The Berns Hotel is one of the best hotels in town with full of luxury. You will find the best suites here to stay. The views from this are also nice. You can stay here for more and more weeks. The food is also good and maintains all safety and hygiene. Here you can find different cuisines to eat. You can enjoy dining here. A complimentary breakfast is served here. You can find the Night club at this hotel which is remarkable. 9 out of 10 marks given to this hotel. Thank you team. And all the best

Difficult to rate this hotel. Some great positives but also a few negatives. Positives: Lovely looking hotel, great dinning room. Great position in city - close to water and between 2 lovely parks. Breakfast was lovely - lots of options. And the staff are amazing - friendly and helpful Negatives: Bedrooms can be very small. No air-con in rooms, which was a real problem for us as the weather was unbearably hot during the day and into the night making sleep virtually impossible. Also be aware that the hotel has a night club attached and the noise from it can be heard through the night into the early hours.

Fantastic hotel with perfect location, you could reach by feet to most of Central sightseeing places. It has wonderful restaurant on the first floor, very highly recommended. Rooms are comfortable, nice voice isolation, clean and cozy. Breakfasts are very good too

The hotel was good and the service was excellent... Except for the room itself. For the price paid it was extremely small and very hot. The older rooms need to be updated to match the rest of the beautiful hotel. The attached restaurant is nice and the staff is lovely. However, I simply can't reconcile the price paid with the room itself.

This classic hotel **** with a modern twist is a 5 star for me. Staff is so friendly and was upgraded to an executive room. Food and wine list is impressive and fully complete. The Asian kitchen is so tasty and positive different that I highly recommend this place. I’m a fan. The outstanding one of a kind “hall” is multi functional for a restaurant and club as well. Keep up the great work people.

Perfect and central location. With a room not facing the street, there was almist no noise at all. Wonderful! The room was a bit cold (stayed during winter), but extra radiators were delivered and then it was perfect. Bathroom was great with dimming lights, perfect shower pressure, quick switch between warm and cold water in the sink etc. Breakfast buffet was a bit minimalistic for my personal preference, especially as I gave dietary restrictions, but I was able to enjoy a nice breakfast every day. Staff was very nice and polite. I wouldn't mind staying there again.

All great, I stayed in 2 rooms due to my cancellations (flights disruptions). I don't give 5 stars because the restaurant, although beautiful as hell, was awfully slow and the waiters not very professional. Food was average, the sweets were amazing!

A modern and classy hotel right on the centre of Stockholm. Super nice front desk people and an Asian restaurant very very tasty!! We were spoiled by the staff during the whole stay! Some mini mini mistakes but the staff is so kind that, at the end, I don’t care! Room 606 is a blast!

Its a good place for a party but as a business traveller I prefer other hotels in Stockholm. Super noisy, not good service and be aware they have “summer” hours which means no breakfast till 7. Breakfast is lean but good. The personnel are snide if you speak Swedish, but not if you speak English as an interesting observation! And they dont answer at reception if you call...

Great location, great staff super friendly and helpful. But this hotel is also a nightclub! And the loud music continues to 4 AM! We shut the windows even though it was warm and still there was a vibration coming through the building itself, a constant pounding. Impossible to sleep. Create a hotel. Create a nightclub. But not both in the same building! Who does that?

This review is for the club - many people were refused entrance for no apparent reason; we were required to pay 200 SEK each to get in. Inside it was so packed with people that you couldn't find a spot to dance in. Horrible, expensive place filled with arrogant plastic people. Avoid at all costs.

Berns is a beautiful hotel, and you will feel like you are living in the lap of luxury from the moment you enter. The bar was excellent, and we all enjoyed sampling the different cocktails. The staff were universally friendly and helpful. However there were two issues that detracted from our experience. The first is a minor complaint: the hotel gym is quite small and very limited in terms of equipment. Normally I don't expect much from a hotel gym, but having just stayed at a much cheaper hotel in Stockholm with a better gym this stood out. Even with one other person in the room, it was almost too cramped to work out. There also weren't sufficient weights for the single bench press to get a decent workout (upper limit was ~60kg if I recall correctly). This was surprising given how nice the rest of the hotel was. The other issue was more bothersome: despite being on the 3rd floor, our room got very loud at night from the nightclub downstairs. At 3:30am my partner and I were woken up by the throbbing bass, and it was nearly impossible to fall back asleep afterward. This might only be an issue in certain areas of the hotel (we were room 330 I think), but I couldn't help being reminded of some hostel stays from my backpacking days which I thought I had left behind me. Overall it was still a pleasant experience, and if you are looking for a fashionable place to stay, Berns is probably what you are looking for. But if you want a peaceful night's sleep I recommend asking for a room on the opposite end of the building from the nightclub.

