I was looking for an affordable hotel where I could stay for more than a week in Stockholm for a business trip. I did not expect much from this Comfort Hotel Express as it was cheaper than other hotels in the area. However, the room was very clean, access was excellent, and above all, the staff were incredibly kind. I remember a female staff member named Sumiya. I had lost my gloves, but she helped me look for them. She was also very diligent in her work for the guests. My team and I would like to stay at this hotel again, where staff like her work. The only point of improvement for this hotel is that the effectiveness of the heating varies from room to room. The first room I stayed in was a bit cold, and the room I stayed in the second time was very warm. However, I am very satisfied overall!"

Location is perfect if you come from the Arlanda Airport. The room is ok, not more than that because are very small, not so much space for the luggage. It was a bit coldish. But, overall was nice. There are different spots from were you can work with the laptop and the staff at the reception is very helpful.

First of all, it‘s really hard to find the entrance. If you walk close to the hotel, you can‘t see the bigger sign up high but only the small one right above the door. See it in my photos. Then, I booked an economy double room, 12m2. But I‘m quite sure it‘s much smaller. If you put a suitcase on the floor, it‘s hard to move around. I also found multiple long black hairs on my bed, which isn‘t that nice either. And finally, you can feel light vibrations of the trains running next to or underneath the hotel. But it‘s not too bad.

Modern hotel, with lots of rooms. Central station is a very short walk away. The shared areas looked very modern, neat and tidy. There was a bar where you could grab some drinks/cocktails/coffee. They also had a fridge with some sandwiches and other small snacks for sale. Our room was super basic and small bit given we were only staying one night this was not a issue at all. The bathroom seemed very clean which I appreciated. We did not have a window but as we just stayed one night this was fine. Cleaning crew got busy early and seemed to be doing a thorough job from what we saw walking by. Staff were nice and helpful. Would recommend for a short stay.

Horrible experience. We booked standart double room, which was the most expensive option at this hotel, but we got a locker sized room, which had had windows to the inside of the building and which could not be opened. There's zero ventilation and no air conditioning, so that in addition to windows that can't be opened result in an atmosphere where it's simply hard to breathe and way too hot to sleep. The marketing photos are just plain lie, because it doesn't showcase the real situation.

I would not recommend the hotel. The rooms are way too small, there aren’t any windows and ventilation system or whatsoever in the rooms. The only good thing is the location, so you could leave the hotel as soon as possible and find a nice spot

A nice, conveniently located room above the Arlanda Express, and very close to everything in Stockholm. Wifi connection in the building is terrible, constantly drops out. Didn't realise there were extra towels and blankets under the bed until the last day. Non-window rooms are not the most pleasant atmosphere (and illegal in some countries), but all in all a nice place to stay

Room is quite spacious but no window. Overall room and toilet is clean. The bed is comfortable. So far so good. Near to train station and bus to Arlanda Airport. Close to everything

It’s a great place for a quick night of stay—short walking distance to the central bus / train / city bus station. Easy self check-in and check-out. I don’t recommend bringing a suitcase to the no-window rooms due to limited space. The bathroom was clean my only issue is the headboard—a little maintenance could be done.

The location is very good. The rooms are tiny and some don't even have windows. The water in the sink didn't run out properly which made the sink disgusting quickly. Cleaning personnel came in on my last day before I had checked out. Generally I find it odd to say they don't clean that often "for the environment" but then you can't turn off the AC..

Loved this place. The location is amazing. Literally around the corner from the central train station and bus terminal, both of which we used. It's in the center of town and there are tons of shopping and cafes and things to do nearby. It's walking distance to the palace and the old town as well. The hotel itself is nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They let us check in early and helped us open the electronic doors when we couldn't on Sabbath. The rooms were lovely. There was no light in the bathroom, just semi transparent windows, which was a little odd, but I think Europeans are used to less light than Americans. They have a nice lounge area downstairs and food, which we didn't use.

Tiny rooms, basic facilities but clean and reasonably comfortable. Don't plan on eating there. There's a menu of a few basic items, but none were available when I asked. Eventually I asked what do you have? Only thing I was offered wasn't on the menu! I then asked for a draught beer. Sorry, no draught beer even though there was a tap.

Theft, although the booking is made through Booking, the hotel pulls the money immediately after the online ceck-in. It's somehow a way to get around Booking's fees. Strictly check-in and check-out Minimalist cleanliness. Hotel does not provide receipts.

Tiny rooms but I guess you get what you pay for, they didn't make our room one day so not the freshest experience. The carpets in the hallways are dirty and the reception is tiny. The staff was nice though and accomodating. For a central Stockholm room for a reasonable price it was good.

