A cosy cafe that is full of personality despite being in a tourist area. The scrambled eggs are served directly in the pan, which gives the food a very homey feel. The bun that came with eggs was a very pleasant surprise - it was warm and soft and complimented the eggs very well. It was also at this cafe that I experienced for the first time: latte that came in a bowl. Props to them for not holding back on drink portions.

This is a place with orange juice done in the local, it not done when you order, but is fresh made. You can buy one by 75 SEK. There are other fresh juice types also available. The service is very good, fast and kind. There are few tables in the walk to enjoy your juice while you see the movement.

Very sweet, friendly organised gals at the counter. If you like sandwiches, good coffee, yummy fresh squeezed o.j., swedish "vacuum rolls" ( ;-) the green marzipan rolls dipped on the ends w chocolate) and a laid back, comfy atmosphere, you're in heaven! It's small (for strollers a little tight), but so welcoming, makes you want to curl up w a good book on a rainy day and just keep buying their different yummy things to eat! Those Vacuum Rolls though!!! (Punschrullar)

Absolute place to visit for a nice and tipical Swedish dish and drink. What a colourfull and happy place to be. Very friendly staff, who are willing to explain all their special dishes. And ones you ordered a drink, like coffee or tea, you can get a refill for free. Also make sure to put your name on the wall. Like many other customer did before us. Please come and visit this lunchroom, you want regret it!

Can I give 10 Stars to this place?? I was there today and ate one of the best sandwiches of my life! Actually the name of the sandwich is “smörgåstårta” and it was totally delicious!!! Amazing!! After eating my lunch, I had the pleasure to also taste a cake made with Rabarber! The owner of the place is extremely nice and has always a smile on her face!! This is a MUST VISIT place in Stockholm! Thank you guys for this amazing experience! Will be back for sure!!! 😍🍰🤗

Delicious! The salmon + spinach quiche is maybe the best food I've had in stockholm so far. So tasty. The fresh squeezed orange juice is also *French kiss* . Staff and atmosphere are adorable.

Absolutely love this place. Breakfast was so good I went back for lunch later. Fresh squeezed juice, great coffee, fresh pastry and sandwiches. If you are visiting Stockholm and just need a quick bite this is the spot. Indoor and outdoor seating available and I do recommend the outdoor seating cause the architecture around is beautiful.

Scandinavia isn’t know well for their cuisine but their pastries are top tier and this place does it right. The apple strudel was one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The princess cake was my wife’s favorite, it was light, fluffy, and the icing skin were tasty. Also, liked the aesthetic of this place with windows full of oranges and fur covered chairs.

It is located in the old town, so it’s a pretty busy and popular place. There are always people there and it could be hard to find a table. You also have to wait in a long line to order something. The food and drinks is worth it and everything we ordered was very delicious. The staff was also kind.

A quaint cafe in central location. Ample Swedish "fika" goods (although a Swedish local advised we weren't eating Swedish delicacies and the cafe was skewed towards tourists). We found the cream and hot chocolate quite heavy (although definitely just our taste!) And thoroughly enjoyed the seafood soup and open sandwich. The cinnamon bun wasn't super fresh and a bit too dense and the coconut brownie was heavy but great flavours regardless. We found the cafe a bit too cold but a nice place to enjoy fika. Would recommend

FIKA in Stockholm. Was drawn to this cafe by all the oranges outside of the store and the citrus smell. The cafe was very cute with about 10 tables in a split level. We had orange juice instead of coffee for the Vit C ,also a tomato mozzarella sandwich and a cinnamon bun for our afternoon break. They warmed my sandwich for me but wish they warmed the cinnamon bun too. The orange juices were fresh squeezed. It was nice atmosphere at the cafe for the break.

Great service, atmosphere and food! We tried the seafood soup, the orange juice and the homemade brownie. Everything was great! The cheese and bread that came as a side with the soup were very good as well!

Perhaps my photos will not be able to fully convey the atmosphere of this café. And even more so, even the most successful image of a showcase with sandwiches and cakes will not convince you to look here... But it is when you treat yourself to something from this café that you will appreciate how great it is!! I came here twice in one day: in the morning and in the evening, a cup of coffee and an airy dessert. The coziness of this small room allows you to enjoy both food and conversation if you drop by here with friends. I was given as much attention as a tourist needs, who is unfamiliar with the menu and also needs additional answers to a lot of questions, as if he got into the information center of the city. Thank you! 🍃🌸🍂October 8th was a wonderful day spent in Stockholm. a city with monumental and majestic buildings of history

Cute place, friendly service, and tasty breakfast. Editing review on third day: the cinnamon buns/ Kanelbullar is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Crispy top with soft doughy inside. We saw it being made our first day here. Tried on second. Came back for it on third and last day. Yes, it’s that good. The salami sandwich was unexpectedly yummy - grabbed for boat tour. The sun dried tomato spread with the cheese and salami was one of the best grab and goes I’ve had. Great coffee and fresh juices. Can’t go wrong here. Came early - easy to get a seat. Scrambled eggs are shareable- large portion!

