😠 Bought coffee here as my usual place was closed. Bought a chocolate ball, a bisque and a "love treat". Of these, only the chocolate ball could be eaten. The others tasted dusty and like they had been left out for days and had to be thrown away immediately. Would definitely not recommend this cafe. People often mention coffee, good,

Anyone can claim their coffee is good (they do), but here they don't deliver. In particular the espresso was incredibly over extracted

Simple coffee shop that does it right. I wouldn’t compare it vs other specialty coffee shop, because it’s not. It really is a good shop that does coffee right. All 3 of my cups were well extracted. Good beans, good body, not acidic, more nutty and chocolatey. If this is the taste profile you are after then this is the right place.

Loved it. Very good coffee, interesting breakfast combinations, not too much choice.

Kind owner, but was surprised that this place got Gulddraken for Café as their stuff was just avarage. Then I saw that they changed the owner after getting the prize, which explains it all.

I actually prefer the cafe next door which may seem more touristy but I found the coffee much nicer. They also do not have toilets here and the pastry was quite dry. Great out door seating area.

Super nice food, good drinks, free water. The guy who works/owns(?) the place, Alberto, was super friendly and helped me with my Swedish

Great place to take a coffee and a bite efter walking along the very long Drottninggatan. The espresso is good aswell Cappuccino also. But I find the price 50 sek for a islatte to much! Aswell Brygg is also a bit expensive. Nice staff. The guest toilet is for midgets. :)

A little step far from super commercial part of drottninggattan, café esaias is a cozy place where specialty coffee and good fresh food are made with love. Enjoy the little terrace after or before a crazy time shopping or just take time for fika while discovering the area

Good and fresh food, but not special enough for 5 stars.

Esaias is pretty good for a quick coffee stop as it's located in a walkable corner to the central shopping street. From what I have seen so far it usually gets crowded in weekends. I was not too impressed by the Americano I ordered, it was balanced in a good standard. What I really appreciated was the sliced cinnamon bun. Great for a quick bite then continue to stroll around!

I am sorry but this was my worst speciality coffee plase I have ever visited. I am very surprised that this place is included into must visit/recommended coffee shops in Stocholm. First, the only person who could make coffee just started working there, and seems that had no barista experience and had no idea how to make coffee. To get a cortado took over 20 minutes. Who leaves a trainee to work all alone on a day one? Moreover, while we were waiting for our coffee two new customers droped in the shop and were served in 2 minutes, while we kept waiting. Coffee was too acidic and bitter and the interior was not anyhow unique either. Definitely a place not to go to!

Highly recommend. Food made with really good quality ingridients, great quality coffee. Relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere...
