What a gem of a place . If you want 5 star it might not be for you but right in the middle of the old city 15 minute easy interesting walk from airport train. Like staying in a museum with all the old sea faring memorabilia . Possibly the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in . Excellent buffet breakfast included . Absolute gem of a place . We stayed here for one night , as a stopover before travelling up to northern Sweden. Overall opinion is that the hotel was relatively good value for money, considering you are in the old town of Stockholm. It’s an old building with a unique quirky style and feeling …. It’s not for everyone but what is .. and it’s certainly not a generic clone copy of a chain hotel. Room We had a standard captains room. Smallish room but with a large bathroom . Comfy large bed . No tea and coffee in the room or mini fridge, but there were two bottles of water. Very clean Bathroom Nice size , with two sinks and a large shower. Thermostat on shower clearly not working as the shower brought about the infamous hot and cold dance routine …. Very clean Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was 10/10, great ambience and whilst it looked small , it offered everything you needed and seemed of good quality … loved it ! Wouldn’t stay here again, but no regrets with the choice it’s a great location , clean and super quirky

Amazing little boutique hotel... location is excellent for a tourist weekend. We got the Arlanda Express from the airport to Central Station and then one stop on the metro to Galma Stan. It was a two minute walk to the hotel. Staff very friendly, they gave good food recommendations to us. The hotel is quirky with a nautical theme. Some may find it pricy but you are at the very centre of the tourist area just minutes walk from the Royal Palace. Breakfast quite comprehensive by European standards.

An eccentric and exciting hotel that puts you in the mood for a visit to Stockholm. The decor is what you're paying for in this hotel - the theme is boats and the hotel boasts a truly impressive collection of pieces from all over the world displayed in every corridor and shared space throughout. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and there was a delectable selection for breakfast, with an impressive range of options to suit all palettes. The room was small, and fairly basic with touches of luxury. It's a shame that the rooms were missing mini fridges and tea and coffee making facilities. They had provided a caddy on each floor for this purpose, but it is not the same as having this facility in your room. The rugs in each room were also very threadbare and could use updating. Excellent showers and washroom facilities with, I kid you not, the best smelling soap I have ever had the delight to experience. All of the provided toiletries were of excellent quality, with the haircare being particularly good.

A real collector's item. The historical nautical theme was well done. The room was very comfortable and well appointed, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were courteous and helpful.

Some rooms are very noisy. Do not recommend if you need a good nights sleep. Got a room facing their inner court yard where their winebar is located. Loud noise and disturbance continued late into the night. We had asked to change rooms but was told that the only rooms available would be a significant downgrade (both in size and quality) from what we had paid for (and didn't offer to refund the difference). Lacking on the general maintenance front - the toilet seat was loose when we first arrived. It was rectified the next day after we told them - but this is something the cleaning team should / would have noticed and could easily have flagged for attention without it getting to the guests. Before checkout, we did a quick check of the room to ensure that we didn't leave anything behind. Found random item under the bed that didnt belong to us - which further questions the room cleaning standards.

This quaint hotel is what you'd expect from a European historical area...rooms are small, clean , and functional. A desk, chair, bed and small bath with two pedestal sinks. The bed was very comfortable...two twins pushed together to make a king. However, they tended to push apart. Like most historical Euro hotels, rooms are not made for people much over six foot...shower heads & door ways are too low for a tall person. The customer service was excellent. Very nice breakfast too.

Spent three night here and we had an amazing time. The staff is so helpful and frankly this was the case with every staff member. We traveled with our 16 month old and booked the small double room. It was small as advertised but we managed to fit our travel crib. The room was very clean and felt so cozy and comfortable. The location adds to all the other great things about this hotel. Steps away from food, attractions, and parks. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it if you’re visiting Stockholm.

Super cute hotel with kind staff and delicious breakfast. Our room was lovely and all the details are so fun around the hotel. It was very quiet and was able to get very dark (super important here in the summer). The only reason I did not give it five stars was the bed…when we got into bed it felt super comfortable and cozy but we both slept fitfully and with backaches in the morning, so maybe not the most supportive bed? Otherwise a wonderful hotel. Photo from the bathroom window.

