Enjoyed my stay here. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The bed and pillows were comfy, not the traditional north american mattress, yet still comfy. Rooms were tiny (as expected) but efficient and tidy. Because of the location and large single pane windows, you can hear any noise happening in the alley (talking, wheelie suitcases on the cobblestone), but the neighborhood quiets down around 8 or 9 pm, so it wasn't an issue sleeping. It is an older building bit well maintained. Rooms are on the cooler side at night, but I preferred this. There is a nice complementary coffee bar in the lobby (coffee, tea, and a few sweets) where you can hop in for a little warm up and a break during your adventures. Can't beat the location, and the price is affordable considering the convenience and level of quality. If you're looking for something on the little more interesting side, this is it. Would definitely return.

Great location in the heart of the old town in easy walking distance of the Royal Palace. Nautical themed rooms add a air of quirkyness. Staff are multi lingual and very helpful. 24 hour reception is very helpful if your flight gets delayed.

The service, first of all, was excellent. The staff was very helpful and are super dedicated to what they do. The location of the hotel itself is right smack in old-town Stockholm. There are dozens of bars, restaurants, and gift shops less than a block away. There is even a tattoo parlor right around the corner. For food I recommend the taco shop down the street as well as the Kebab House through the tunnel next to the front entrance of the hotel. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The hotel is also filled with memorabilia of Lord Nelson, like paintings and ships. My only complaint is that the rain shower doesn't quite fit into the bathroom and the giant mirror above the sink in our bathroom made it nearly impossible to use.

I recently stayed in a super small room at this hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness. The two twin beds was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. If you're looking for a dungeon or confined space to sleep in, this hotel is a great choice to stay.

This is a hotel that lives on it's location. The rooms are fairly small but comfy. The breakfast has a quite limited selection. The staff is very nice and helpful.

So cozy. The whole hotel is quite narrow and small. The rooms are basically a bit cabinn style size, so small, but In the style of a room on an old boat. The whole hotel is family owned and they've spent years collecting all the items that give it a maritime feel. I loved it. I grew quite attached to my little room which was efficient and contained only what I needed. It felt like "my room" and not just a hotel room. I was there for a conference.

Very pleasant, quirky hotel with a nautical theme. Despite being old fashioned, the rooms were kept very clean and fully stocked. Breakfast was passable with coffees, breads, meats and fresh fruit. Overall I was impressed for the price paid.

Family room is beautifully laid out for a family of 4 with teens. The room gets warm though. We set up the fan to let in cool air as we were in the room before we were sleeping. Front desk staff was awesome.

A small but well formed hotel in a great location. Unique character throughout, the owners have clearly put a lot of time in to collecting the Lord Nelson antiques on display. Service was impeccable and the rooms were clean, I'd definitey recommend staying for a short trip.

I actually enjoyed the room very much for my one night stay. They are going for a sea theme and it really matches the room setup, being located in an old building. Location is perfect. The neighborhood resembles other 18-19th century town centers. Breakfast is ok.

This place has character. It's a small hotel. The rooms are fitted out like a Cabin on a sailing ship. And they are small. But it was comfortable and affordable, clean, hot water, good breakfast.

Lovely unique hotel in heart of Gamla Stan. Prinsess royal is very nice room for a single lady. Highly recommend.

Little hotel with Victorian naval theme. It is a lovely gem ideally situated in the center of old town. Staff is friendly and welcoming.Yes room can be small and aging but that suits the theme very well! Although some fresh paint could do good, it is clean and very enjoyable. I recommend and will come back.

Stayed here for a weekend in Stockholm as a solo traveler - I booked a cabin room. It was definitely tight, with a twin bed and about 3.5 feet extra walking space on the side. It was very cozy, and made good use of the space to include a desk, TV, and a very small closet. The bathroom was clean, shower was cramped but had great water pressure & hot water. 24/7 reception that was really accommodating, they lock the doors at night too so there’s added security. The free breakfast was an added touch, and the location is top notch - right in the heart of Gamla Stan. I was facing the Main Street, and could at times hear passers-by making a commotion early in the morning. It did not bother me, but might be an issue for light sleepers. Great choice as a landing base for someone who was out most of the time.

Absolut ruhig. Sehr nettes Personal. Zimmer relativ klein. Kein besonderes Frühstück, aber den ganzen Tag Kaffee, Tee, Saft- und Gebäckangebot. Tolle Atmosphäre durch antike Seefahrerutensilien, keine große Bettenanzahl. Absolut gemütlich.