Was walking along with Gamla Stan and with the wife and came across this gem of a place. The interior decoration had 70s proto punk/80s post punk vibes and the irony was that the music being played was country rock music soundtrack. Made for a great experience. Now onto the actual culinary experience. Tried the Biskvi and absolutely loved it. The brewed coffee was great and the service was outstanding. The lady serving was very attentive and helpful. Wanted to try out the other stuff especially the fish soup but was too full from lunch. They have a decent selection of pastries and sandwiches as well. Definitely one of those places where you could spend hours while doing your old town exploration in Stockholm.

This is one of those perfectly modest yet authentic places where you can taste some simple but good pastries and teas. The overall design is pretty chaotic. The crew seems so relax that it is contagious on you so... you feel relaxed too ! Perfect for a 4pm snack after some serious walking down the historical streets of Stockholm

Visited that place as it had good reviews. First the negative. Cappuccino was terrible and most cakes rather tasteless. Now the good. Very friendly service great freshly squeezed juices. All in all just an average review.

Such an adorable place; the soft seatings, the scribbles on some of the interior, the decorations in general and so on! I had a great cappuccino here and a very tasty, thick carrot cake 😋☕️ Friendly, chatty staff and comfy-cozy seatings!

I ended up in this café completely by accident. And it was the right decision. A very cosy, unusual, creative design. A huge selection of very tasty fast food and snacks. Tasty sweet pastries. But, what I liked best was the salmon cake. It was unparalleledly delicious. It's a very unusual dish. I've never tasted anything like it before. A lot of salmon! I am very impressed with this cafe. I recommend it for a tasty and quick snack.

A café with long opening hours in a central location. The guy who was working there gets 5 stars! He was really kind and friendly. The orange juice was very fresh and good quality. The pastry thing had a very nice taste and fresh fruit. Maybe the bready part was not as fresh as the creme and the fruit though. The walls are written with words and quotes in many languages from people that have been there. This can be a bit too much/too busy for the eyes yet cool.

  • 5/5 Cameron B. 2 years ago on Google
Absolutely loved this place. I rarely give 5 stars and am a harsh critic. If I only had the medium breakfast I would have given this 3 stars due to small portions versus the price but the desserts were phenomenal. The Budapest and the Carrot Cake were the best we've ever tasted compared to other Budapest and carrot cakes. I love carrot cake and get it whenever I see it on a menu. After 150-200 carrot cakes - I very well could have tasted the best at Cafe Schweizer. It was world class. We went twice and the first visit the staff was extremely friendly - the second time the staff seemed in the middle of a crisis or something. Understandable though as it was the morning after the Ukraine conflict escalated.

Very nice cafe only place that is open in yearly morning 7am. Fresh bread 🥪 made in house. At the location squeezed orange juice 🥤. Price is okey since its near the castle 🏰. Parking was close by but i guess in day time street parking is completely full

Very cozy and creatively designed Café in the old town area. The pastry and the bread are tasty. Didn't have trouble finding a place to eat despite the rush hour as the staff was very good in sorting the crowd out. A must visit place in Stockholm if you need a quick bite.

Dessert: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Overall: Time for fika! Swedish princess cake anyone? The extended review... Dessert: Swedish Princess Cake - 5/5 - Sooooo yummy. Walking around and need to rest your tootsies? Having a hankering for something sweet. This my friends is your answer! Ambiance: A cute little cafe. Oddly the outside doesn't match the inside. The walls are all tagged over which gives it charm! Service: Standard service.

Lovely cafe at the center of Stockholm near the old town square Gamla Stan. Nice stop to have some drinks and dessert. We tried two of their desserts which were delicious. The one with caramel and almond paste was different yet tasty. The pomegranate juice was very fresh. A lot of people were eating the salmon quiche though. Definitely should try if you’re nearby.

Walking around Gamma Stan, we came across this beautiful cafe. A must if you are visiting. The fresh orange is so refreshing and the pastries, well, just go and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

First time visiting this place. Schweizer tea is really good which you'll get a fresh ginger, mint leaves and sliced orange on it. The carrot cake has a great balance with the cream cheese frosting ( though there are some parts of the cake that are a little bit dry) Hot chocolate is also good. Cozy coffee place to hangout and it's not so far to the metro. I wish there would be more choices of pastries but beside that will definitely come back again and try others from the menu! ☺️

Very reliable place- summer time is first to open at 7am! Food choices for breakfast are nice, just look at the small board right behind you! I have heard people to order #3. I never new there IS a small black board accros of a cashier :). Now I do. Eggs & combos are listed there. Coffee is nice, other food items are of a good quality. Can be somwhat slow, since everything is prepped fresh, and staff is one or max 2 people, and place can get full. Oh, right, fresh juice anyone?
