We were very disappointed and would not come back. The entrance area at first seems nice but upon closer inspection you find many moldy spots and other disturbing stains on the ceiling and carpeted areas. The rooms are old and the furniture has many dents and cracks, the floor has a lot of scratches. Our desk had weird stains on them, the curtains as well, the sink in the bathroom had no plug so that we had to look down the drain, there was mold in the corners of the shower. When we complained about that to the staff, we were shown another room which however was not better. There was no extra plug to be found for our sink so that the staff provided us with one that was too big and had to be put in a tilted way to allow water to leave the sink or either would clog up the sink almost completely. The door to our shower did not close so everytime we took a shower the bathroom overflowed. The bathroom door - a sliding door - could only be closed and opened with a lot of effort and strength, plus there is only a very light curtain in front of the bathroom walls that are made out of transparent glass, so you have very limited privacy - important when travelling with a friend or family. When we opened the Windows down to the Main street we found mold there as well. We booked a superior room and were hoping for a nice hotel for our trip to Stockholm but we feel we completely overpayed. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good, but that really did not make up for the poor quality of the Service and the hotel itself. I would not recommend this hotel and not stay here ever again.

Great hotel, very nice room, very kind and helpful people and the location was a dream. We were close to every place we wanted to visit and pet friendly.

What a great jewel in the heart of Stockholm. The room was clean and relaxing. The staff were courteous and kind. The breakfast was top level. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely and welcoming check in. Easy and fast. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities that you need, plus more. They have weights in the bedroom, how great! Breakfast on the morning is outstanding. Both continental and hot options to choose from, a great variety. They also have a vegan section. Lots of space in the restaurant too. Excellent location!

Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein. Kaum Möglichkeit etwas abzulegen. Die Zimmertüren schließen meiner Meinung zu schnell hinter einem, Sodas man sich echt beeilen muss in den Raum zu gelangen . Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Man sollte vielleicht ein paar Bilder in die Zimmer hängen. Personal sehr nett Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut.

Great hotel!! The service, location, breakfast and the room, all top notch. Also very dog friendly. Our dog could join us in the restaurant. 🥰

The location was absolutely perfect for our family vacation -- easy to get to both Djurgården and Gamla Stan. The rooms were great. Clean and roomy; comfortable beds; charming decor; modern bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised, actually. I was expecting much smaller rooms. And the breakfast!!! Everyone agreed it was the best coffee they'd ever had. The breakfast alone was worth the price. It was a fresh buffet with everything you could ever possibly want, and the service staff were excellent. And finally, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, from recommending restaurants to even scheduling a taxi for an early morning departure so I didn't have to deal with one more app. Excellent, highly recommended.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Our room was quite nice and in a very central location. The breakfast was amazing. It was one of the best I had during our holiday trip. I really loved that, I could make many different specialized coffee drinks. This made the breakfast even more special.

Small rooms, to soft bed, some rooms are on the 6flor, elevator up to 5. Great staf and location

I'll start with the bad cause this might be important for some people: The Wifi here is REALLY BAD. It's fine if your checking emails or browsing, but forget streaming anything like movies or YouTube. It buffers every couple of seconds on anything higher than 360p. I can only imagine how frustrating doing zoom calls would be. So if you're going to do work, I'd plan on going to a cafe. With that said, I was really happy with the breakfast and the room itself -the much more important parts of a stay! If you don't care about the above problem then it's a great stay really close to lots of restaurants and attractions.

We had a really disappointing stay. There was a loud noise from the street until 2 o'clock at night. The beds were enormously soft, and you are laying in a "cleft" in the middle of the mattress. In addition, our fridge didn't work, the boxes with earplugs and shower cap were empty and the keycard didn't work in the first place. The breakfast was OK and the staff OK helpful.

Nice hotel, located in a close distance to city center with a neighborhood of small restaurants with a loud night life, however I didn't hear the noises from the street while staying at hotel. Great for business trips and for tourists as well. Clean rooms with the all needed equipment, additionally in our we found 2 pair of exercise dumbbells. Tasty breakfast. Very nice staff, allowed us to check in before the time and then we had no issue with leaving our luggages after check out.

Booked a twin room, very nice rooms and good size. Breakfast is decent options for all including vegans and gluten free Room service was OK but not the best, occasionally leaving used towels and or missing towels. Not replacing tea bags some days. Location is amazing, near the bay and short hops or walks to most tourist spots Overall would recommend

Very poor cleaning. Much noise impossible to have a good night sleep. Bad service.No compensation for uncleaned room on the day of arrival. Small rooms. We will never stay at that hotel ever again.

Super friendly staff - great location and good breakfast

They're trying hard but just not quite up to competitive standards. Our room had a clogged shower drain which caused the bathroom to flood, and created a bad smell throughout. The minibar fridge didn't work, so we had no cold drinks--and the hotel's ice machine was likewise broken. And WiFi signal was weak and unstable throughout the hotel. That said, the beds were very comfortable and the well insulated windows and blackout curtains completely cut off street noise. The staff were very friendly and eager to help --but had only partially remedied our room problems by the end of our stay. Great location if you want to be near dining and nightlife, and close proximity to central Stockholm attractions.

The key card stopped working 6 times for me. When I got back from work, took the elevator up, I always had to get back to the lobby to fix it. They said it was due to the card being to close to the phone. So I had the card stored not near the phone after that and the issue still occurred every day. Breakfast buffet was really nice. Nice staff. Good cleaning. To modernistic bathroom, the shower you hade to figure out. They need to fix the key cards.

The Riddargatan gets 5 stars across the board. Perfectly located in the center of everything, staffed by the loveliest people, offering clean and comfortable rooms, and providing a truly yummy breakfast! You can't ask for more!

4 star hotel with nice and clean rooms. The breakfast was really good! The best breakfast I had in all the hotels I have visited. They also have tea, coffee and water which you can always take as a resident. One downside of this hotel is the stairs to get into the hotel and into the elevator. So it is not wheelchair friendly and heavy suitcases are a hassle to get into the hotel.

Whilst the location is perfect for exploring it is terribly loud until 2-3 am with club music and drunken people. Curtains and mattrasess were very dirty

Room was not like pictures had shown. Very small and dirty when we arrived.

The best location - close to everything you need on Ostermalm, Strandvagen, Nybroviken, Stureplan. Rooms are small, functional, efficient, the beds too...bathrooms even smaller. Not the fanciest place, but location makes up for many shortcomings. Great friendly staff.

Easy access to town centre, old town, Skansen and even boats (10 minutes from Strömkajen, from which boats leave to the archipel). Very nice bedrooms : comfort, clean and quiet. Everything perfect concerning service and breakfast. A very good choice, for both visiting Stockholm and travelling. Would recommend.

Cosy hotel with a perfect location. The breakfast is good and feels very clean, which is highly appreciated in times of a pandemic. The parking can be a bit problematic, so if trvalling by car you might want to reconsider the location

We have stayed at the Riddargatan Hotel a few times over the years. It is a great hotel, the rooms are nice and clean, and the breakfast is generous. In addition, the staff is friendly and professional. We highly recommend this hotel, if you want to stay in a good, but quiet, central location of Stockholm.
