Overall the food quality and quantity doesn’t match its price. Highlight: Beef tartar. The aged beef paired perfectly with black truffle, and the cut of the beef was without any bit of tendons. The texture got neutralized by the crisps and cream cheese. It was the best beef tartar I had in Stockholm, but it could not save the whole menu. Worst Dish: The duck. The duck skin was very soggy and the meat was super dry. The side root was hard as rock. The other dishes were plain. You can feel that they were trying to be creative, but unfortunately it didn’t end up in good results. For example, matching crayfish with cheese beans stew is creative, but the type of cheese they chose was overwhelmingly strong and you cannot taste the original flavors of the crayfish. Furthermore, I was barely full after the dinner. Unfortunately with this price range, you can find a bunch of better places in Stockholm.

Wow! Do you know when the food is so delicious it tickles you with joy? This is seriously one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to - beautiful intimate space, unmatched service from my host, and the food delivers truly unique and exquisite flavor combinations - oxtail, black currant, pork chop, cheese, honey, monkfish cheek, and apple just to name a few - and their pairings are perfect. I wish I had a legit camera to capture the beauty these plates displayed, and I also wish I lived here so my wife and I could frequent this fine establishment.

How can this restaurant not have been rewarded by Michelin? One of my best food experiences of 2023. Congrats to the team, and thank you for your love and words. The wine selection is just fantastic. See you in Corsica guys.

We ate the gastronomic menu with wine pairing. We had a bit of difficulty to connect with the waiters. E.g. telling about the wines without looking at both my partner and me. In some cultures it is okay to ignore the woman and even a sign of respect but for us it is opposite. When we arrived I told I booked a table at 20:30 and got asked.. am I supposed to guess your name. This was a bit rude to our liking. We also felt that it was a bit pushy marketing to get us to drink a glass of champagne before the meal.. yes we had something to celebrate but I am not necessarily up to drinking if it does not add to the experience.. champagne does not equal experience. Yes the drink was tasty but it felt not necessary for us in context of the whole experience. All of this was well compensated with what we came for: good food and good wine.

We ate delicious food paired with wine. Each food and wine was served with detailed explanations, and every food and wine was fantastic. Compared to the satisfaction of the food and wine, the price was not so expensive. A restaurant that I would like to recommend to tourists visiting Stockholm.

They told me good things about it but unfortunately I was disappointed. Bare environment and without personality. Service limited to the essentials. The food was good but without enthusiasm. Maybe next time it will be better.

Delightful staff. Incredible wine selection. Amazing food. Can’t recommend highly enough. The premiere food destination in Stockholm.

Intimate and small neighborhood eatery focusing on seasonal and local plates. The table seating is designed very open and rustic, there is one large table in the room which is surrounded by other minimalist tables. The dinner consists of a short and a long tasting option with 3- or 6-courses (plus amuse). Fish and meat options are really good here, the salad was too simple for my taste. The dessert wasn’t outstanding, it was a rhubarb compote with, vanilla bean ice cream and spruce oil. I recommend the restaurant for the quality of the food, but I don’t recommend the short menu just for the price ratio (large menu is only 200 krona ~ 17€ more). The drinks menu is very limited too, which isn’t automatically bad. But again, the price of wine by the glass is the same as the price of champagne by the glass, which may be unusual or unexpected. The wine was good though. It was 100% Chardonnay from Burgundy, with notes of green apple and peach. Very fruity and easy to drink.

Small modish and attractive restaurant with a strong attention to detail. The tasting menu was well balanced; starting ending strong. Wine pairings were well done, all in all I enjoyed this stop.

4.5 overall, rounded to 5. 5 star for food and wine pairing. All dishes are so delicious and very interesting wine selections! Staff were friendly and would introduce everything. Michelin 1 star level. I would minus half star: 1. You get full, but not that full. Out of 6 courses, there were 2 deserts. It would be good to switch one to a warm dish. 2. Drinks are a bit overpriced. 1 small glass of champagne is 200kr, and a watery coffee is 35kr(they pull a half cup only).

The restaurant has only one tasting menu at a given time. So you are not choosing any dishes yourself and that’s a good thing. We had an amazing experience and every next dish was even better than the last! Absolutely increases and worth coming back over and over again!

Well prepared and good communications of flavors and texture. Extra plus for good music selection in the background.

A well-composed experience. The evening consisted of six courses and an appetizer. The dishes were well planned and the whole was well thought out, super experience of the evening as a whole. Would highly recommend, especially Skrei as it was phenomenal.

What can I say? It's easily the best restaurant I have been to. I went there with my wife, celebrating four years since we met. We both agreed that this is the best food we have had. The chefs made me eat, and love, things I usually don't eat (or even stay away from).

The food was great and the staff was friendly. I really liked the wine selection and the way it was presented. Allergies were addressed well. The only improvement I would like to see is the pacing between the courses, it should be a bit slower

This is the best tasting menu I have ever had. And I've been to over 30 countries. I am not joking. It wasn't even that each course was memorable, it was each ingredient in each course! Each ingredient somehow stood out individually yet seamlessly worked with the other ingredients to create a feast unlike any other I have had. The staff - there were two gentlemen, equally wonderful, kind and informative - the chef and anyone else that has a hand in this place...a major kudos! This is a must. And highly recommend the wine pairing. It's worth it!

Dinner was amazing! We enjoyed a 6 course meal over 2 hours without not much wait in between. The restaurant accommodated for a change in menu for my fiancé who is pescatarian. Thought the food was exceptional, a few surprises in taste and very fair on price. Would recommend and definitely go back again.

I don’t know why Michelin hasn’t given a star to Nisch. Everything is so good, creamy texture with fresh wine pairing.

Feels like we have discovered a new gem in Stockholm - @nischrestaurant ! At this Scandinavian restaurant you will eat a fixed seasonal menu. We were blown away by the tasty yet minimalistic dishes, all boosted with a beautiful well-balanced acidity. What’s in the menu varies day by day based on what nature has currently has to offer. But one thing for sure, the team at Nisch pick the best of what they can get from the fields, the sea & the forest and turns into something truest special. We highly recommend you to book a table here. We can’t wait to go back really soon again!

Nice, cosy interiors and very professional, skillful and friendly, sometimes almost homely, staff. We had the seven course tasting meal and several of the dishes contained ingredients picked locally by the staff themselves (such att delighfully fresh blueberries and Cantharellus cibarius). All in all, it made for a very well composed dinner consisting of diverse textures and temperatures as well as wonderful tastes and smells. I can heartfully recommend the wine pairings. The somellier, although sometimes a bit cocky, is very talkatively knowledgeable and has managed to get his hands on some incredibly interesting wines not found pretty much anywhere (in Sweden at least) and presents them in a very engaging and informative way.

Great tasting menu that changes regularly with great value for money. The best I had in a long time and among the best in Stockholm. Claes Björling creates very interesting combination of tastes and the sommelier had a very good and interesting pairing to each dish. Well done!

WOW! Reservations a must. There are two seatings each night and courses are served at the same time. Don’t be late and dress well!( Not stuffy, but jeans and hats would be out of place. )Small, intimate vibe. The menu changes, so check current menu. The service is impeccable. Every dish is described in detail. The wine pairing is perfect. The staff have extensive knowledge of wines. The food was sublime. The service pace is relaxed and perfectly timed. This is definitely an experience worth your time! We left in awe!

Both service and food was truly amazing. A hidden gem on the Stockholm culinary scene. If you want to experience new nordic cuisine, this is the place to visit. The wine pairings and more specifically, the explanations of the wines served, elevated our evening to another level. A must visit in Stockholm.