Good but for the money was expecting a little more. The building is gorgeous, the dining hall is amazing (really lovely). The buffet breakfast had a good enough range of options and after 3 days we were still enjoying it. The location is central so a convenient place to explore Stockholm on foot. Service was also good across front desk, in-room and dining hall. No complaints at all with service. The main negative was the room itself which was generally a bit “tired”. As a family of 4 we had no option but to rent two rooms. Both rooms had things in them that were broken. The couch in one room was heavily stained and really a bit nasty. There was little in-room information and only available on TV. Tried to order room service via QR code (mobile app) but that returned an error message. After several calls to front desk they took order over phone. Not a big deal in real terms but again, just expected things to work a bit better. If they fix a few things the overall experience will be better. Especially fix up broken bits in the rooms.

The night club looks like a train travel from India to Bangladesh. It's not possible to stand up and walk and even breathe.. We couldn't buy drink or go to wc because it was not possible pass the crowd. And we paid 500 kron for 2 person just for go in. Literally they took money for nothing. It's not acceptable take money from everyone and send them in like animals. Should be limit for people. We was there just 30 minutes, we stacked one corner during this time. If someone have problem with breathing he/she can not go out before 10 minutes without pushing, so he/she probably will die. When i called before we go for get more information they didn't answer. I think they cheat on people that way. If it was possible giving 0 star, i could give it with pleasure.

I recently visited Hotel Berns, and I must say it was a delightful experience. First and foremost, the location of Hotel Berns is unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Stockholm, it allowed me to easily explore the city's iconic attractions, restaurants, and shops, all within walking distance. The hotel's historical building added a touch of charm and character to my stay. It's evident that they've preserved its heritage while providing modern amenities. While the rooms may be on the smaller side, the cozy atmosphere and the spectacular views more than make up for it. Waking up to breathtaking vistas of Stockholm was a highlight of my stay. The staff at Hotel Berns were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome and ensuring my needs were met throughout my stay. If you're looking for a centrally located hotel with a touch of history, cozy rooms, and unforgettable views, I highly recommend Hotel Berns for your stay in Stockholm. It's a unique gem that captures the essence of this beautiful city.

What a unique hotel! Beautiful restaurant setting and great views. The location couldn’t be better as most things we saw were within a 5-15 minute walk (excluding one 25 minute walk to the Vassa Museum). The hotel staff was very helpful, kind, and professional. Our room was clean and very cozy. The bathroom was a bit awkward to navigate as it’s tiny and the shower was hard to maneuver without flooding the floor.

If you like guys drilling in concrete above your head, it's the place for you. Unfortunately, the hotel is during the renovation process and is only partly open. They start the renovation job at 7 in the morning and finish at 5 every day I stay in this place. You cannot rest a minute during day time. Apart from that, service is OK, rooms are clean and the food excellent. Just wait until they finish it because at the moment it's not four stars hotel.

Good hotel but not matching the price tag. Entrance ok and staff kind but not that friendly. Stairs plain dirty (we noticed lots of dust and a blueberry the afternoon we arrived and found it there the late morning after when we left). Dining/Breakfast hall very nice and food delicious and tasty but not enough attention to the corona restrictions. Bedroom with some view but very dirty curtains. Mattress not very comfortable and you leave with the feeling that they could have done better with a bit of renovation works in the room and the bathroom.

Perfect location. We were there for a concert so we had no problem with the noise during the event. Our room was tiny (but that was already known-we chose that room). The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Nice experience overall.

