Good place to stay if you're on a budget and are on this side of the city, otherwise it's a bit off. The place looks nice and the breakfast is good. The rooms are basic and the shower is the either-scorching-or-freezing kind, but other than that it's okay.

The rooms do NOT have air conditioning! It is just a fan and it does not work well. The room was uncomfortably hot despite the cool overnight weather, with no ability to open any windows to cool or air out the room. Rooms are small but comfortable. Bathroom is really small but functional. Staff are all super nice and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. Loved the bread, pastries, fruit, cheese, and coffee. Location is not bad but also not ideal. More restaurants near Skanstull metro station, so you may end up walking a fair amount after a long day out. Really nice lobby and a good place to have a glass of wine after a busy day.

I was really impressed with this hotel. It is right next to a tram and bus stop that takes you into the city within a couple minutes. Two doors down is a big supermarket that has amaaaazing cardamom rolls. The beds are so comfortable and so are the covers/blankets. The shower is clean and they have soap/shampoo. I never heard any sounds from outside and I actually liked the tall ceilings. The 24 hour front desk was also very useful because we arrived around midnight. All in all, it was a great experience.

If google had minus rating system, i would give it to you. you don't even deserve one star. I am staying this hotel right now, there are kids running in the hallway what kind of hotel is this( sunday at 08 am)? Their air condonation is not working in the middle of winter!!! When i reported it to the responsible guy he said “yes our air conditioner system is not enough you can take additional heater”. The heater could not warmer itself even. Walls are not sound prof you can hear next neighbours breating, hotel is not warm. If you respect yourself dont stay here. I have traveled more than 10 countries, i have not run into such a miserable hotel. Edit: no i am not there, i stayed one night, i can suggest that you can heat the rooms before your guest come(because i wrote you to keep my reservation you knew i will come) this is not an excuse, still not recommending.

Rooms are too cold, the heating doesn't work. It's only a climate. But rooms and personal are nice. The public transport station is in front of the door. Good Supermarkt and pharmacy are in the same house.

The rooms are OK and the hotel is very nice and colorful. But the heating is not really working in the middle of winter and that is unacceptable... I was so cold, the next day I took a heater from the reception. It was a bit better but not much - heater too small for the room. Also no possibility to make a tea (it is free and available at the reception but not in the room to heat you up). After so cold night I got a terrible headache :(

This is an outstanding budget hotel, asked for a quiet room, got accommodated at the end of the hotels corridor. Absolutely perfect for a city holiday, good connections and very friendly service. If you book on the hotel website, breakfast was included and for us it was completely acceptable and enough. Thank you! Do not worry about the connections to town, the hotel is well connected and it is not hard to find or get to the sights!

I really liked this hotel, it is clean, beautiful, and location also is good. Rooms are big enough. Breakfast also good and tasty. For the money this is really good option where to stay in Stockholm. Staff is very friendly. Will stay here next time for sure.

Friendly staff, well equipped gym, good bed. Close to public transport. could have been more clean in some places but had a pleasant stay.

Motel L is actually a 3 and half star hotel. The rooms a clean, quiet, but quite small with barren furniture, The beds are soft but I still slept rather well. There are only 2 mugs in a whole room and there is not much room for your travel bags. Breakfast was decent, noting luxurious but quite enough for me (bread was good!). Service was a bit pedestrian, but okay ( I did not need much service ). Location was excellent as the tram to the Tunnelbana station was just in front of the hotel. The Medborgarplats is some 15 minutes of walking distance. Overall: I still recommend this hotel as it is cheap and I had no major issues with service, room or breakfast and location is excellent. It took some 17 minutes from City Terminal to the hotel.

Modern hotel with good facilities and service on a fine location. Rooms are good as well, but mind that windows can't be opened (although that might not be a good idea anyway with the neighbouring heat plant) but the climate control is not working properly.

The staff was super friendly but there’s no ventilation and you can’t open the windows. Not ideal when it’s so warm outside. The cleaning of the rooms was always a hit and miss. Most of the time a miss. When we arrived we noticed what it probably was a coffee cup stain in one night stands. Well the stain stayed with us the 3 nights we slept there. All being said, great staff and very close to the city centre, with the train in front of the motel.

Excellent place to stay in Stockholm. Not super centric but the tram is 5 steps away and it takes less than 15 minutes to get to the city. It's walkable distance if you like walks, not too bad and the area is really nice. There is a supermarket and a bakery next door. Free coffee is offered in the hotel lobby, not in the rooms, but you can take it with you. Rooms are nice and comfortable, shower is really good. Great gym. Definitely recommend.

The staff who was packing up after breakfast only bothers to greet white guests. Housekeeping was very rude and I complained at reception. I came back to the hotel later to a sloppy room so she must have gotten irritated. Staff at reception pretended she could not see which was my luggage when I came to fetch it later (what is the purpose of the tag??) Lastly, I asked same staff at reception where I could get a taxi and she didn't bother to offer to call one. After I failed to find one outside after 10 minutes, I came back to the hotel to ask for help and I asked the staff member why she didn't offer it previously. Her response: "I thought you would call one by yourself".

