The hotel was lovely and the room was comfortable and clean. There was a mini bar and kettle in the room. My room was an interior room with no window but it was still a nice room. The bed could be adjusted for comfort like a sleep number mattress. The hotel staff were friendly and the amenities were nice(bar and restaurant). The hotel is beautiful as you step into the lobby. The location wasn't bad as you are close to all shopping and restaurants in walking distance. The main tourists areas where the old town and museums are located is about a 15 or 20 min walk. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel if you prefer to catch that straight down to this area. I didn't try the breakfast as I needed to leave early the next day but you need to reserve your breakfast time slot. I would stay here again because it was a lovely hotel.

The woman with green hair was very mean, the way she talks to clients and the way she talked to me, I'm not the only one to say that. All the staff of the hotel are nice besides her, even to ask what can be visited in Stockholm, she did not want to communicate. But the other staff are really helpful. I have always heated my sandwich in the kitchen, because there is no microwave in the hotel, compared to the other Scandic hotels, the last day she came to tell me that this kind of service is not given, hopefully the person in the kitchen was very helpful, it is not my problem if you have only 1 person who works in the kitchen. Compared to the price of the hotel it is necessary to have a quality of service. If you need anything at the hotel, avoid contacting the woman with green hair !!!!

One of the best hotel I stayed in Stockholm. The vibe is unique, room have a great design, I loved it. Breakfast is great, also the restaurant is really good. I tried the gym and it has a unique area with a small garden. I will come back here next time! Thanks!

Location, service and Rooms are amazing! The location couldn't get any more central. You can walk around to most of the attractions around and all the public transport are easily accessible. The breakfast spread is great and they even have an omelette counter. Overall I highly recommend this place.

We only ate breakfast here this time and loved it. Peace and quiet, great buffet, best scrambled eggs and bacon ever. You can have omelette mode on order and it was delicious. Waffle iron, jam and so. Prosecco for those who want. We got a table with window over Hötorget, loved it. Friendly and helpful staff. Next we'll try lunch, Then maybe stay over.

Great location. Cool Art deco rooms and deco. Cozy ambiance at the bar. Great breakfast buffet. Nice and helpful staff. Love the scent of their hand soap, lotion and hair products! I wish I could know the name of the brand and buy it from them.

This hotel has a roaring twenties theme, think the great Gatsby style. Everything from the music to the decor. Checking in and out was smooth and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and everything tasted fresh. The hotel is very centrally located, being close to restaurants, shopping, the concert house and movie theater. Overall, I would strongly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Excellent location! Walked right out on a Saturday morning to the local farmers market. Easy to walk to everything in Stockholm. The front desk and service was extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and the decor of the entire hotel was lively. We had a night cap at the hotel bar before we left and the cocktails were delicious! Highly recommend.

I give a 3 to the hotel. Why? The positive things, it’s a beautiful hotel and the breakfast is the best we have had knowing that we are used to go to a host of hotels. The negative thing is that the staff is not friendly, in the opposite very rude. First for breakfast one lady welcomed us and told us we have only 45min no more to eat. The weather feels like -18C and we didn’t want to go outside and thought of staying a bit longer to eat, talk and enjoy the view which is by the way really nice. I paid to stay in the hotel not outside of it..the room is too tiny, it is by the way the smallest hotel room I had so far. For Christmas they gave us a biscuit. In other hotels they give us a big cake, a really nice one. Well so disappointed. Also we went to take a picture at the cafe Paul’s which is inside the Hotel. We asked the permission to a lady walking there and she said no problem but then 2min later a security came and chase us saying that we don’t have the right to sit here. It was so RUDE. Worst experience ever. Seriously?? A security guard?? The lights were on and people were in the kitchen and we can’t even sit to take a picture but guess what there is another Scandic which is way better. We went to have a look and people there were very kind there we had a seat and they recommended us also to go to the 8th floor where there is a magnificent view, it is called DownTown Camper highly recommend it. Hope my review helps.

