Great hotel located on top of the hill in the city center where you can enjoy a wonderful 360 degree view of Istanbul. The rooms are nice and spacious. Void. Next to the hotel is a small square with a neighborhood and restaurants. The Executive Club is spacious and serves great food and tea. Plenty of seating to choose from at different angles of the sites depending on which cityscape you prefer. I was a little surprised that there was not a single TV screen in the club. I think it would make the place more warm and inviting if some TV screens were spread all over the club. The employee was nice and helpful. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Woke up to renovations above us at 7:30 in the morning... not very pleased with that. When we decided we couldn't handle the noise any longer, we decided to go downstairs to have breakfast and everything was completely cold! Our TV also had no connection so we were unable to watch any movies using Chromecast. Very unlikely that we stay here again. 😕

This is a hard one. It’s very close to a full 5-star rating and half way through my 3-day stay I had it mentally flagged for the top spot. The last part of the stay made me reconsider. Overall it’s a really nice hotel, perfectly located next to the central station. Spacious and fresh lobby. The room was excellent. Clean, modern design and full of nice touches. There was, for instance, an umbrella by the door and lots of storage space. It might also be the very first hotel room ever where the chair and desk was actually ok for working. I usually can’t find a comfortable working position on those small tables but here it was perfectly fine. The bed was good, the bathroom smartly planned and even the lights seemed to be designed by humans. You didn’t even have to insert your card for them to work. Nice. Breakfast was slightly above average. A bit lacking on the bread front, but the fruit plates really boosted the experience. At night the area turned into a restaurant that was pretty great. I tried it a couple of times and came away impressed both times. A little bit on the pricier side, but not too much. So far, all good. Then I went down to the complementary gym. All three track machines were out of order. The other machines seemed more than a little worn. A small thing, but still - not on par with the rest of the hotel. Then the most surprising aspect was the checkout. I had picked the wrong complementary water in the minibar and the interaction around this did not leave me with a good feeling. I was to blame for the error for sure, and don’t mind the 30sek, but the way it was handled felt really weird. So a 4 it is. Still, it was overall really good and I’ll stay here again. Maybe it’ll get the extra star then.

Very nice hotel at the heart of Stockholm city. Adjacent to the Central Station, hub for the rail transport system. City’s old part is within 10 min walking distance, a place for awesome restaurants.

Hard to find the entrance since the hotel restaurant (Lykke) is highlighted from the street level instead and there is no sign about the hotel on the entrance door what so ever. A lot of conferences going on but access to the rooms is pointed trough the elevator and every level requires the room card to touch the panel. Nice and big rooms with charming lighting. Clean and ok repaired bathroom with a shower.

Great hotel in Stockholm. On the pricier side but well worth it. Excellent service, nice toiletries, comfy beds, best location for coming and going.

Simple, functional and cozy rooms. I was fortunate to have a room on the 7th floor that had a window I could open which helped with the air flow. They also provided a fan. Nice touch for both air circulation and white noise. Breakfast was extensive and nice set-up. Conveniently located right next to the airport express train and central station. Stockholm ebikes outside, too!

Great hotel in a central.location in Stockholm, right by the central railway station. Lot's of shopping and eating opportunities within walking distance. Nice clean modern rooms, with a safe and fridge bar. Excellent breakfast. Parking garage in the basement is a pretty convoluted maze and limited in space, so book it in advance with the hotel, if you need car parking.

You cannot beat the location of this hotel. The service is good but a bit impersonal. Do not get me wrong, the front desk is helpful if you ask questions or recommendations but lacks the welcoming atmosphere. If the manager of the hotel fixes that aspect this hotel can be the best in that area.

It was a family holiday and we booked two rooms in aug 2023 in this hotel. Found the hotel through google and the reviews were good. I got a deal online and booked 2 rooms with breakfast. the rooms were neat and tidy. the interiors were good. The receptionist was warm and friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a variety. the lobby area was good and spacious and had a good vibe to chill.. it was exactly a two min walk to the central station which connected to the airport. and 30 seconds walk to the metro for internal travel. the shooing street was 5 mins walk.. it was centrally located to all the places one normally would want to visit.. rooms were a little small but for the price it was a good deal. they were bigger rooms too at a higher price i guess. overall would 100% recommend this hotel.

One of the best values here is the free breakfast. Easily the most expansive free breakfast I have ever seen. 100+ items of all kinds, and is probably a $20 per person value. The next great value is that it is RIGHT next door to the train station that brings you to Stockholm from the airport. The hotel room itself, even if you get a premium room, is small. The air conditioning is weak, so be prepared to have a stuffy room if you book in the summer.

  • 5/5 Stephen K. 9 months ago on Google
No air conditioning in a few rooms that I know of. Shower was a bit small. They brought up a fan which helped a lot. Apart from that it was a great place to stay. Centrally located and very friendly staff and great breakfast.

