VERY RECOMMENDED! Staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect and very special. The staff were extremely helpful, very friendly and kind, always smiling and welcoming. The cleanliness in the whole hotel was tip top, the rooms really nice and comfortable. The restaurant service was great, and the food was very tasty. I was expecting a normal usa courtyard but boy was I wrong. Had a written note from the manager waiting for me in the room and the place was immaculate. Not one thing out of place. Elias was quick and to the point in check in while training the gorgeous Ebba. Great team and great hotel. By the way, try AB restaurant down the street if Björk restaurant in the hotel is closed. Amazing food and service within Sweden!

A very well-organized hotel. An excellent location as a point of visit in Stockholm. Bolt or Uber can get you to the Historic Center in 10 minutes, which is a must-visit. A superb city-view from the upper floors. Breakfast with many traditional dishes in addition to the classic options you'd expect from this kind of hotel. Very friendly and well-intentioned staff.

Textbook hotel! Firstly I want to say thank you to the amazing staff that has been so kind and helpful during our stay here, we really felt at home! The room was very nice, with a very comfortable bed and a good bathroom. Next to this the hotel also has an extensive gym with lots of space & a sauna, which was a nice bonus. There is also a huge lounge area with comfortable couches which is a nice place to relax for a bit. The breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast and had everything we needed to start the day fresh. It's a nice touch they had HP sauce for our bacon & sausages. Overall I would highly recommend this place, it isn't too expensive as the location is not within the city center, but you can get there within 20 minutes so that's fine. Will definitely come back here next time in Stockholm!

I was surprised to find a hotel in Stockholm in close distance of the city center, more than 10 square meter, with window and a desk for 100€ and less. In the end I know why: -reception is awfully slow and not up to requirements for business stays -mattress is very old and used -bad smell in the room and nothing you can do about it as windows do not open -Internet is very slow speed - to get better Internet you need to pay 15€ a day ... that was standard 5-10 years ago but not in 2021 -one night we had a dog barking in a room next door. It was impossible to sleep and the reception didn’t help -another evening we had a question for the reception - after waiting for 10 minutes for the staff to finish smoking we could ask our question: where exactly is the bus stop for the airport bus? (It is advertised on the website of the flight bus that there is the stop closely by the hotel). The answer was you need to go the city center. We had already found the stop by the metro 10 min from the hotel which is much closer than city centre ... -2 towels not clean -and worst of all - when settling the invoice I was charged twice. I discussed that it said approved the first time already but they instructed me to do it again. Good believing I was I did it. When I ask what I should do if I see it charged twice they said they are going to check because this just happened to the client at the other counter too. Asking for more details they got very confused and admitted that they don’t have a clue because it is a new system. After discussing for few minutes, I finally got refunded directly at the counter, which was said before is not possible. I am still very mad because I will have charges from my bank twice (my bank is not in sek) and not sure I’ll ever see them back.

Avoid this hotel if possible. Our experience was not as good as we hoped for. My family stayed there for 5 nights. Upon checking into their room, they were struck by the cold temperature within. Despite adjusting the thermostat, it remained uncomfortably chilly throughout their stay. When I contacted your front desk to address this issue, we were told that someone from maintenance would stop by to take a look at it, but this never happened and they were disappointed to receive only a pair of blankets as a solution during their whole stay. Another issue had to do with the room cleaning. For instance, the floor was dirty, the amenities in the bathroom, such as body milk, were not adequately replaced, same as the towels which were left by the bathtub, leaving them inconvenienced during the stay. I asked twice at the reception to talk to the hotel manager and have a chance to express our concerns. I didn't manage to get to talk to him. They told me he was busy .... So I left him my number and even wrote an email. 2 weeks have passed now and we haven't got a response yet. I guess he is really busy to care for their customers well-being. As said, I would personally not recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, fast check-in and check-out. Clean room with all required amenities, nothing broken, all very modern. Bed comfortable. Temperature controls flimsy, therefore room rather cold. Barely any vegan options at breakfast. In total I would book again.

I still cannot understand why all hotels cannot be like this. Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel is well located in a neighbourhood west of the center of Stockholm. Walking distance to a large commercial area with a Metro station. Very organized hotel, provides guidance on when are the busiest times for breakfast. Good buffet offering and attentive staff in the restaurant.

When I arrived Stockholm for th irate time I thought it was far away from the center! Very wrong…it is in a perfect location,very close to the sea and in metro station! You can stroll, eat and drink in this wonderful calm and so Swedish neighborhood! Very pleasant surprise. Also the restaurant and bar at ground floor has some very not Swedish prices at all! You can drink and eat without spending a fortune!!I really enjoyed it!

