Woodstockholm is a fine dining restaurant in Stockholm that delivers a unique culinary experience with a 90's theme. From the moment you enter the restaurant, you are immediately transported to a different time with its nostalgic decor and ambiance. The restaurant's attention to detail in every aspect, from the music to the cutlery, is impressive and creates an immersive experience. The highlight of the restaurant is undoubtedly its outstanding menu. The dishes are expertly crafted and feature amazing flavors that blend perfectly. Each dish is presented beautifully, making the dining experience visually appealing as well. From the appetizers to the entrees and desserts, every dish was exceptional, and it was evident that a lot of thought and creativity went into each one. The servers at Woodstockholm were polite, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They provided excellent recommendations and were happy to answer any questions we had. We felt well taken care of throughout our meal, and the service only added to the overall positive experience. Overall, Woodstockholm is a restaurant that I highly recommend. The attention to detail, exceptional menu, and excellent service make it a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique fine dining experience!

Wow! Incredible group business dinner in the private room, with creative, inventive dishes and a fab, knowledgeable server (storyteller, really!) This is the fave Stockholm restaurant of one of our colleagues — and easy to see why. The six-course meal was sublime and catered to the vegetarians, the pescatarians, the teetotalers and the omnivores. Everyone was happy. Even the most jaded international travelers amongst us commented on how much they enjoyed themselves. Hope to come back one day. #25MemorableMeals

A super cozy and warm restaurant with wonderful eye for the little extra service. They do lovely themes that lasts about 8 weeks at a time, the theme we experienced was Astrology. Very nice experience and lovely staff unfortunately I was not super impressed by the food experiences, it was a little bit to small dishes on the plate and to experimentally for my taste. I have to say the desserts were absolutely amazing and that I would give a 11/10. Overall I want to go back when they have a new theme. Thank you for an amazing service Wood

The restaurant is very small, and sitting at the bar next to strangers that scream is not an ideal way to start your evening. Regarding the food (theme pancakes), nice presentation but rather uninteresting flavors and very small portions. We had the four course menu, and that was in no way adequate amount of food. The service was lovely but unfortunately not enough to even it out, we won't be coming back.

I can’t fight the feeling that I’ve been robbed at this restaurant. Absolutely don’t get the hype. Everything is off starting with very uncomfortable sitting. Then the menu is weak, weird, no connection to the topics. The portions are extreeeeeemly tiny making dishes super expensive. And the portions in the set menu are even smaller, not sure how it is even possible. The food was not good, oversalted and too much onion which left aftertaste. The salad leaves covering the paté were very bitter, unacceptable. I’d never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Outstanding place. We had the four course tasting menu and we were perfectly full with the addition of a dessert! The food is so carefully thought out with the theme, the fish was spectacular and the home made bread and butter are so so good. Really loved the explanations of the theme too. Brilliant dinner. Thank you!

The food taste well specially pork belly but would not suggest if you are vegetarian. The quantity is too low for the price even for fine dining. Felt hungry even after ordering three course menu. Not impressed with the service either. Since they do not specify any menu/price on their website it is around 800-850 per person if you include a drink and dessert. Since they frequently change the menu based upon theme I would like if they displayed the menu on their website or have an option to send it when you make booking.

Truly wonderful experience! The menu theme was literature when we were there— the staff got to pick their favorite authors and the menu was inspired by their lives or books. The waitstaff was simply amazing. It costs us about €200 for two four-course meals, 2 glasses of wine, and a dessert— well worth every cent.

Had a really nice Dinner at woodstockholm. The atmosphere is cozy and the service, food and wine was very welcoming and pleasant. I like that the places changes food theme every 2 months, as it will always be something New and interesting to try. Can recommend trying this place out!

We were told that in the end of June the restaurant changed its theme to trains. All the dishes on the tasting menu came with a story related to trains in some way—the restaurant’s current topic/theme. The restaurant will change its menu, decor, music, and window painting for each new theme making it feel like an immersive experience while also serving delicious food with attentive and fun staff members. Gluten free options were available for persons with celiac disease. Also, great wines were suggested as needed.

I had a spot by the bar and ordered several dishes as per my own choice - ending up eating too much but I was happy about it. I loved it, every dish- from the reindeer snack, to bacalaitos and duck pancakes. The last meal, I opted for a vegetarian option, called okonomiyaki - one of the best meals of my life. It was an incredible explosion of flavors. I’d make the remark of too much salt as well, less would work equally well in the majority of the cases. Service was adorable, absolutely. I had the feeling it’s one of this beautiful discoveries that will live long in my memories with the wish to come back and relive the same.

We went here to enjoy our Christmas evening and we had a very nice experience. The restaurant is very cozy small, but for us it was part of the experience. The staff was very friendly and what attracted us most was the story telling of the dinner. Ours were sports themed and with each dish we got a interesting, funny story and delicious course served. Definitely recommend if your looking for something non standard dinner. Bit pricey, but the food was good quality!

Went on a busy night just before Easter with friends, and second time visiting. Just as great as the first time! Wonderful staff, super chill atmosphere and great quality. Food is delicious and prices are not bad either. And the music from the record player is that little extra touch. Favourite place in Sthlm.

