We
stayed
here
during
a
heat
wave,
August
13-20,
2022.
The
room
was
really
hot
and
stuffy.
We
asked
the
front
desk
about
air
conditioning,
it
didn’t
seem
to
be
working.
They
sent
housekeeping
to
show
us
how
to
use
it.
Housekeeping
could
not
figure
it
out.
So
the
front
desk
person
went
to
our
room.
They
couldn’t
figure
it
out
either.
So
they
submitted
a
maintenance
ticket.
Apparently
air
conditioning,
if
it
exists,
requires
expert
help
to
use.
We
asked
a
few
times
over
the
first
three
days,
but
never
heard
anything
more
about
it.
We
asked
about
switching
to
a
different
room,
which
did
not
have
full
sun
exposure
in
the
afternoon.
They
said
they
were
full
at
the
time,
but
they
would
take
a
note
of
our
request.
We
asked
a
few
more
times
during
the
first
three
days,
and
each
time
it
was
“we’ll
check
later
and
let
you
know”.
They
never
let
us
know.
As
noted
in
other
reviews,
there
is
a
very
popular
nightlife
scene
nearby.
That
may
be
appealing
for
some,
but
if
you
are
opening
your
window
in
order
to
get
some
relief
from
the
heat
at
night,
the
noise
(until
5am,
bar
closing
time)
is
not
nice.
We
stayed
in
a
“superior
room”.
The
room
itself
was
ok,
but
there
were
not
many
horizontal
surfaces
in
the
bedroom
area.
The
decor
is
eclectic,
if
I
am
being
generous.
There
was
a
big
picture
of
a
strangely
unpleasant
royal
guy
on
the
wall.
Lastly,
I
was
double
charged
for
the
stay.
The
room
was
prepaid
by
my
company’s
travel
agency,
but
my
card
was
charged
also.
The
hotel
has
agreed
to
refund
the
extra
charges,
but
they
want
a
bank
account
#.
I
asked
if
they
could
just
reverse
the
charge
on
the
credit
card.
They
are
not
sure.
That
requires
expert
research
also
…