Room was a standard hotel room, comfortable, clean and nothing wrong with it. However, staff are so nice and friendly. Restaurant, food (dinner) was wonderful 👌 Bar, nice cocktails and suggest trying the Cash Flow or get the raspberry lemonade Mock-tail but add some Gin to it 😎🍻. Good hotel

This hotel is wonderful. Well placed in regards to transit to take you anywhere else but not far away from anything either. The hotel staff are lovely, special thanks to Karin and Sebastian who were very welcoming and assisted with everything. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

First time at a Marriot chain hotel. Visited for a 2 nights on a city break weekend. The room was very quiet, so you can get a good night sleep. Mattress was comfy, but not the pillows - too soft and squishy (but this type of pillow is common in Western Europe). I requested foam ones (as I normally sleep on one at home) during my booking, but never got these in the hotel (guess they are limited). Thought I was having breakfast with my standard booking, but was surprised during the check-in... I should have chosen one of the package deals with a weekend free breakfast - my bad for not getting more familiar with the Marriot BonVoy app. Location wise, the hotel is near a park, and a few metro stops from Old town (use the Thoridplan metro station, a) it's closer to the hotel and b) it's one of the funny colorful ones). If the price is right, would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are sometimes dusty. The reception is polite, but sometimes it can refuse to provide, for example, an extra chair. The buffet is very tasty, varied and fresh. The buffet staff are doing a good job. The interior of the hotel is at a high level.

Staff is super friendly, location good and breakfast is nice. But the pillows could have been much better. A little overpriced in general to be honest.

Great Hotel. I have just been there for my second time (the first time 10 years ago) and it's always been a pleasant stay. Rooms are large, modern, clean and service is great. A part of the hotel is currently under renovation right now so it's going to be even better in the future. Breakfast has a nice variety, also the restaurant Bjork Bar and Grill is good. Prices not so expensive. I would definitely come back here. Great experience.

Sehr gutes Hotel für eine Städtereise,in die Altstadt ca 25 min Fußweg am Wasser entlang. Frühstück top👍 Zimmerreinigung war teilweise oberflächlich,an den letzten Tagen wiederum sehr gründlich. Die Zimmer sind hell und freundlich eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hotels ist ruhig. Getränke an der Bar sind teuer, für 2 Aperol umgerechnet ca 25 Euro.

Rooms were standard and clean. A/C did not work well which I’ve found to be common in European hotels. We were given fans that didn’t work when we first asked about the room temperature but eventually did receive a working fan which helped immensely since these rooms have zero air flow and even the fan on the a/c is insufficient. One. Big thing to note that I found completely bizarre…. There are No Phones in the rooms. This means you must have WiFi calling or cell service to contact the front desk for anything or walk down and ask about it yourself. It’s incredibly inconvenient and probably the worst part of our stay just because it made communication more complicated than necessary. It also meant we couldn’t get food delivery after our first travel day since we had no Swedish phone number for the foodora app but that was a small inconvenience. The complementary breakfast was very good and included varied options. Another weird thing to note for your stay this hotel does not provide hand towels or washcloths just large towels and floor towels. Also not a huge deal but if you need a washcloth bring your own. The cleaning staff also took out spare room key that we had left to keep the air running and the room cooler while we were out. No idea why our teenagers room key was left alone so perhaps a mistake.

I was very tired and grouchy when I arrived after a long trip. Staff was so nice and tried very hard to accommodate me. Everything was just as I wished and breakfasts are amazing.

One of the best hotels in Stockholm. Very close to metro station. Cosy and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Amazing buffet breakfast. A big park and waterbody very closeby , amount 5min walk. Recommend this if you want to stay close to central station and yet enjoy nature.

Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel . Etwas außerhalb. Sehr sauber ,kuschelig ,schöne Aussicht. Das gesamte Personal ist zu jeder Tageszeit freundlich und bemüht . Das Hotel ist NICHT hellhörig. Man hat seine Ruhe, die Betten sind bequem . Unten gibt es eine Bar mit Kamin . Das Frühstück lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Perfekt !Wir würden wieder kommen .

When our stay came to an end and after check out we realised that an item of high value was unfortunately forgotten in the room. We called the front desk immediately when we realised that we forgot this valuable item in the room and report it as soon as possible. The staff was not helpful at all. After 24 hours of waiting for a response and more than 5 phone calls on the front desk they finally informed us that this item was not found in the room….We are very disappointed and never going to stay in this hotel again.

Little bit of distance from the city center but it’s walkable. Friendly and knowledgeable bartender - Pedro from Portugal was our best friend at the hotel at all time. He made our stay memorable. If you seek for great cocktails and tourist information, look for Pedro ;)

Great lobby, bar an restaurant. Nice ambient feel, Bose loudspeakers playing chill music. Restaurant menu is very limited though. Breakfast buffet is super and rich. Rooms very Courtyard like. Nothing fancy but clean and functional. Mid level toiletries. Good price/quality range.

This was a awesome short stay in Stockholm. A weekend trip with the family. We ended up spending the day downtown and decided on dinner at the hotel. And it was a good decision, Hat of to the Head waiter. What a awesome person. Overall the staff is very professional and service minded. And also well done mr new guy. First day at a new job doing awesome. The hotel has parking available indoors but very limited. Lobby is nice and open with a ok bar and area for kicking back. Only complaint is the limited beer stash. For a beer nerd it was pretty bland. Rooms are spacious and clean. Same goes for the bathrooms. Allmoast looking new. Comfy bed and soft and hard pillow just like it's supposed to be. Breakfast was splendid nothing to complain about there. Picking staff did a fantastic job and was very friendly. Even going so far as to offer a coffee refill. Well done. Ower all this was a awesome stay, compared to the hotels downtown this is way worth the prise. And to the hotel manager. Relay this to your staff they are amazing.