Next to Stockholm central station. In the heart of city, everything you would need is close by. Breakfast option is good, not as extensive as other Nordic group hotels. No AC in rooms, but table fan is provided

This hotel delivers the familiar home experience. The bathroom is amazing and the toiletries are top notch! Parking could be a challenge though.

Be ware when you book this hotel! The ventilation system was not functioning, so it was over 30 degrees centigrade in the rooms on our floor, no possibility to open any windows, so we did not sleep at all hence the temperature and lack of ventilation, were given a small fan and told that it is what it is after complaining to the reception in the evening we arrived. But still we were charged full price for the stay including full price for parking. If you want a comfortable sleep choose another hotel! The reason for the ventilation was according the the reception that the outside temperature was too high (20degC) and therefore the rooms were hot aswell..🙄 Edit/update: the ventilation system on the floor was to be examined according to hotel staff due to several complaints, and only that floor, other floors not affected..

It is a hotel with small rooms but they are efficiently designed. Small gym but the same - efficient and even has a decent rowing machine. I liked breakfast. Overall I d recommend it for a business stay.

Lovely hotel with a great scandinavian vibe. I liked the decor and the restaurant. It's very central located, just step off the train and you're there. The rooms are not so big, but very cozy and has all you need with minibar and lots of poweroutlets. Great breakfast buffet. Also the hotel has a gym with many technogym machines.

Great location and breakfast. Cool room design. Also, when you close the window, it is quiet despite the room fronting the busy road. Unfortunately, hotel has plenty of cons: Lack of hangers in the room. So, called reception for hangers and they never arrived. Design of bathroom is weird - whenever you shower, water leaks out of the shower enclosure to a drain far from it, leaving you with WET, MESSY and SLIPPERY FLOOR EVERYTIME (see photo). Which is dangerous also if you are staying with your kid, like me. Same goes for the sink, water just goes everywhere. Housekeeping is not thorough - trash can enclosure is dirty, they never bothered to use thongs to get the small trash that’s stuck (see photo). Morever, it can get tiring have to open the trash can enclosure each time you throw trash, so we left it open (design is like a drawer). TV does not swivel so one can’t view well when on the sofa. Be warned - I believe hotel does not have aircon (hence the fan in the room). So if you stay in the summer, good luck!

Nice and quiet rooms. Great location next to the central station, restaurants, shopping, bars. Big breakfast buffet of nice quality, great egg scramble and sausages. Recommended for central Stockholm stay!

It's actually one of the best hotels in Stockholm I visited in the last 3 years. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The staff was cheerful and helpful. The location is perfect if you have to commute to the Arlanda airport. I like the lobby and breakfast area.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Locations is perfect, it’s right next to central station. Breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide selection and lots of non dairy substitutes. Rooms were clean, with a simple yet elegant Nordic wooden design .

Nordic efficiency. Great breakfast, clean, crisp and efficient rooms. Small but....that is Sweden. Very close to the airport Express and short walks to all the main sites. Would stay again!

I don't think you can get a better located hotel in Stockholm than this. Right by the Arlanda Express station for easy transfers to and from the airport and right by the metro station (I am envious of Stockholm's subway system compared to London!) Was also great for getting to the Stockholmsmassan convention centre (3 stops on the train with no changes). Nice rooms, good service, great breakfast, great bar. Loved it!

We had a great stay at the Nordic light hotel . Close to the Arlanda Express and good breakfast buffet . The negative things were the noise from the street , no AC , you can’t lock the door from the inside , no complimentary water , no robes or slippers . I would still recommend the hotel but would stay next time in a room away from the Main Street and stay there when it’s cooler .

Modern and fresh hotel, employees are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are the right size and very clean. Modern bathroom with a good shower. Bed is very good! At the breakfast there was a lot of choice and everything was very fresh. Only thing to complain about is the price of parking. 495 krone (45 euro) for a day eventhough you stay just for the night. It's cheaper to park your car in a public garage just around the corner. If they lower their prices or charge you per hour, 5 stars.

Central and urban. The restaurant closed at 21:30, not 23 (kitchen 22) as they told me. Due to C-19 restrictions, we had to book the day before for our breakfast. We have a baby with us and it was only able to book for 45 mins.

Very nice hotel — ideally located directly by the train station and airport rail shuttle, not far from the city centre either. The rooms are elegant and cosy. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

I like the hotel as it is fresh, with nice rooms, fair prices, good breakfast, good location. Staff depends. Not tried the resto.

Fantastic. Absolute the best place to be if you are in Stockholm for work. Most offices / meetings are within walking distance. Great food and drink options. Arlanda Express station is 50 metres away and you can just walk in. The rooms are big, well lit, sparse in a tasteful Scandinavian way and well appointed for a night of work and rest. Absolutely loved it.

