Must have been the third or fourth time I visited this place and as soon as I stepped in, the interior looked very familiar. Basically, this is a pub but if you want to have a nice couple of coffee, just go in and order a reasonably priced coffee from friendly staff. The Big Ben has a great location in the heart of Södermalm. Lodges next to the windows offer a nice view out to the streets, though if you prefer to sit at bar counter, they got one. Very spacious place with lots of chairs and lodges, you probably don't have to look for a free chair even during peak hours. It's kinda fun to see an old tobacco vendor machine, I've only seen one in South America. Anyway, I loved the place and enjoyed the coffee while watching thru the window out to the street. Highly recommend it.

Worst experience ever. Putted a denounce with the police against one of the guards there and with the bar. One older man with glasses (a guard) touched me and pushed back and didn't want to give me my jacket at the exit when the bar was closing at 3 am at the new years eve night. He screamed at me offensive and racist comments calling me insect and other stuff. All the people observed how he treated me when I was only taking my jacket at the moment of leaving the place. Be very careful because the guards are very offensive, racist and mistreating the costumers. Called the restaurant to complaint about it and will never go back there with my friends. They even tried to talk to this man but he was only offending me and super racist. He should be fired and not deal with costumers at all.

Decent prices and it's a pub with food. Thou only thing is they are not light the salt on the food it seems. The red wine sauce tasted salt cause of they soy sauce used in it. Would return but ask them to hold the salt and salt stuff my self.

I really appreciated the schnitzel, though I prefer not to put butter or sauce directly over, since it looses it's crisp then. Friendly and attentive staff made sure that I had everything I need. Surprisingly few places seem to realise this possibility to up their income... Not as many kinds of beer and spirits as in other more trendy places, but they have more than enough and there are always some brands on guest - tap. Mixed audience makes this pub suitable for most people.

Nice pub with nice and friendly service. Good food and very generous portions! Spacious dining area but the rest room is one floor down with stairs, didn’t notice a lift for those that might need it. I would definitely revisit the Big Ben and bring friends!

Had a meeting with 10 people and they did everything to make us comfortable and have fun. Food and service were good. Also the pub was not noisy, there is no loud music in upper floor. We could chat without any disturbing. I really liked the experience. I will definitely arrange more meeting there.

English pub. Friendly pub. But not too friendly. Perfect balance. Serve me, connect, then leave me alone. Check back now and then, but sparsely. Follow my lead. I'll let you know what I need. Using this measure, Big Ben is a treasure.

HEDS UP The wish-copy-angelina jolie waitress is incredibly rude, maybe retarded - worth a visit!

There is a standup comedy room downstairs. Very funny international and local comedians take the stage. Good atmosphere. Food is served at the street level bar only.

Nice place, quite busy bartenders and quite load at night. They have Gunniess so its a 5/5 anyway.

The staff is nice and fast!. Fun music. Unfortunately is a place choosen by many people, so, it can be uncomfortable to handle.

People with a gluten intolerance get treated differently. After asking for a gluten free beer, he answered offensively. Completely worst visit to a pub ever!

Nice place with a beautiful and clean toilets (not often happens in pubs) but prices are quite high compared to other places around. Short selection of snacks also doesn't play his favour

Okay pub that has comedy nights. Comedians were a mixed bag, but still pretty fun!

About 2/5 comedians were super funny and then there was 2 more that were funny. And the last guy that totally bombed.but its a great vibe, especially for a date.

Keep clear! A friend accidentally put their pin into the POS (card machine) and still hasn’t got their money back. Obvious mistake. Four drinks shouldn’t cost you 4567 Kr
