Warning!!! Stay away from this place! Good pictures on google maps but they don't match real ones (I visited this place in September 2023 and my room was on the fifth floor) I can't stay here and moved to another hotel late at night and here comes the reason :-( This hotel is definitely not for you or your family if you are afraid of spiders, very dark rooms not good lighting, there seems to be a lack of room cleaning. I do not recommend this hotel even if you stay for free, except you're not afraid of sleeping with spiders.

It fits his class. It's not a vacation hotel, it's a budget hotel near the center. The rooms are small but sufficient for need. The only odd thing was that there were no slippers. Breakfast is good in a very interesting environment. It's full of people. There's a subway nearby.

Really nice hotel. Close enough to the center and reasonably priced. my only 2 concerns were regarding the amount of outlets in single small rooms and the breakfast. firstly, the breakfast was great. hearty, fulfilling, and overall good quality, however, the eggs looked... suspicious and i wish they had a larger selection of fruit as they mostly offer eggs, meat and grains for breakfast. i was in a very small room (which wasn't particularly an issue and considering the price i paid it was definitely up to standards) but the amount of outlets available to charge electronics were very limited, meaning that if i had multiple things to charge, i almost had to prioritize charging one thing over another because there were only 2-3 outlets. as someone who traveled with plenty of tech (phone, computer, ipad, headphones, etc) this was a slight inconvenience. overall, amazing hotel. definitely recommend

Small rooms, and although it was clean there were several stains on the walls and carpet. The walls are very thin, could hear the cleaning lady next door at 8am, which woke me up. The bathroom door didn't close properly. They offer breakfast, it's good but it's quite dull, very limited. Overall the hotel is value for money, as the prices are on the lower side.

Overall impression was okay. The check-in was confusing, as we called to ask if an early check-in was possible and the hotel staff told us our room would be ready in 30 minutes. After arriving 40 minutes later, we were told our room wasn't ready yet and we had to wait for more than 1 extra hour. The room itself was well decorated and quite modern, however, it was really dirty. There was dust on the bedframe and on the floor, but the worst was the bathroom, which had suspicious brown stains on the glassdoor and door handle (which is obviously a huge no-go in a hotel bathroom). Also the bathroom would flood every time the shower was used, and there was no space for hanging towels, making it impossible to fully dry them. It was also not good that the windows could not be opened, and the AC was always on. On a positive note, the breakfast buffet was great. There was a variety of food choices, and new baked goods every day. Also, we really appreciated the price and location of the hotel. Great restaurant options all around, and underground station a couple of minutes away.

TERRIBLE. If you wanna ruin your stay in Stockholm go there!! Environment is opposite of friendly. Staff were super rude. They toke my stuff out of my room without my permission & charged me extra. If there was a rate zero, I would have gave zero. HORRIBLE PLACE.

Besides the good ''location'', Absolutely uncomfortable place to live in. - No Air Con in the room and its really hot!!! No FAN ALSO and the central AC is like not even entering the room. Practically impossible to be in the room during day time! - The internet connectivity/Range is ridiculously poor inside the room. I have to literally attend official meetings and now I have to go to a nearby cafe. - The kettle is on the table but there isn't a plug point within reach to the table! Now I had to boil water taking the kettle to the Toilet (since the plug point near the bed is already being used to charge my laptop)- really non user friendly setup! -The window handle practically is broken! - There isn't a single shelf to keep your cloths in. I am just checked in and I already have uncomfortability in this place (no offence- the reception is polite and it's not their fault)...Sorry for being blunt.

This is a great location! The rooms are small if you have a bunch of luggage. The breakfast is amazing and totally made our stay great. It is near the subway and bus stop so you can connect to the city anywhere easily.

Best Western Hotel Fridhemsplan is an affordable hotel. The room was fine. The key card did not work when I checked in. I had to go back down and an employee came up with me. She concluded that the battery in the lock was dead. Had to stand for a while and wait before it was fixed. Breakfast included, but very little variety, and no good options for vegetarians. This is not a hotel I will stay at again.