We stayed there for 3 nights, in the superior spacious room. It's very small and raerly I've seen such an unmodern decoration in the rooms. It really didn't reflect to the image of the rest of the hotel, and the rooms were really cold cause the heather didn't work. The Hotel is on a very nice location, the breakfast room and the restaurant is very beautiful. The breakfast is just Ok, nothing more than the basics. The service is ok, Just hello good bye, nothing more. Resume, the hotel don't match the image they are sending out. You can find much better hotels in stockholm for the same price or less.

Staff was amazing! Hotel is clean , quaint but modern. Room was nice, deepest tube I can remember that wasn't a spa tube in a hotel. Breakfast buffet was only average , no omelette station for such nice place a bit disappointing. Mini bar wAs outrageous price wise! No excuse for 58 euro for a half bottle of wine. Other than that quite a nice hotel. Again staff was very nice !

Do not get the standard room. Nothing prepared us for just how small it was. If you're overnighting from somewhere else on Europe and only have a backpack then maybe it'll work, but we had 2 full sized luggages and it simply didn't fit in the room. For the rate that was charged I would've stayed somewhere else, or upgraded to a nicer room. Our room was quite dated (early 2000's vibes) and only the bathroom was nice. Don't expect any views other than your neighbors. Staff was nice and the restaurant was fantastic. I only wish the design language of the restaurant carried through to the rooms. The nightclub music is real. We were on the 4th floor facing the inside court and could still hear it quite clearly. Do not stay on the weekends or warm weather where you'll need the windows open.

  • 3/5 Christian S. 8 months ago on Google

The only thing keeping me from giving this hotel five stars is the fact that it also has a nightclub on property that blasts music late into the night on the weekends. I’m not sure if it is the case in every room, but it was loud enough to wake me up in mine. Otherwise it is a fantastic hotel with friendly and helpful staff, beautiful rooms, and a hip vibe that incorporates the interesting history of the building it is in.

Loved everything, the whole experience was incredible from start to finish. The breakfast was outstanding every single day and the 1-hour SPA that was included in the price of the room was outstanding, honestly, the best hotel we've ever stayed in. Visit the ASIAN Restaurant downstairs for insane food and make sure you stop off at the bar for some of the friendliest staff I've ever met who made some of the most delicious drinks of the whole TRIP!

Berns offered an experience that far exceeded my expectations. It all started with Julia and she set the tone for the duration of our stay. I don’t remember sharing my name with her, but she was sure to include it in our personalized post-check out email — attention to detail at its finest. Julia definitely made my Berns stay memorable.

We do not recommend anyone to book their stay at Berns Historical Boutique Hotel. This is why. We booked our stay with the intention to celebrate a birthday. The booking was named “Spacious Superior with 1h Private SPA” and included a room with view towards the inner garden, combined shower and bath tub as well as 1 hr spa which made up most of the price. Upon arrival we were told that the spa was full and that we had been “given the opportunity” to book the spa beforehand, apparently an e-mail had been sent out about this. However, no e-mail whatsoever was shared with us and we were explained that there had been a technical mistake by a 3rd party. Next, the room was located toward a wall so we were definitely not looking at the inner garden. On top of that our room only had a shower. After complaining for a while and by ending up having to show the front desk officer what was included in our booking, she finally agreed to give us a room with a bath tub. The room was very spacious, indeed, but that was not something we requested. Only to get a bath tub, better view and our 1 hr spa. We got the bath tub and some extra non-demanded space, but same view and no spa. Upon checking out I asked for compensation due to the fact that the actual stay didn’t meet what was expected from our booking. The front desk officer, among other absurd arguments, then replied that “You should see it from my perspective” and “My manager will not be happy about me upgrading you to that spacious room”. Irrelevant. The front desk officer sure did her best to switch our room to one with at least a bath tub and arranged for a restaurant table, we were thankful for that but unfortunately we didn’t get what we booked. The “Spacious Superior with 1 h SPA” was at the end of the dag a hotel stay, nothing less nothing more, no compensation given and sadly unfair treatment.