My review is for the hotel bar which ordinarily is great, however the miserable head waiter completely ruined the experience. As soon as we arrived the head waiter looked irritated that we wanted to come in, and plonked us standing on the edge of a busy bar. As it was very crowded, everytime a table became free, myself and my group of friends attempted to sit down (as you do in a regular bar). Within seconds the head waiter told us that we couldn't sit there. We were moved several times and had been in the bar over an hour before the (much more amiable) manager/maitre de told us that we should be put on a waiting list for a table if we wanted to sit (as that is the system they use there). Not once did the head waiter tell us this. Instead he seemed to take pleasure in kicking us out of every seat in the bar. When I asked the head waiter to put us on the waiting list he was very pleasant in front of his manager, but as soon as the manager left us, he told me that he couldn't put us on the waiting list as he "had to check the system" and went back to his usual salty self. Having already wasted so much time there being treated like rubbish, we decided to go somewhere else where the staff are friendly. Such a shame as the other staff and atmosphere is great, but he managed to single-handedly ruin the whole feel of the place.

What a nice ambiance! Great hotel, with such a nice interior. It oozes a fantastic vibe. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good! A good selection of things you could have, and some fruit shots as well. The location is A+. Right in the center of Stockholm and a five minute walk from the Arlanda Express. Restaurants and bars are literally around the corner. The rooms are large and well decorated. They have the same vibe as the rest of the hotel. Well worth a stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel while in Stockholm. The vibe of the hotel is very cool and retro. Despite how busy the restaurant was every day, we couldn’t hear any of the music or other noise from our room a few floors above. Check in was very easy, and we were even able to check in a little earlier than expected. The staff was super friendly and accommodating when we needed a place to lock our bags after check out before our train left for the day.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are nice and will meet all of your needs. Our first set of nights in the hotel was on the corner and we did not sleep from 2-3am. You can very easily hear the bar crews just yelling most of the night. I do wish those rooms were a bit more soundproof from the very busy walkways. Breakfast was typical and nothing amazing.

Fantastic location and a really great service. Some of the rooms lack windows, but they designed around it with a cool window shaped led lamp. Pitch black darkness at night, great!

Haymarket is a good place, if you want to sit down and be able to talk to each other, the food if not excellent, then on a scale from 1-5, I give it a 3 clearly approved, they should be able to deliver better, I had a risotto myself which was good and creamy. the service gets a barely 4, the environment I give a clear 4. The place is really centrally located and is a good stop in all the rush. is recommended

Staff is very pleasant and helpful, location is amazing and rooms are lovely. However, the noise from bar below has interfered with our sleep hence 1 star. If you cannot handle loud music do not book this place!

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel, which fell far below the standards expected of a four-star establishment. The service was extremely poor, and it was frustrating that no one answered the phone at the reception when I needed assistance. Furthermore, the hotel was overpriced, considering the subpar quality of service provided. The lack of windows in the room added to the frustration, making my stay quite unpleasant. The only positive aspects were the breakfast and the convenient location. Additionally, I requested an extended checkout time, but my card was unexpectedly blocked before the actual checkout.

Good location, next to the square with a market and short walk downtown and to the water. The lobby is pretty and unique, art deco. The rooms were on the smaller side but beds were comfortable. The shower was great, hot water and great pressure, heated floor. It took me a few minutes to figure out the lighting because there's many switches and they are dimmers; but after the main one was dimmed, it had to be tapped to shut it completely off. At first my thermostat kept slowly rising in temperature instead of cooling but when I left the room and took the key I was able to cool it. The hotel is what you'd expect of a European hotel.

Yeah this is a pretty good place to stay in Stockholm. The rooms are not the biggest in town, quite nicely decorated. Overall very clean but at times a bit of a stinky sewer. Nothing that can't be fixed. The location of the hotel is great. Would certainly book again.

A smart and fashionable hotel popular among the youth. Dishes served at the restaurant are delectable. One minor detail would be that the water doesn't drain fast enough in the bathroom's shower area.

Location is convenient to all. T Metro is one block away with a Coop (grocery store) inside the Hotorget station and one stop from TCentralen stop. The shopping street is right next to the hotel and a food hall/court adjacent to us. The breakfast spread is amazing. Fresh everything. My room (one person) is on the small side. But I basically just slept on my bed and was out most of the time. 60s70s vibe. The bar/hotel is the happening place. It was packed when we came back from our excursion

Absolutely wonderful! Although we had a slightly rocky start with some construction noises in the early AM on our first day, Juan and Sabina went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional! We sincerely appreciate their efforts and want to thank them for ensuring we had a great experience. The hotel was impeccably clean, and its location couldn't have been more perfect. Moreover, the breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying, giving us a great start to the day. The bar had a lively atmosphere, making it a fantastic place to unwind and socialize. Thank you once again for a memorable stay!

