A jazz temple.. amazing music and discomfort.. you are standing or sitting at a table for eating.. the discomfort is either in spending more than you want to or in standing. Then again... For amazing jazz musicians like the Kenny Garrett Quintet today, it's totally worth it!

Loved being able to chose whether to sit at a table upstairs in a really civilised manner or whether to mosh in the crowd below. Long and thin room made leaving from the one and only exit kind of a drag, long queue to the cloakroom which means it takes forever to actually leave this place.

Amazing live performance by Rafven. Expensive drinks are never nice, but since entry was only 120kr then its hard to complain.

One of the best places in Stockholm for live music. If you like funk, soul, jazz or just a good live show, this is the place to be. Cannot recommend it enough.

Most famous jazz club in Stockholm with live music, concerts and jam sessions. Nice place to visit, there is bar inside with beers and drinks. Very small but it gives you opportunity to be very close to musicians. Highly recommended.

Fasching is one of the leading jazz venues in Stockholm. There's usually concerts happening every other week, and the Soul Club on weekends - staff are always courteous and efficient and concerts and clubs always go great. Recommended for locals and tourists alike.

A wonderful night at Fasching, with a performance by Kebnekajse. It was a unique and unforgettable experience to see them live on stage.

Fantastic venue for a music experience, you get very close to the artists. Quite ok beer selection.

It was a bit weird to see the uninspired sighing physiognomy of the bartender after ordering the additional 7th Caipirinha to the previous 6 at once. Pardon me for making you do your job. Can not figure out what I have paid the tips for. Nevertheless, the dinner and the performance were great. P.S. Caipirinha goes with crushed ice and squeezed limes, but not with ice-cubes and one lime slice only as a garnish, especially for Brazilians.

It's a lovely place that has a great atmosphere. I attended the Minyo Crusaders concert and it was great to see them up close, the sound quality was top notch. The only thing that is a bit inconvenient is that it gets very hot inside and the club doesn't seem to have an AC or ventilation system. Other than that, a great place to attend jazz concerts.

The venue is amazing! Such a history in the atmosphere! Great sound and both intimate without it being too crowded. You can sit at a table the whole concert of you book a table and eat there. The earlier you book, the closer to the stage. We sat at the balcony, which was apparently a less desirable seat, but we wanted to sit there anyhow. The food was ok, but very pricey for the quality. Felt like I paid for the seat rather than the food. Saw the amazing Nine Sparks Riot! 10 of 10 for the band ⭐

We bumped into here on our way home. Because it was later in the evening we didn’t have to pay to go inside. The place was pretty packed and we could see why, the jazz band was just amazing. We had a wonderful time

If you love jazz, should definitely attend the concert here. We have a lovely night enjoying the music with a couple of drinks. Remember to reserve the ticket or arrive earlier to get a ticket if it's a popular jazz player/band. Good to arrive early to get a good seat also We sat on the stage floor and the sounding was good.

When it comes to experiencing a true respect and admiration for different types of Jazz/Blues and Hip-Hop both locally and from around the world, it is the place to visit. The sound system in the locale could use some adjusting, since the sound you hear varies slightly throughout the room, but that is a minor complaint. Aside from the great services they provide, you frequently see the staff actively listening to the concerts as well. Keep an eye out for the night jams they sometimes hold. It is nice way to wind down after work while hearing musicians jam away

Very good place to listen to live jazz. They need more stools so people can sit, but other than that just fine

Live jazz music inside. DJ blues outside. So far, so good. However, the concerr room inside was a little stuffy, especially at the mezannine floor. They need to circulate the air, which should not be difficult to do. Staff pleasant.

A very enjoyable evening. The Live band had been cancelled, but the vibe, music and crowd were still great fun as the DJ cranked up the tunes.

My visit to Stockholm, I was looking for a spot to go hear some music. I stumbled upon Fasching while doing a google search and let’s just say we had such a great time I think I lost about two Pounds dancing so much. It was a Friday night and they played 90s & early 20s R&B music. The bar tender who was at the bar that was located in the front made us a mean Old Fashioned and he was so friendly. Such a great time we had that night!

Watch out ladies! There is a black bartender who has system with the local guys and with full security team and the bartender will drug your drinks! Everything is captured on security tapes and security wont do nothing!

Great food, good drinks, and cool vibes. Definitely recommend getting the ox cheek if you’re having dinner before the show.

A bit cumbersome if you want to catch a set without going through the preamble of reserving a table and the 350 kr dinner that goes with it before the music even starts. But the acts here seem to be quality and the audience really respects jazz.

A very small jazz club in the centre of Stockholm with an incredibly cozy ambience. They have a jazz artist performing most nights and a free entry night with "upcoming talent" which is perfect for those unsure about jazz or just wanting a cheap night out. You can book a table and have a full meal there or you can just get drinks from the bar. Can get rather packed on nights with headline acts and they do oversell tickets, there also isn't a great deal of comfortable seating if you aren't at a table. They have a cloakroom which is 25 SEK, likely more important for those heading out clubbing as opposed to a jazz concert and they also have 4 unisex toilets. If you like jazz this is a brilliant place to spend an evening.

A great place to enjoy good music in a cozy atmoshere. This is a small club for music enthusiasts where you can reconcile with yourself after a tough work day and be in good company.

The concerts are nice but the place for standing is so undignifiedly put on a side where you constantly bump into passers-by. Such a shame.

The music is funky and the vibes are amazing. If the phrase "dance like nobody is watching" was a place, it would be Fasching. Great place to move your body with no judgement and great drinks

  • 4/5 Yıldız A. 2 years ago on Google
Inside the area is not too big, so it gives a nice feeling in a concert to be close with the band playing. Prices are not too expensive for beer.

Small. Intimate. Clean. Great music. Good food and service. Fasching is a Stockholm institution and deserves to be.

We went there for the live music and dinner. The jazz performance was average, accoustics were not great and was not super impressed with the performance ( especially after getting charged 220 SEK). The food was a disappointment though. It was called fine dining, but food and drinks were very average.

Had a terrible night and left after 20 minutes of the show. The place was so overbooked that my friend and I could hardly move. When we tried to get a nice spot beside the bar there was a racist lady who just whistled at us to shoo us off. We ended up at the periphery hardly able to see the artist. The Brazilian artist herself sang beautiful songs but was not what one would expect from a classic jazz experience, perhaps due to my ignorance in the genre. The receptionists were very nice but some waiters were really rude and ignored us when we asked for directions to the toilet. Overall it was unfortunately a very bad experience for me and not worth 350kr for the experience.

Talented musicians from around the world keep coming back to Fasching year after year to perform their music -- says a a whole lot about this place! Nowadays you can even book a table right in front of the stage... but you have to be out early for most artists as the place is not that big - but that is also one of it's charms.

Was here during May. The place has a nice vibe to it. I went here on a night with no live-performers but there was a disco/soul/R&B-themed music going on. It's a great place to enjoy music, dance, and just have fun!