Centrally located, friendly front desk and restaurant crew (breakfast shift) but the rooms are old, and our bathroom was in poor condition. The bathroom floods if you shower at normal flow rate! We were also not given floor mats for the bathroom on day 1. On day 2, I had to ask from the housekeeping trolley and on day 3, they were placed on our bath towels 😁 I guess I can laugh about it as we brought our own. It was really unhygienic.

Great hotel with a nice location near a subway station, supermarket and a park. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are also nice, but with a weird bathroom layout. Wifi has a good speed during evenings. The breakfast is pretty good with nice options. Overall good quality for money.

We stayed in one of the family rooms and it was a great deal all in all. It's not the most charming location, but it is quite central and the hotel is next to a metro station. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was totally fine. We had a quiet, restful one night stay as a couple with two small kids.

Best western hotels are always nice. This hotel is super easy to find and close to city center on foot. Staff were very nice ND friendly and rooms are nice but need some work. No fridge but coffee and tea. The only negative point was the mattress which was stained. Breakfast is very 👍 good. Price is excellent because at 80€ a night, it's very competitive. Great stay with many shops around.

Loved the location. A fantastic beer pub is right next door. Plus there's a few other pubs and shops around. Easy to get to the tube to go to the centre of Stockholm. The one bad point was that the room was too warm and no way of changing the temperature.

We had a really bad experience. Very bad smell and humidity in the atmosphere of our room. Receptionist was really helpful.

  • 3/5 Mika B. 9 months ago on Google
The room was good, the personal service was good, morning buffet was great. 👍🏻👍🏻 The only downside was that there wasn’t really good information that you need to ask to get your room cleaned up before clocking 12 every day, and even after that you get the room 50% done 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

We are very disappointed about our 1458 SEK room in the first floor. A lot of noise from the road. Room looks more like a dorm or hostel room than hotel room. Very basic furniture. Not enough light by bathroom mirror. Ugly painting and threadbare mat.

Why don't they remove all Cigarette Butts on the sidewalk just outside their entrance?! Their guests seems lazy since they can't use the ashtray less then 10 meters away... The Bar beside always sweep their part of the sidewalk.

I Reserved the room there but it was taken over by sb else. Ended up in a cellar or bunker type of a room with no windows and no air conditioning. Service at the reception was not kind and helpful. Feels like of below any acceptable standard. What a shame. The guests are not the punishment it should be the hotel core focus. I Do not recommend. Look in the neighborhood- it’s a lot options to choose from.

When we arrived there wasn't anyone at the check-in counter and it took sometime before the staff appeared there. The room was ok, but the interior was looking quite wornout, like it should have been renewd 5 yers ago. Location is nice and it rather quiet in the room even it faced the streed. Breakfast was really basic and didn't have a lot of options for vegetarians and even less for vegans.

Good location, Rooms were fine, basic but adequate. Staff were really bad, rude and uninterested. Worst customer experience i've ever had in a hotel. Because of this i won't stay with Best Western again. Breakfast was ok, again basic and a bit messy but adequate.

Amazing hotel. Great staff and great location close to convenience stores and the train. Room was very nice but can get hot if you go in summer

  • 2/5 Rafael B. 1 year ago on Google
Breakfast is the best thing in the hotel. Well served and organised by friendly and efficient staff. Staff at reception quite serious and unfriendly, but get things done. No laundry, which is a shame. Very convenient waking distance to Centrum and the river for walks. Rooms are not the best, specially the ones in the basement. Toilets don't have any amenities other than hand soap. No cleaning service unless specifically requested. Hotel can improve considering the exorbitant rates they charge.

Nice place to stay in central Stockholm. Not too fancy, but lovely... somehow in many ways. Comfy beds, decent meal, clean and quiet. Two pillows - how nice is that, when you used to hug somebody while sleeping.

The location of the hotel is really good and has everything a tourist needs closeby. The breakfast is top notch and gives a perfect start for the day. The rooms are just like expected, the only complaints i have for the room is that the trash cans are really small and that there is no mini refrigerator in the room. It would have been really nice to have a ice cube machine on the floor aswell.