Very good service and good value for money. Sparkling wine at breakfast was a nice surprise. The room was not exactly soundproof, so we could hear some loud noises from neighbouring rooms. There was also an unpleasant smell in the shower.

Perfectly located hotel for your stay in Stockholm with very nice rooms. The reception desk could be better staffed to accommodate larger crowds and reduce waiting times.

Beautiful hotel and great location. Lovely decorated in the rooms and nice beds. One star down for the very busy breakfast and the selection didn't live up to expectations.

A really nice hotel, right in the middle of Stockholm, with a really nice feel of the 1920s (not by accident, its supposed to feel like that). Rooms are a decent size and breakfast is very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we'd definitely stay again.

Disappointment. You ask for a top floor room expecting some nice city views instead you get a top floor room that feels like you're in a basement. They try to solve this by installing mirrors to reflect the sky. I was fortunate enough to be able to get a better room the following day.

Haymarket is a nice hotel, the location is perfect close to restaurants and centralen and the rooms are nice but as a business traveler there are a few things i don't like at all: You can't eat breakfast when you want, the room service is priced so you can't order one dish and they stop serving food in the restaurant at 8.30. The hotel bar is also overcrowded by people from the street so you can't finish the evening in the hotel in a nice way. For a tourist spending the weekend in stockholm maybe those things don't matter but as a business traveler it is not acceptable.

I am happy to give this hotel five stars, for everything other than their internet and WiFi, which was somewhat spotty and unreliable. Also, be careful in booking your room, as many rooms have no windows! I booked a double room with a window, and it was really nice. We enjoyed our room, which was larger than expected, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the great buffet breakfast every morning, and liked that we could reserve a table easily on our phones to avoid waiting in line. Also, they had good vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast. The location is great with the train station and mass transit close by, and tons of shopping, restaurants, and local attractions within easy walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Considering the quality of this hotel, we also considered it to be a really good value, and would definitely recommend it to others. They could improve their WiFi service, though. I had a really hard time connecting in some areas of the hotel, and also the connection would drop fairly frequently and interrupt what I was watching or working at the time.

The location couldn't be better. This hotel is smack in the middle of the city center, right on Hötorget and by Drottninggatan, a well-known shopping street. It's also super close (10 minutes walking) from the Central Station and the bus terminal. The interior is beautiful, and the rooms are very pretty. Ours didn't have a window, but that was specified in the booking, so not a problem. All the lights had a dimmer switch to customize the lighting, and the bathroom floor was heated. The bed was also adjustable, and very comfortable. Our only problem was that it sounded like someone was moving furniture around at all hours of the day - not sure if it was from the restaurant below or what (we were on the second floor). Overall a great hotel!

Really small rooms with a lot of sounds from outside the door. The hotel is neat and clean and the highlight is for sure the breakfast buffet which offer a great variety and quality. Nice and friendly staff.

This is one of the best social spots in the City, both for locals and tourists. Expect people, drinks and good surroundings, despite this being a Scandic chain hotel that mostly are ordinary....

  • 5/5 Maria C. 2 years ago on Google
Warm but professional service, but at the same time relaxed, and with an excellent musical repertoire. The atmosphere is retro and sophisticated. As you can see: in addition to the classics they also offer personalized drinks!

Great hotel room, kind front facing staff. Great location, nice vibe in the hotel’s bar and restaurants. Cleaning was abysmal; things were just moved around, not actually cleaned despite having asked for it at least twice every day. Don’t ask for the breakfast bag if you leave early, it was sad.

Funky hotel, old style luxury. Majestic vibe. Decent pricing. Super central location Had an issue with my room, and was immediately moved. Great service

  • 3/5 Piotr K. 1 year ago on Google
I believe you pay for the location, the rooms are pretty, can be a bit dark and very in sizes. The bathrooms are the best eye candy. The soaps are always almost empty or the pumps are broken. Could ask for a re-fill but the queue at the front desk is always too much hustle, I buy my own. The breakfast - scrambled eggs are something else or just half raw, not quite sure and if you stay longer than couple of days there is no variety. Can someone please make the website for booking breakfast in English? It is a hotel in the end…

  • 4/5 Raj S. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hotel with very unique decor. Make sure to add on the breakfast option. Totally worth it as the food is fresh and the buffet is quite elaborate. Rooms are small and very simple and leave a lot to be desired as there are no kettles, coffee etc in the room.