High ambition, fun vibe, great theme and top service! Theme was Under the sea and chose the set menu with 3 starters and one main. Added dessert. We had the feeling we got our own waitress that sat down at our table. Loved it!

Might just be the best culinary experience I have had in years and top 5 in Stockholm. We ended up doing the set menu. The themes are clever, the staff knowledgeable and attentive and the food presentation and taste are divine. My only disappointment is that it took me 5 years to find this place. So, if you are looking for a place that has loads of personality without pretentiousness and food that is fit for a Michelin star, then look no further.

Me and my son visited Woodstockholm today and were offered a delicious dining experience. The menu changes regularly, featuring dishes inspired by different themes and cuisines. When we visited the theme was trains. The restaurant is small, crowded and has a warm, playful athmosphere. Book a table in advance is recommended. The staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, and they explain each dish in detail. WoodStockholm offers a wonderful dining experience in a small and charming setting in Stockholm. I highly recommend it!

What a sensational place! A dedicated, theme based kitchen on star level! All is done with love and passion. My recommendation: choose the menu - not too much to eat, but giving you the full flavour. Combined with the wine offering - a must do! Gold rings to the sweet team enjoyed every minute.

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. First of all, the service and experience is really fantastic - it is so clear that they want you to have a unique, high-quality meal and they go so out of their way to serve that up. There was one central theme (for us, writers!), and our waitress went so out of the way to explain the philosophy and idea behind each dish. It was interesting and delicious. Although it's a set menu, they went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary requirements - no meat or vinegar. Not having either in Scandinavian cuisine is quite a feat and they were able to completely re-do some of the dishes. I was so grateful. Our waitress was also so clearly invested in our table - you could tell she really cared about our evening and whether we had a nice time. Thanks to the efforts of Woodstockholm, we certainly did! A huge thank you for the attentive service, unique experience and truly delicious food.

Very accommodating, small, cozy, but very busy place. Food was to die for and the bread was plain amassing. Wine selection is small and wineries unknown to someone who knows the labels, but must say it paired well with the food I had. Will come back next time I’m in Stockholm for sure.

This was an absolute delight. Visited during the Renaissance menu - every dish had its own story, gleefully explained by our server who made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. Amazing food, amazing service, top marks all round.

Also delicious food! We got the set menu which was based around the parties we missed during covid! Each dish was themed around the food we eat at certain special occasions such as Hanukkah, Swedish midsummer and crayfish parties, and graduation feasts. Was a little on the expensive side so be prepared for that but we’ll worth every dime. Staff was friendly and took their time to explain the composition of each dish. We sat outside with a lovely view of the square. Highly recommend!

The best food we had a chance to try in Stockholm. The place is small, but cosy, led in a very friendly atmosphere by amazing crew that make you feel like at home. And then you get a chance to try a tasting menu where each meal is just an explosion of different flavors, with delicious wines served per your choices. This is a must have place to reserve for a dinner

We went during the astrogastro theme and had the 4 courses menu (+dessert). All dishes were really great, as well as the wine recommendations. Can't wait to go back for the next theme!

Highly recommend. The Dim Sum Menu was delicious (Salt'n'Peppa Pulpo was my favorite dish) and the hospitality the best we've had in a long time. You can tell the people working here love their job and take their time for every guest. Thanks for having us! Can't wait for the next theme menu - what could it be? 😉 💗

Fun! Small funky restaurant playing great music - not expecting such creative interesting food. But it was great. Clever presentation of the food concept (which changes every couple of months). Very engaging staff. A really enjoyable experience.

Best culinary experience I had in Stockholm. The staff is friendly and smiling, the atmosphere is cosy and the music tasteful. Also the theme of food changes every month. Food was amazing and delicious - definitely go for the tasting menu so you can enjoy different tastes.

I dare say that this was the best meal I’ve ever enjoyed. The food, the concept surrounding a “theme” to each dish and the vibe was so extraordinary. The service was something beyond any dining experience I’ve had. Four joyful people cared for us at each stage of the meal, checking in, placing plates before us and telling us how it was prepared and why it was prepared in just this way. Someone was spinning vinyl by the window. Excellent choices there. So much fun. So delicious. So relaxing. Thank you Woodstockholm.

My husband and I went Woodstockholm as a part of our Stockholm visit. I wasn't sure what to expect from the sport's theme but what we got was interesting stories and amazing food! We went for the four course meal and all of them were delicious. The standouts for me were the octopus, the cod and the goat butter, which I had never tried before. The service was top notch as well and we had a great evening. Special shoutout to the staff for superbly accommodating my current diatery needs and the great variety of fun, non-alcoholic drinks. I'll definitely be returning.

I think the themes are pretty creative--it was literature when I went. Basically each dish was inspired by some literary work and the waiters would explain the origin/thought behind the dish. I had the Yoko Ono (tuna) and the Virginia Woolf (Haddock). Food was incredible, I was especially surprised by the different levels of flavor in the Virginia Woolf (it seems plain at first glance, but as you dig in you discover a lot of different flavor profiles). Only gripes would be that I wish the portions were a bit larger and also the restaurant seems a little small. Still a quality fine-dining experience 🙂