Stay away from this hotel at any cost. Bugs in the room, dirt on walls and under the bed. We got promised a cancellation and full refund as a result, but they are now holding the funds until they can find bugs for themselves, despite us showing them documentation. On top of all this they double charged our card.

This hotel is nothing fancy. It has small (definitely smaller than average), clean, comfortable rooms with a nice washroom. Its strength lies in its location and price. The hotel is smack down in the centrum of Stockholm so this is a great base to start exploring. It’s located right by the central station with access to buses, trains and the metro, so it makes getting around the city, and to and from the airport very simple. The price is also a key selling point, the hotel was significantly cheaper than any other hotel that I’ve seen in the area which was a plus. I get to Stockholm every once in a while due to work, and I will definitely stay here again.

Standard hotel- nothing special. Self check in and checkout so didn’t talk to anyone. Unfortunately we booked a room without any windows which was not a great surprise. Probably would’ve been a better experience with a window.

Nice hotel next to bus and railway stations, very central. The service at bar reception was nice and friendly. The room was really small though, and a bit worn out at places, for example the fake leather at the head board of the bed. There was no window in the room so no view but it was very quiet even though it's over the central railway station in city centre.

Great location, right next to Central Station. Unfortunately, other than rooms being quite small, the comfort of the beds is quite bad. The spring mattresses are extremely worn out, and they provide no back support. After couple of days we were in pain. We asked for a different room, but the result was the same. On top of that, we also noticed the rooms are not the cleanest. The breakfast deal requires quite of an attention before paying - 3 different days, 3 different prices (the last day we got less food and we paid the most). Either they say coffee is included, or not… quite confusing.

Location is good, just above airport express station Rooms not good & convenient for business stays. No suitable electric points, No cup board & iron board, no desk phone to contact reception & No toiletry items will be given So strict in check in & check out time Breakfast is too minimal ( only 3 items to be picked from shelf) Hotel don't give printed receipts

Central location and very easy for transport connections but rooms are small, not well equipped (2 hangers and no wardrobe, beds very uncomfortable with ill fitting sheets) and although we were prepared for the fact we had no window it was disappointing we couldn't alter a/C in the room meaning poor ventilation.

Very small room. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Located right above Arlanda airport Express train station.

We stayed here for one night. This is a no frills hotel - meaning, no free breakfast, no mini bar, not even a kettle. We took care to book a room with windows, but it's very small and oddly facing the lift lobby, so we couldn't leave the curtains open anyway. The bed was average, but we slept very well. The shower pressure was very good, which was something we desperately needed after a few days of camping... We paid CHF88 for one night, and it frankly isn't overtly expensive given the rather perfect location. The hotel pretty much "attached" to the bus terminal and airport express station. I would recommend if you only need to crash a night or two.

Me and my family just came back from Tel Aviv in the middle of the night. We could not find any hotel taking in People next to the central station. We found comfort hotel and the lady at the counter was amazing and helped us book our room.

You get what you pay for, but being 198 cm tall in a 200 cm bed that is wedged in between walls is no fun. If you're tall - avoid this hotel.

Very close to the Arlanda Express station to/from the airport. There is an elevator at the end of the platform towards the Kungsbron St which would take you to street level next to the hotel entrance. There is no direct access from the central station, the entrance is along Kungsbron. Hotel room is a bit small, there is no clothes closet and a bit cramped if you have more than one luggage. Rooms are clean.

Adjacent to Central Station and the Arlanda Express, right in the centre of Stockholm. Rooms are clean but basic, but the beds are incredibly comfortable! It's great for sightseeing. The staff are awesome! We'd been travelling for about 12 hours when we arrived and I'd had enough. There's a an easy to use self check in system that I got stressed with and staff just did it for me with a smile and no issues. Thank you!!

The small rooms are really really tiny for 2 people. We are small people. Yet we literally rub backsides to navigate around the room and the toilet. No space! We had to pay to upgrade to a larger room. The accommodation is basic and functional. This hotel is simply to sleep for the night and leave during the daytime. No lingering around.

The location is perfect, situated next to the train station. The staff is friendly and allowed early check-in. We had a room with no window, which was an interesting experience! The room was clean and more spacious that we anticipated. The only tip we have is to add some other small lighting so that it isn't completely dark when you have to navigate to the bathroom.

Excellent stay at this hotel. It is situated perfectly, close by to everything and right in the centre. The hotel is modern, and rooms are spacious with plenty of room. The view was great, and we could see right down the road where the casino is.

We stayed two nights twice in one month. We enjoyed our second stay better than our first. We had a room with no window allowing us to sleep better. I don't understand why it has only a 3star rating.