There was nothing to fault about this place. We absolutely loved our room complete with Chromecast for when we were chilling at the end of the day. Fridge bar, safe, wardrobes, storage was excellent and the bathroom was stunning. Reception was super helpful and kind. Breakfast was amazing and the seating area was very modern, clean, and fun. The staff were constantly cleaning, clearing, stocking up food and drinks. Super efficient. Located right in front of Arlanda Express, so seconds to hop in and out for the airport. Easy access to all sights, castles, museums. If in Stockholm again, we would definitely stay there.

It's lovely, really decent rooms and the breakfast is excellent. Right next to the central station. As with most places in Stockholm the beer is very expensive. £10-12 a pint.

Great location, deluxe rooms are spacious with good amenities. Only thing missing is writing desk, but you need unplugging once in awhile I guess :) Our hotel in Stockholm!

Stayed at Nordic Light in December, just before Christmas, and got picky good things to say. The hotel is located conveniently next to the Central Station (Centralstationen) with only a short 1 - 5 min walk between the two (depending on which exit You take) Service at the hotel is top notch, I had a problem with payment, the hotel itself does not accept Diners Club, but online on the reservation portal it does, and although being Swedish I live in India and had to arrange funds between accounts. This took a day but the staff was more than accommodating and we got it sorted in the end. The rooms are cozy, Scandinavian design and clean. The bar and restaurant area is downstairs on the ground floor, usually I like a more separate bar area than what the design is here, but it works. Breakfast is fantastic, focused on Swedish foods with touches of international. All in all we loved our stay, we will be back for sure the next time we are in Stockholm.

An incredible rip off this hotel! Was staying there from Sep 20-21, 2022 and paid a staggering EUR 310 for one night only to get a tiny room without a desk etc. Never again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was very convenient and right next to central station and airport express. We love the free breakfast here. The reception was also friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. We would love to come back here and stay again!

Extremely nice and accommodating staff. Excellent location, within a walking distance of anything you could need in stockholm. Rooms are stylish and clean, with great lighting and good space. 10/10 would definitely recommend. You won’t have to worry about a thing here

We really appreciated flying into Stockholm, jumping on the Arlanda train station and walking no less than 5 min to the hotel. The hotel itself is very inviting. We paid extra to have our room ready and it was perfect. Because we arrived early, we went ahead and had their amazing breakfast. It was exactly what we needed to start our day. After a long day of walking around, we came back up to our cozy room (stayed on the 7th floor) and had a nice view of the city. We stayed in the room with the living room pull out bed for our kid to sleep on. Overall - great stay. Highly recommend.

I stayed at The Nordic Light Hotel for 5 days/ 4 nights for a long weekend trip. The hotel is about a 30 second walk (no exaggeration) to the Stockholm Central train station and bus/ coach station. The hotel is modern, swanky and nice to the eye. The staff were great, helpful and always smiley. They were great with local recommendations and things to see and do. The hotel rooms were also great. Extremely clean, spacious and modern. They all have an iron, tea/ coffee maker and a large mini bar (which is an extra charge). The hotel is a pretty decent location to all the well known attractions and a gentle stroll to most areas, but there’s always the metro trains if you want to hop on and off them. Breakfast is included and to be fair, is pretty decent for a free breakfast. It had hot and continental option, juices and hot drinks. The hotel also has a bar and restaurant. The bar was great to enjoy and few drinks in with gentle acoustic music. The hotel was overall excellent and we have a wonderful stay. Highly recommended and I would definitely return.

I would give them 10 if possible. This hotel is very accessible to everything. Few feet away from Arlanda Express and Central Station. Their hotel lobby is very fancy with nice staff. No extra fee for early check in and luggage hold. Rooms are clean, with toiletries so you don’t need to worry about bringing it with you. The winning part is the healthy free breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel!

Really enjoyed my time at the Nordic Light. The bed/pillows were comfortable and water pressure was great. I was a little worried about facing the street but the windows were quite soundproof. There were a couple of spots here and there that could have done with a deeper clean but nothing that obvious. The breakfast buffet is really big and quite delicious! I looked forward to it each morning and even craved it after leaving. The proximity to the Central station is also incredibly convenient. Will stay again.

I had a great stay at the Nordic Light hotel, which is perfectly suited next to the Arlanda express. The rooms are very clean and modern, the breakfast is fantastic and the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. In particular, Stephanie went above and beyond to help me with a specific request, and was very patient despite being very busy. Will absolutely be back!

The front desk was amazing when we checked in and out. At the start they arranged a take away breakfast for us as we had to check out before 4am. The room was very clean and well equipped. The location is so close to the airport train and many local restaurants and shopping options. If I am ever in Stockholm again I would definitely stay here!
