The
setting
is
beautiful
and
it
would
have
been
a
great
experience
were
it
not
for
the
completely
non-service
minded
impractical
staff.
We
arrived
in
a
large
group
from
our
work
christmas
dinner
and
sat
downstairs.
One
bartender
manned
the
downstairs
bar
and
they
were
overwhelmed
by
an
already
large
crowd
of
customers.
Naturally,
some
of
us
went
to
order
upstairs
where
there
were
three
bartenders
and
an
empty
bar,
only
to
be
lectured
by
the
main
bartender
on
how
it's
not
policy
for
them
to
serve
drinks
upstairs
to
downstairs
patrons.
In
the
two
minutes
he
lectured
us
he
could
have
already
prepared
our
drinks.
The
same
happened
to
others
who
came
up
to
order.
He
finally
agreed
to
serve
basics
drinks
but
nothing
that
would
require
much
preparation
(not
that
the
three
bartenders
upstairs
were
even
busy).
So
why
give
two
stars?
Because
the
staff's
attitude
sets
the
tone
of
the
night.
We
arrived
to
celebrate
and
support
what
looked
like
a
great
establishment
and
were
treated
like
naughty
children
instead
of
being
welcomed.