Clean room, friendly staff. Location is about 25 minute walk from the central station or a few minutes from the Tunnelbanan station. Good breakfast choice.

I had a very small room in the middle of the building with no windows. However, the lack of natural light was about the way only fault I could find. The rooms were, clean, well arranged and brightly decorated. The shower was excellent. The dining and lounge areas were very pleasant. They put on a good buffet breakfast. Service was friendly and efficient. Good central location with convenient public transport links. Overall a good budget option.

A 15 to 20 minute walk from Stockholm Central Station. Also very near public transportation. Clean, bright room. Ours was small but we didn't need more for the two nights we stayed. A bit warm but there was a fan, the central AC didn't seem to affect the temp. Good breakfast, nice staff. All in all a nice place to stay.

Good value hotel, maybe one of the best (for the price) in Stockholm. Excellent location (2 metro stations from Central Station), very good breakfast (large variety of different food, also gluten free of vegan) and cleanness - are the key advantages. You will get better price if you make reservation earlier). Recommended.

We stayed in the hotel for 10 nights in August, we have some remarks ; the location was great the breakfast was superb the staff were pleasant and friendly when asked specially mentioning one guy called Thomas He was so helpful and well informed and very willing to help and assist. The rooms are basic not well furnished lack of storage make the stay difficult ,the room cleaning is not well organized.

  • 4/5 Ashley C. 1 year ago on Google
The room was basic & small but I guess for the area that’s standard. It was odd there was no room phone. The front desk ladies were so kind & went out of their way to book me a spot at a local spa I found. The beds were comfy though small & room was quiet. The area of town was convenient.

  • 4/5 Andy T. 1 year ago on Google
My room was nice and clean, and breakfast was standard and good. Also, staff was attentive and friendly. Only downside was that my room got really stuffy and uncomfortably hot at times due to the lack of ventilation and lack of windows, which is understandable since it’s located in a basement. Overall, I enjoyed my two-night stay and I’d stay again.

Fair prices for the rooms and things you get!! Very nice breakfast and clean rooms. Nice location. Wifi did not work properly in our room.

  • 5/5 Ryan F. 1 year ago on Google
Only stayed for one night and I must say for central Stockholm this was an absolute bargain. They need to charge more money! The room was smaller than average hotel rooms but the space made good use of. The bed was perfect. Service was friendly and fast. Breakfast was great. I think the only things that let it down were the maid knocked on the door 30 mins before checkout with the do not disturb light on and the only plug socket in the room is by the door and high up from the floor meaning I had to dangle my phone from the socket for it to charge overnight.

Very easy, friendly place. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Missing a coffee maker perhaps. Breakfast was divine 😍 Easy metro system and bus accesible. Nice inexpensive next door restaurant and bar

  • 1/5 Kerstin S. 1 year ago on Google
First, they won’t send up something to drink to my room while I was lying down with 39,5 fever for 2 days. After that, I cancelled all m reservations - and I travel a lot. The hotel manager called a few days later to apologise and promised to compensate me with a free stay if I renewed one of the reservations I cancelled. It was a 3 nights stay in January. Today, I wanted to book this exact stay and give the hotel another chance - and now the hotel manager called again saying he never promised that. So, so, so bad! I never go there again - and I encourage everyone to boycott the hotel as well.

It's not a very pleasant hotel. Very small rooms, not much privacy. We put on a sign to make our room which is included in the price of the rooms but for our 4 day stay, they never cleaned our room. Breakfast was good.

  • 5/5 benedek n. 1 year ago on Google
The staff was great, everybody is kind and willing to help. The inner city is 10 minutes away with bus, but you can walk as well if you like. The rooms were clean, and the price -quality ratio is outstanding! We had our own bathrooms which is great! Breakfast was quite good, they even had plenty of vegan options!

  • 1/5 Rudo K. 1 year ago on Google
Fire alarm went off all night for multiple nights, and I was locked out of my room and charged 500 SEK for temporarily taking it off so I can sleep. Feels like a very punitive system clearly designed to profit off of guests.