Cool boutique hotel with great food and amenities. Rooms are super comfy, but tight by American standards. That doesn't mean they are bad, just that if you don't have experience with European hotel rooms, you may be disappointed. Breakfast was a highpoint, and drinks at Asiatiska were not far behind. Outside seating having drinks or food was always a treat. Seth at the front desk was a complete asset to have there and did a110% great job for us in everything.

Breakfast buffe at Berns was delicious! Wish they could have some more fruits though: blueberry, strawberry, bananas. Loved my stay during 3 days

Had a great stay. The breakfast was good, but not extra ordinary compared to other standard hotel breakfasts. + Comfortable bed + Luxury interior + Location + Kind people working here + Spa, gym, padel available + Many services available (turn down service, late checkout until 18.00 for free if the room is available) + Many things provided in the room (bath robe, slippers, sewing kit, toothbrush etc) + Nespresso maschine in the room + Quiet, surprised to not hear any sound from outside. - Some, not fully clean details (stain on sofa, the coffee cups in the room, some plates at breakfast) - would have been nice with the mirror at the entrance rather than close to bed.

  • 2/5 Matt S. 2 years ago on Google
It's a nightclub with several rooms with perfectly fine house music. That's why it's 2 stars rather 1. Cost 385kr just to get in. Drinks were absurdly expensive. Broken glass and confetti all over the floor. Too many unpleasant drunk/high people just making the experience even worse.

This hotel is centrally located. They provide an excellent breakfast and the asian restaurant for lunch and dinner is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable; however, there is a night club on premises used for special events and weekends. If you want to sleep before 2 or 4 AM be certain to bring ear plugs for the music vibrations throughout the hotel.

  • 1/5 Jen L. 1 year ago on Google
Wish I had reviewed the hotel before booking. I’m in Stockholm for work for one evening - a Monday evening, to be clear. But the loud music is impossible to sleep through. I also dined at the hotel’s restaurant which is next to the club and as much as I tried to ignore it, the music thumping through the floor and wall at 8pm at dinner is pretty difficult to ignore.

Hotel was centrally located, with parking a block away (reserved in advance). All the spots to hit were within walking distance from the location. Room was clean and staff were friendly. View from the balcony was great. Gym facilities and outdoor area were clean as well. In addition, there is a game room and laundry on site as well.

There's no place better located in Stockholm than the Bern's! The house itself: nice design, great concept as hotel + event location, nice and friendly service, food and breakfast are top. One thing: in this categorie a bottle of water in your room should be standard. Unfortunately there was none, not even the first day. Besides that, total satisfaction ! 👍

I was really disappointed. The room is extremely small and hot with no air conditioning. The phone to call reception wasn’t working so you had to go down to reception if you needed something or to order room service and the streaming services on the TV wasn’t working. The staff’s problem solving was to offer me another room with worst views but a phone that works (lucky me). There’s no doubt that this hotel looks pretty on the website and attracts people with its restaurant but it’s misleading. There’s no rooftop terrace anymore, the gym is an underground tiny room with holes in the walls and roof and the spa is just one of the rooms in the hotel. I had to stay there 7 days for work and I will not be booking here on my next trip and advising colleagues to stay away from it.

The Berns Hotel is a charming hotel in the city center of Stockholm. Very well decorated mixing modern and Mid century style, the team is very kind. Breakfast has multiple choices, bedding is comfortable ( pillow a bit too soft ). Room very clean, I would have appreciated a bathrobe but all the rest was good.

We stayed her for one night as it was a very lastminute trip. We accidentally booked for one person instead of two. The staff at the hotel was very friendly about it and we just had to pay extra for the breakfast. Which was well worth it, because damn, one of the best hotel buffet breakfasts I've ever had! Location is great, near the citycenter and public transport.

My wife and I had a lovely one-night stay earlier this month (March 2022) and must say it was a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic and the breakfast was truly high-class, approaching 5-star hotel quality. Most of all, we wish to convey my utmost thanks to the staff, who were extremely kind , so much so that they offered us to use the private spa (with a jacuzzi) on the house with compliments. We definitely recommend it and will consider coming again!

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms. Small in comparison, but very well apportioned. Beautiful dining and food. Breakfast was amazing. Well located central to all the main areas. Trams well available to take you to the main centres. Can't find any faults, well worth the price (which is not cheap).