One of the best places to stay when visiting Stockholm, really enjoyed the stay, reception staff were very helpful and the service minded, the restaurant and the bar were better than expected, and I liked the fact that the hotel is located close to one of Stockholms best parks (Rålambshovsparken)

Stockholm was the first stop of our journey. Very nice hotel. Staff was extremely nice. Location is in a quiet area a couple of miles from the heart of town, but we like walking, so it was not an issue for us. Additionally, we typically avoid hotel restaurants like the plague, but having arrived later in the evening, we had no choice. The kitchen had just closed, but the staff was so accommodating, and offered to cook for us. We were on this trip for three weeks, and our meal was one of the top 2 or 3 we had on the entire trip. Breakfast buffet was also great. Highly recommend staying here.

The size of the room was good. The service was really nice from the front desk and bar staff. The cocktails were tasty and the overall feeling of the hotel was very welcoming. The hotel seemed to have quite a few public bikes and e scooters outside that could be used (e.g. Tier). Its quite a walk to some of the tourist spots but because there is a path through the park across the road and access to mobility solutions like I mentioned, it is still well placed. I would look forward to staying here again.

Whenever you travel, we like to stay only in a Marriott. The reason being, the staff is always helpful and if there's a issue. It's taking care of immediately. One thing I would recommend is that they have a shuttle. But our room was clean, plus the view was great of the city.

The service value is phenomenal! The staff went above and beyond to insure a wonderful stay. From hand written notes and chocolate to catering to kids, this staff went above and beyond every time. The rooms and very comfortable and the breakfast is top notch!

Nice hotel to stay, modern building and friendly staff. There could be more variation in the breakfast. The metro and bus stops are nearby, it takes you in 10 minutes to the old city.

Knowledgeable & friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, dinner, & great bar. Most amazing gym I have ever seen in a hotel. This isn't even all of it. Every piece of equipment imaginable. Within walking distance of great shopping & restaurants.

Quick review: perfect hotel, stay here. The gym exceeds all expectations for hotel gyms. Why? I travel for work, I’ve spent 5 days at home in the last 5 months, average 3-4 days per city. I see a lot of hotels and know what I want from a hotel and this hotel exceeds all my expectations. You walk into the hotel and immediately on the right you have the hotel bar/restaurant, which is amazing (I’ll circle back to this later). You’re greeted by the front desk staff, and they’re all very friendly and efficient so check in/out is easy. You get to your room and ultimately there really isn’t anything special about the rooms, they do the job. If you’re looking for something extra, this might not be it, but if you’re travelling for work or just need an average room, this is it. The water pressure in the shower was better than anything I’ve experienced the last 5 months. But what really got me was the gym. Normally a hotel gym has dumbbells up to 50 lbs (~22.5kg), but not this hotel. I’m the basement there is a full CrossFit setup, 2 flat benches with barbells, squat racks, dumbbells, pulley machines everywhere, a big cardio room with options. I’m not even exaggerating that I’ve belonged to gyms which worse setups. My mind was blown and ultimately this is why I loved this hotel. It was so insanely good and I feel like I got the best workouts here that I’ve had in ages. The bar restaurant is clean and the food and drinks are good.

Sweden isn't known for being affordable, so when you see a hotel for around $100 USD/night you can be a little skeptical. However, this property exceeded expectations on almost every level. The gym is recently renovated. Spacious, modern, and useful for a wide variety of exercise, the new gym can appeal to beginners and experts alike. And the new sauna is a nice tough. The staff, restaurant and lounge area are all top notch. Breakfast was an excellent spread with a variety of options. If there are any negatives it would only be that the rooms themselves could benefit from an upgrade, but we found our room both spacious and comfortable. We would definitely come back.

Nice hotel, pet friendly which is the most important for us. Nice breakfast however there was a queue. They don’t make reservations for the hotel at the reception so you can make it only online. The room and bed were really comfortable. However couldn’t get much help with registering points for our stay. Extra payment for the pet is 250 sek and you have blanket in the room, 2 bowls for food and water and small delicacy.

Great value for Stockholm. Beats the downtown Sheraton in many ways. Staff are all absolutely top notch. So kind and friendly. Beautiful and cosy bar downstairs. Only criticism would be to have more staff at the bar on weekends and some sort of table service for drinks.

This hotel is excellent. The service and desk reception is very kind and friendly. The building, the room, the gym, and the sauna are great. The most I liked most about this hotel is the lobby it's very nice and comfortable to sit and drink and meet your friends. I am 100% satisfied I will come again and again.

Outstanding experience. Not my 1st time neither the last. Every time I visit town, I sleep there. Clean, friendly, bar is good, sauna, restaurant and breakfast is nice. Scandinavian Marriott is the best combination.