Great value (best book via the Motel L website. Breakfast included for the same price). Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast is excellent, but nothing warm other than boiled eggs. Rooms are cozy but small. We had a good view of the backyard. Sounds boring but it meant it was very quiet. The whole hotel is a bit worn down and sometimes the lobby wasn't really clean. Small flaws here and there. Beds were very soft. 4,5/5.

Very small bathrooms and rooms, with no good working shower but overall chic ambience. Shower towels were taken but no new ones were put down. On request at the reception, we were promised that we would receive one in 10 minutes in the room. That worked out with a little longer waiting time. Both elevators did not work for half a day, which could be very annoying for people with walking difficulties.

Very spacious, clean, and quiet rooms at Motel L, which is located immediately in front of a transit stop and close to many nice restaurants and sights. Breakfast had a good variety and staff were very friendly. The hotel wifi was surprisingly stable and better than what I usually experienced at hotels. Plus, all of this came at an extremely good price.

Nice rooms, basic but functional. The shower and toilet was good. We stayed in a room with bunks for kids and large bed for adults. All drinks is in the lobby only and there are reataurants around the place. Go for a walk along the river to the far end really nice before sunset about 45min walk there and back see below.

We visit Stockholm for two days. Positives: We had a great large family room, large bathroom, both very clean. The staff is very friendly, the hotel looks modern and stylish. Breakfast was great, they even have creamy eggs, not those rock hard boiled ones. ICA store and public transportation at the door. Improvable: the hotel room was a little bit noisy and in our room you couldn't open the windows. Stairwell couldn't have more frech air. But all in all a pleasant stay, we will be happy to come back.

Other than no hot breakfast this hotel was one of the best in our entire Scandinavian trip. Lovely people. Our room was very spacious with comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious as well.

Close to the center with the tram right in front of the entrace. Rooms not too small and very quiet. One of the coziest hotel beds we ever slept in.

This hotel is quite nice, for the price it is very good. The shower and faucet looked a little dirty but other then that the rooms were really good. If you’re staying here for anything related to AVICII ARENA or TELE 2 arena the location is perfect. If you are looking to go to Stockholm central it is easy with local transportation and will take about 15-20 min.

Overall very good place in a great location. The room was very good, but not really clean ok some surfaces. Great design. Cheap parking outside the hotel. All good except some of the personell which had troubles to take paying. Maybe a new job, who knows. No shampoo in the bathroom. Great lobby and unlimited coffee 👌

Very Nice Hotel. Well designed, Clean, good service from Staff, paid street parking available. Very close to public transport. Their breakfast spread is good and their bar prices are resonable. I will recommed this hotel for couples to stay. Families larger than 3 may feel cramped in the room.

Surprisingly good room and motel. Great service, good breakfast and great that to you can sleep out and still get breakfast to 11.00. The decorations was perhaps not to my taste, but can definitely see myself going back!

Very convenient location and good prices. The color scheme makes for a nice atmosphere. But some little details spoiled the stay a bit, like the stained duvet corners coming out of the open duvet covers, or the fact that you can run out of shower gel/shampoo in the middle of your first shower.

Despite an initial hiccup upon arrival, due to my booking and no fault of the hotel, the stay was very nice, room was nice, location fairly central with transportation and restaurants right outside, as well as a supermarket. Rooms were clean and quiet. Gym was decent with kettlebells too!

Reasonably priced accommodation offers clean room with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast buffet was also included in my price. Great location for those attending a concert at Fryshuset which is literally around the corner. Tram stop right outside the door.

Amazing place with wonderful service. My husband needed a pair of scissors for my clothing problem and they did their best to get us some. They were very friendly and check in /check out were very easy. My favorite part about this hotel was the shower and the bed was comfortable and clean.

Super friendly staff, best shower ever, great lobby area, near to the boat round the back, subway close by, 15minute walk to Sofo (look it up), comfiest beds of any 5* hotel anywhere in the world, free tea and coffee, amazing cinnamon buns in supermarket on the corner, tram right outside. Chilled vibe. For the price this cannot be beaten. Our thanks to Felicia, Rebecka, Saman & May - top staff. If you read reviews about this not being in the middle of town - that’s exactly the point of it. Go to the centre if that’s what you wish for. This has a cool residential vibe and is great for investigating the hipster areas and you can jump on the Metro and Tram and be anywhere in no time at all. Our favourite was to use the boat service round the back to go straight to Djurgarden - the best bakery is just at the boat stop called Backstage right next to Abba museum. Enjoy !

SUPER, managed to get a early check-in already at 8 am, for very reasonable extra cost of course!!! Saved our trip, fortunate that previous night was not full so not available at any time. Room was good as were the beds. Had to leave already at 06.30 at the next morning. We got very good take-away breakfast with us. 10 + for Motel L

This place exceeded our expectations. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Upon arrival, we were greeted by (did not get her name) the Filipina lady and she was awesome. The room and lobby were extremely clean. We asked for more blankets and without hesitation, the other front desk lady gave us some. ' I would say that the location is not bad at all. There is a supermarket in the same building (mixed-use building) and the transportation is right in front. It took us about 20 minutes to get downtown. Overall, great experience!

We stayed at this motel for only two nights, we arrived pretty late at night but the staff was still very kind and accommodating. The room and the bathroom both were clean and big. Breakfast wasn’t included but we got it added as an extra for not much, there was a big selection of salty and sweet stuff to eat, coffee, orange and apple juice.
