We were extremely excited to hear that an Indian restaurant would open in Ekerö. We have visited twice now am unfortunately we won't be rushing back in a hurry. The staff are friendly but the food we have had is below average and tastes bland, the portions are really small compared to other Indian restaurants I have been to and the prices are on the high side especially with the combination of the food quality and size. I really hope that they can turn this around.

Spice of India was a misnomer. My takeaway Jalfrezi was the least tasty curry I've ever bought, and I'm nearly 50 years old and from the uk: (I've had a lot of curry). My sambo had palak paneer and it was equally flavourless. There was plenty of lamb in my dish, but it was overcooked and chewy. The overall portion size felt a bit small, particularly as it was not very cheap. The Chili cheese naan was bland and not at all spicy, but the bread itself was fine. As a local who loves Indian food, I'm so disappointed that I wanted to take the time to do a review.

I recently dined at Spice of India, and it was a delightful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with a perfect blend of flavors and spices that truly captured the essence of Indian cuisine. What stood out even more was the warm and welcoming owner, who ensured our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend Spice of India for a memorable culinary journey through the flavors of India.

Unfortunately, our visit to Spice of India in Ekerö didn't live up to our expectations. The portions were quite small, and the flavors of the food left much to be desired. It was a rather disappointing experience.
