🫤 The success is to be able to gain such a reputation with serving such an average food! We’ve been here for brunch and considering the price and their reputation the food was disappointing! It didn’t taste bad but it was nothing special to wait for weeks and book way in advance👎🏻 plus I would call... People often mention ordered, service, experience, restaurant, dishes, great,

The success is to be able to gain such a reputation with serving such an average food! We’ve been here for brunch and considering the price and their reputation the food was disappointing! It didn’t taste bad but it was nothing special to wait for weeks and book way in advance👎🏻 plus I would call it lunch! Oaxen didn’t really get the brunch concept! Not including anything sweet in the menu and serve dessert instead already proves it!?! The cheesecake in the picture didn’t taste like cheesecake at all. It was covered with caramelized plums and took all the taste away from cheesecake. Had I ordered caramelized plums, it would be acceptable but I ordered cheesecake and didn’t taste any! The fried chicken was just like what one gets in any fast food for half price and bigger portion!

Big fuss for nothing. I was with friends in a two day Stockholm trip and thought of booking the Slip. I regret it. The food was not special at all. Not creative, not tasteful and not presentable at all. What is the Michelin Guide doing. Are they checking every now and then? The selection of food poor, the service acceptable but not what expected and as I said the food was a big disappointment. We ate the Swedish rumpsteak ordered it medium and it was the hardest meet I ate in a restaurant. And tastless. All side dishes needed to be ordered and were just acceptable. I would never come back here and definitely I would never further recommend it.

One of the best fine dining experiences I ever had. So much creativity, great local and seasonal ingredients, excellent wine pairing and what I loved most was their concept of shared table to be able to meet like minded people from around the world. Definitely a top recommendation!

We grabbed two appetizers, the lamb, and three sides at Oaxen Slip after checking out the sculptures in the park. The dishes were executed well but not quite the flavor for the price or the hype. Service was lovely though and wine list was great. And there was a bar dog with another guest which is always a plus. Note that the cocktail list and bar were pretty sparse.

Oaxen Slip is definitely a gem - one of my favorite casual (ish) fine dining restaurants in Stockholm. Beautiful flavors, presentation, and friendly staff in a lovely setting. Overheard the observation last week that "everything is more special and tastes better than it sounds on the menu" which is pretty spot on. Worth a visit, and then a return.

Cool location and nice interior. The service was typical Swedish, not rude but not that nice either. The food was good but I missed that little extra. The leek was hard to eat due to it being super soggy. Maybe my expectations were to high. But if you are in the area and want a decent lunch it’s a good place. Not that pricy as I thought it would be.

Beautiful dishes with an upscale modern twist. The portions were appropriate for this type of restaurant. Definitely try something from each section of the menu, you will not be disappointed. Raw halibut & Cod Collar were the top dishes we tasted.

We visited this place for a fancy dinner after a day of visiting museums. The service here was fantastic and we felt very welcomed as tourists, even though we may be underdressed for the occasion. The resident dog was friendly as well and added to the overall experience. The food was great, but the ones that blew our mind away were the starters. We ordered the octopus and scallop, both which were fresh and tasted heavenly. The scallop melted in our mouth while the octopus was tender. Paired with the seasoning, they were the highlight of our meal. We ordered the steak to share as our main. The beef was done to medium on default, which may have tasted tough to some people, and the cutting had a fatty portion that not many people may enjoy. Still it tasted decent, though it would not be the one of the highly rated beef we have tasted. The interior itself was romantic, the ceiling height windows really added to the atmosphere. Good place to bring a date, with the sea view. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. Definitely made our trip memorable.

Beautiful restaurant! Came here after visiting the ABBA Museum. The ambience within the restaurant is really cool with pretty art & boats tied to the ceiling. We all tried one of their pizzas and they were all very delicious, and affordable too. Service was really friendly and talkative, so we also had some nice conversations. Can highly recommend this restaurant if you get the chance to visit it!

Super fancy and tasty. Interesting experience. We ordered nine-course menu for each. There are also a few small appetizers offered for us for a free tasting. The dinner took around four hours... I almost fall asleep in the end😂 After the dinner, everyone got a box of selected chocolates as a souvenir. Highly recommended.

The caviar starter was delicious. Tartar and pizza were also good. The pasta dish was ok but a bit underboiled.

Amazing! Super nice restaurant, the staff is very kind . The first course the scallops were so delicious maybe a bit a tiny portion but worth it. The fish (dorade) was absolutely perfect! So tender and a buttery flavorful grill taste!

Subjectively one of the very best in Stockholm. Traditional Swedish snacks and dishes elevated by a modern twist. Beautiful interiors and lovely service. Reasonably priced for the quality they offer. Can you ask for more?

Was very lucky to be come up from the waitlist. Such a lovely experience with beautiful views and lovely staff. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend coming here. I did the non-alcoholic pairing and I really enjoyed it!

Great location, a terrace on the water, quick and friendly service. But the food is average. I wouldn't recommend pizza in this place

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was so good - we took both fish and steak. Honestly, one of the best steak frites ever. Classic dishes with a very innovative and special twist. They have a nice wine list to choose from. The location is stunning! Special thanks to Bella for the best service ever :)

Love this place. Great food and atmosphere. We booked the brasserie on a Friday night at the beginning of June. It was raining so we didn’t get to sit outside. Was busy when we arrived at 8 but by the end of dinner was relatively quiet

Oaxen Krog was easily one of the tastiest dining experiences we've ever had. I think it is only a matter of time until they reach a third star. Grab a table while you still can. Delicious range of snacks to start, followed by dish after dish of amazing food. Closed out with great desserts and beautiful chocolates. We left content, relaxed and deeply satisfied. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful evening!

Definitely amazing experience, lots of swedish kitchen elements! Lovely interior and very knowledgeable staff! For me food was a little simple but again fine dining can be hit or miss!

Went OAXEN : Krog & Slip on a whim after leaving the ABBA museum and it was a fantastic choice. We went for lunch without booking a table. The entire lunch was amazing, as well as the cappuccinos. Our waiter was fast, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Next time I’m on Djurgården, I’ll be making another trip here. Kudos

Oaxen Slip never fails to be so authentic. We came back after a long time and the experience was just as awesome as the first time there. Great service, great chilled environment and great food.
