This was one of the highlights of Stockholm. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. The food was excellent so much so that I forced down a dessert to complement my first two course. I highly recommend the salted salmon - to be honest, I doubt there is anything on the menu which wouldn't impress. I highly recommend this restaurant - it caters for all budgets.

We really enjoyed our meal. If I would have rated it the night if I might have given it a 5, but we have been to many great places since which changes my rating to very good instead of excellent. We all enjoyed our meals so not a bad choice, but if you are looking for something really spectacular you might want to try out some other spots. That being said we really loved the chèvre beet salad.

Came here for dinner when I was in Stockholm, and it was a very authentic, old-school restaurant that serves classics. The food is very reasonably price, and the portions are very large. I had two different dishes, the potatoes with fish caviar, which was very good, and the shrimp toast, which had a bit too much mayo and felt heavy, and a glass of wine. All together the total came out to a very affordable price. The restaurant has a pretty outdoor seating area too. Worth a visit.

Service was seriously slow. Meatball was very tasty and the portion was satisfying. One of the male waiter -wearing glasses- asked me a very rude question like "Who seated you at this table?" This approach was pretty disrespectful. I told the waitress, who was a lady, that I could get up and can sit another table and she was extremely polite. I gave 3 stars because the food was delicious, otherwise I should have given 2 stars because of the disrespectful attitude of the waiter.

The best pickled herring platter I had in Stockholm. All of them delicious. Even though it was a starter the portion was huge. Loved it. The pan fried herring and the meatballs were great as well. We were the only English speaking people when having lunch. All the rest were Swedish people.

Recommended by one French couple who are living in Stockholm. Turned out it’s really good and authentic Swedish food with a lot of drinks to match with your food. We ordered the meatballs and steak which are both tasting good! Especially the meatballs which mostly had been eaten by my 2.5 years old daughter who is not a big fan of normal meatballs.

Came recommended by my local guide and really didn't disappoint! A short walk from Gamla stan, both the fish and beef dishes were absolutely delish! Dispute a full house on a Monday afternoon, they service was fast. Beer on tap had several varieties of lager and IPAs, all locally brewed. Did I forget to mention they have a free salad bar as well? One of my favorite meals in Sweden!

Found a good pub for lunch while walking around the city during the summer. The location is near the water, however, there was a large construction going on in front of the restaurant so sitting outside was loud. The restaurant has been around for 30 years so it has a lot of history inside. Bla Dorren meaning "the blue door". The interior is a pub so the interior is made out of lots of wood. The servers were friendly & accommodating. The food was good. We ordered hamburger, small salad & beet salad. The food overall was good. Maybe next time the construction outside will be completed.

A very satisfying meal and now I can cross-off meatballs on my Swedish To Do list!

We were looking for authentic Swedish food upon our arrival in Stockholm. The waitress was super friendly and helpful recommending us the dishes - which seemed to be Swedish. She even taught us some Swedish words. My initial worries of a tourist trap changed after I noticed that also locals were having dinner there. I definitely recommend this place for a Swedish dinner if you only stay in Stockholm.

Small set menu but good range of options and price included soft drink, salad bar and tea/coffee. It was exceptional value and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended and will definitely be going back.