We enjoyed our night here. It's a comfy hotel with a really fun theme. Friendly personal, helpful too. Decent breakfast. Excellent location just a minutes walk from the old town subway. Old town surrounds the hotel meaning you can get the real experience of living here whilst being in reach of the entire of Stockholm. We will stay here again for sure.

Staying at the Victory Hotel leading in to Christmas has been absolutely magical. The hotel itself is steeped in history and with a fascinating nautical theme. Always warm and cosy it was our safe harbour during some of the colder evenings, offering a great selection of restaurants within the building walls, as well as the authentic, well appointed breakfast lounge with its original brickwork protruding out of the ground as a reminder of the tower (Lion Tower) that used to stand here before. The room we had was outstanding, lovely unique nautical decor throughout with all the modcoms you'd expect. All the staff are super friendly and helpful making our stay a magical one that we'll remember forever.

Great location. 100m to "everything" in gamla stan. Wonderful rooms that are decorated with a specific historical nautical person in mind. Such an eye for detail is rare and must be experienced. Wonderful staff. Only tip is to make dinner reservations in the restaurants since they tend to be full at weekends But there are many, many other restaurants in the area.

We spent 4 nites in Stockholm at the Victory Hotel and it was perfect. The location is great and the staff is extremely helpful. We splurged on a suite and for the cost it was more than we could of expected, and well worth the money. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a hotel. The breakfast was served every morning in a great room with so much history. The food was so delicious and ever morning there were many different choices. The antiques in the hotel just add to the overall quaintness. All of the people we encountered at the front desk were so welcoming and there was a bowl of delicious chocolates waiting for us. If you have the wonderful opportunity to visit Stockholm I would check out this hotel, it's just perfect.

Fantastic location, very quirky decor which made it seem personal and not commercial. Room clean and well-decorated. Charming staff and nice varied breakfast. Would highly recommend as a place to stay in gamla stan!

Very small rooms. You literally have to walk sideways against the wall to get into your bed. But once you’re in there it’s fine. Nice staff and some very cool visual features in the hallways. We used the hot sauna and cold plunge pool and felt very Nordic. Would stay again for a night or two.

Olle in the reception was the main reason why we chose to continue our stay in the hotel! Amazing guy with an amazing smile and customer service! Just saying WOW this guy defenitely needs a salary raise or promotion! He made our stay in Stockholm unforgettable and solved all our problems! Omar in the breakfast was very friendly, nice and helpful. The rest of the breakfast staff should learn from him atleast how to put a smile on the face and/or greet goodmorning!

Until I visited Victory Hotel, I had not been sure I knew what boutique hotel was after living in other boutique hotels and reading enough on magazines. A small entrance on a side street next to Munkbron in Old Town (where the palace is located), it was a 'wow' to me all the way from reception desk, corridor and my room, then along staircase to dinning room when I walked down the next morning for my breakfast. I am in lack of words to describe them all but posting a pic of the reception area. The rest is waiting for your guys to explore. It is a treasure worth many visits. The other wow experience is Vasamuseet. What a great city!

This was a great place to stay, with its nautical theme. Good rooms, great breakfasts and friendly helpful staff. Brilliantly situated for walking to many of the city highlights.

The theme and unique characteristics get presented consistently through decoration, utility details. Warm receptionists. Small double room on top attic floor feels a bit short on the ceiling side, but as 1st attic experience it looks nice through top/side window at dusk time. Especially worth mentioning their hand soap/shower gel/body lotion series. Pleasant flavour and touch

What a find this hotel is. The location is fantastic for seeing Old Town. The hotel itself is a bit of museum. They have collected maratime artifacts from all over. There is even a letter from Lord Nelson to Lady Emma Hamilton. Ever floor focuses on a different theme. The hotel has kept the olden style and there is a view of the original foundations, when you go down for breakfast. No modern swipe to enter your room, you are given an old fashioned key. One that you can leave at reception when you go exploring. And the rooms are lovely. They even provided some port and chocolate for a nightcap. Both were lovely.