  • 4/5 Maud H. 1 year ago on Google
For the price, it was a great location and quality hotel! The decor is quirky and retro, the theme follows you everywhere. Even without a window they managed to make it still nice and enjoyable. The bed is very soft but you’re able to control the hardness slightly, which was quite cool. The only negative point was that every time another customer slammed their door during the night, our bed would vibrate and the noise was very loud in our room as well. It wasn’t well isolated unfortunately…

Staying 5 days and 4 nights at the hotel, Scandic's breakfast was good but I missed the seasonal fruits (berries) and needs a better selection of jams and juices. Good selection of cold buffet. Great waffles! For the the extend of visiting, the room service just arrange and cleaned the room once and we were very disappointed because the room needed after three days at least new towels and new bed sheets..

Really great Hotel in a very good location (basically everything in the city center is reachable by foot or public transport). The breakfast is extraordinary, with a mix of Swedish and other breakfast styles, with fresh and well made ingredients. Can really recommend this hotel!

Haymarket is such a cool spot. With a unique interior and great service. Try the bar or the café depending on your mood. Perfect for a chill night out with friends or a relaxing coffee date.

We had two rooms and they were very different one large and well laid out and the other quite small. The larger had two single beds and the smaller one double. Both rooms are functional as we will only be sleeping in them.

Stayed here once in 2018 and loved it! Unfortunately this experience didn't open the possibility for future stays. Poor house cleaning service (stains on sink and bedsheets remained after cleaning), the front desk didn't call us a cab although I'm 35 weeks pregnant, we asked nicely and no taxis were located at the taxi stop nearby.

I checked google maps at 4 am and the hotel cafe appeared open there in reality it was not open. I asked to the person working whether they have rooms available to see in the morning for an anniversary and he told me that I could only check it on web. I can not recommend the service quality and friendliness of staff.

  • 5/5 Jody L. 1 year ago on Google
An absolutely stunning hotel right in the centre of the city, everything is walkable. The staff in particular were impeccably friendly and helpful and I will 1000% stay here again. The rooms are comfortable, the shower was incredible and the decor is so tasteful and trendy - there's a 1920s vibe about the hotel which I didn't expect but loved.

  • 3/5 Daniel T. 1 year ago on Google
Got a sleeper room without a window. That's fine for a night or two in my book. But the room was a bit too tight in the hallway and the small working desk. Closet missing the knob was really annoying as it was the only place to hang your jacket. The bed was good, and the breakfast was great, albeit also very tight and requiring you to book your breakfast in advance.

  • 3/5 Claire H. 1 year ago on Google
Average. Central location but that's the only good thing it has going for it. Room decoration is very odd. Breakfast is average. Coffee is bad. Asked upon check-in if I wanted my room cleaned everyday which I confirmed. Not once was my room cleaned. The bed was never made, one day the bin was emptied, another the towels were folded. But that was it, all very bizarre.

  • 4/5 Tatjana T. 1 year ago on Google
Haymarket dining restaurant is my favorite restaurant in Stockholm. As in any buffet, there are several options for starters, main courses, a couple of drops of dessert and a variety of coffees from coffee machines that you can get on your own.

  • 2/5 Robbie 1 year ago on Google
Great location and quirky 'themed' hotel (1920s). Room was small and bizarrely laid out, cupboard in your face as soon as you open the door. No shelves for clothes and a cripplingly uncomfortable mattress, put my back out making for a very painful journey home. The walls are very thin, and there were little kids running around at 3am making all sorts of noise so I couldn't sleep anyway. Moreover the desk staff were quite aggressive at breakfast, I mentioned my room didn't have it included but they looked bemused and thrust a card machine under my nose. Not the most relaxing stay unfortunately. Won't be staying again, especially given the plethora of other options around.

  • 4/5 Ilanit R. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing location. The rooms are very small. The staff is nice but slow and took a long time to fix problems. Remember to ask for a city view, otherwise you get a window to the lobby and the room feels claustrophobic. We ended up switching rooms and it was better. But overall I felt that we paid too much for the experience.

  • 1/5 Bori P. 1 year ago on Google
The place itself is amazingly beautiful, BUT! I came here with my son, after days of wandering all over Stockholm, as our aim was to discover the city inside out. I guess we felt and perhaps looked exhausted, so by popping in for a nice coffe we been treated like trash. Sorry, but this is under the mark.... Staff should be welcoming guests exactly the same- no matter if the wear an expensive Gucci or cheap brands. They literally tossed us half of our order, not even checking what the full order should be..... Sorry Sweden that these folks represented your beautiful country. Never again!