  • 5/5 Heather H. 1 year ago on Google
The room was clean and had a bed and a bathroom, but it was easily the smallest room i have ever seen, like the bed touched the wall on three sides. Had to put the chair into the hall so we would have a place to put our luggage, and the stroller wouldnt even fit in the room. For two adults and a baby, not ideal 😅

Our room was small but had what we needed. Location is great. Basically on top of the main train station. It's near downtown and old town. Excellent option

The location is great but as repeatedly said in earlier reviews the rooms are tiiiiiny! The curtain did not cover the entire window so needed to sleep with the neighbours in the next door building look straight in to my room. It was very noisy though out the night. Lots of baninging in doors and at some points I thought someone tried to open my room. Thank good I got a upgrade to a room with window, a room without a window would feel like a shoebox.

This is my favourite hotel in Stockholm. I have stayed here probably at least 10 times in my stopovers in Stockholm. It is cheap (by Stockholm prices) and the location is perfect. The rooms are small but have everything one needs for a short stay (make sure to get a room with a window). People who are whining about this hotel should reflect more about the price-quality ratio concept.

No hot water, very small room, hair in sink? Reception is nice.

  • 1/5 Tim A. 2 years ago on Google
First of all, no free parking. If you're here with the car, expect 300kr a day for parking extra. And now to the main thing. After checking in and entering our room, it was still in use. We got a room assigned that a person was still using, all their stuff was laying around. Going back to the reception all we got to hear was that that shouldn't happen. NO OF COURSE IT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN. Makes me wonder if somebody is going to come into out room anytime, because they got it assigned because of some system ERRORS. Worst thing a hotel can do. Strangers going in other people's rooms. And no adequate compensation offered, no refund either. Also the room is dusty and kind of dirty. UNSAFE. DIRTY. DON'T GO HERE

  • 4/5 Flore L. 1 year ago on Google
Clean, agents at the reception were nice and friendly, the room was a bit small for the price. However would 100% for the location! You can almost do everything by feet in Stockholm from there! Perfect to visit for a few days !!

Heater could be stronger, otherwise it has exceeded my expectation for a mid range hotel with such a central location right behind the bus terminal, spacious room, comfortable bedding, strong shower and fast wifi. Very efficient automated check-in too.

If you are in the market for a comfortable and central budget hotel in Stockholm, then the Comfort hotell stockholm becomes a good choice. It is located on the side of Cityterminalen which hosts bus traffic and the Arlanda express, no more than 40 steps away, and the central station is on the other end of the complex. You are moments away from shopping, restaurants and museums, yet it is nice and quiet inside the hotel. The rooms are small and compact but very functional, with lots of power points and storage space. Some rooms doesn't have windows but the price is reflecting that be you still have good lighting and a nice layout. The breakfast is extensive with a nice Scandinavian touch, and you have a nice bar and lobby to sit and wind down in. A bonus is direct access to the town!

I stayed at this property early February for two nights. The hotel is located quite close to the Central Train Station, but is even closer to Arlanda Express (there is an exit literally next door) and to the bus terminal (Cityterminalen). The rooms are tiny, but they did a great job maximizing the space. For example there is a little desk that folds down and the most comfortable folding chair, I've ever seen. However the interior is showing its age and it is in a bit of need of a refresh. The bed was particularly uncomfortable, which is a bit of a shame. While most Comfort Hotels would offer breakfast, this Xpress will only offer a paid breakfast for 95 SEK, but it isn't a buffet, so I think you can do better. Overall this hotel is well located, if you don't mind small. aged interior and uncomfortable bed, mean this isn't a four star, but only three. but those are three very good stars :)

+ Good location. Very central, near to the train station. + Not expensive - No fridge (It was the first time I stayed in a hotel that has no fridge in the room). - No kettle (We could get hot water in the reception). - Very small room - Small bathroom - Dusty room - The room was not cleaned at all during our one week stay there. When we asked why, we were told that it was because of the pandemic. We could just put our rubbish bags in front of the room and they would take them. They should have told us about it when we checked in or put the information in the room. We could however ask for new bedsheet and pillows cover, and replace them ourselves. What I like the best about the hotel is the location.

  • 2/5 trif t. 1 year ago on Google
Staff is great. Location is great. But price is not everything. the fact that Stockholm is expensive does not make this a great hotel. It just makes it affordable. Unfortunately the size of the rooms and the lack of windows is unbearable. if you book the room and visit a lot there is no problem, but otherwise don’t expect much. i had the same room another user had 5-6 months ago and i see the head bed problem is still not solved.
