Bringed sparkling wine instead of order coca cola’s and as asked to pay for it later, pizzas were just heated from freezer, waiters were with dirty clothes, said that they didn’t care about reviews. Biggest scam ever. Never ever go there.

I had lunch there today, friendly servants, and delicious food. Sure its a bit costly but it's in the city center near the water. Now seeing all the bad comments I'm lucky to say our stay was perfect.

Food was good, waiters were kind and servicial. Worth for the price, and great place.

After a long day of walking, we settled on this place for a beer and meatballs. I loved the meatballs and we had a great time enjoying the weather on the patio. Small menu which is perfect. Wait staff was attentive. No complaints.

Absolute lovely restaurant on the square. We had desert and wine. Delicious!

Very good welcome but it hides a scam. They try to charge more for drinks. 6.5€ for peanuts. Makes fun of the customers as we disputed the prices. I would not recommend this place

The fried herring dish was great - would eat it again. However, the swedish meatballs are not good - look elsewhere. The waiter was great! The tables here are not standing straight, somewhat awkward.

On a rainy and blustery day we popped in and had a nice cappuccino, antipasto and meatballs and they hit the mark. Kind staff nice cozy location. Definitely caters to tourists - but that is what we were today.

Once the food arrived, it tasted and looked like it was frozen whole that had been reheated. Five ordered colas for SEK 49/piece came in completely different glass sizes, one got about 33 cl and the other about 50 cl. The waiter brought them without a tray and was spilling half out of the overflowing glasses. To top it all off, there were hairs in the food. Definitely not recommended but avoid going here. Unfortunately, there is no name on the place or the menus, so there is a risk that you will sit down by mistake before you understand where you have ended up... There is another place right next to it on the left which seems to have a completely different standard.

Great local beer, tasty fish and chips in very large protion (shared it with wife, we both felt full). Nice service with prices much cheaper then other places near by.

In my boyfriend's and in my lasagna (too small both) there were a big insect in each one. I asked to change them. To have new lasagnas. They let me waiting so long to receive the same pieces of lasagna. They just took the insects. They should improve their service. It is in a very important neighbourhood in Stockolm, so we were expectig to have a good experience.

Where do I start first the waiter brought the wrong food to our table and until we basically flagged him down, he finally brought it to the right table. Also, we ordered a lasagna Bolognese and it was like a slab of melted cheese with some salad. No flavor at all. I would not recommend this place ever!

I had caprese, and a margarita pizza. The food was delicious and definitely filled me up. Food comes very fast and is good to go there when hungry.

nice cafe, good people. I tried fried herrings with mashed potato here for dinner. they used fresh ingredients and I like the combination of their creamy mushy mashed potato and juicy cranberry sauce.

Food was messed up. One plate was a microwaved frozen meal. Fries were atrocious. Soft drinks were lukewarm. If I'd have checked reviews we would not have eaten at this establishment.

My family and I got there wanting to drink a coffee for half an hour. The owner (I assume) sat down at our table and told us that he cannot serve us because he wants us to order ‘wine, drinks, and alcohol’. I am also working in Horeca and I can have some understanding that it might be annoying/non-profitable to have us just for coffees but I am sure that there are better ways to send this message across.

A good place to make a stop to have a gold Swedish beer while looking at the pedestrian roads of the old town

This was a cute little cafe. The gelato and coffee were delicious. The smell was sweet and fantastic. The hand made in store cones were really great, I usually don't eat the cone, but I did here.

VORSICHT TOURISTENFALLE!!! Das Essen war nach sehr langer Wartezeit lediglich lauwarm. Der Fisch mit einer absurd dicken Panade versehen. Geschmacklich unterdurchschnittlich. Die Vorspeise wurde vergessen und dann nachgereicht (Toast mit seeehr wenig Knoblauch sollte „Garlic Bread“ sein). Der Kellner machte keinen Hehl daraus, das er keine Lust hatte zu arbeiten. Dazu kamen gesalzene Preise. Insgesamt kann man jeder Person davon abraten hier zu essen.

OK restaurant. It really feels like a tourist trap but it’s not that bad. The location is really nice with a huge terrace. Inside, it’s a little dark and old but it’s ok. The food is really classic Italian and not amazing but edible. The prices are not too high. You could find a better place in the same neighborhood than this I think.

I had meatballs, chips and lingonberry jam, and it’s probably as good as IKEA but the service and atmosphere aren’t quite the same. But, I love IKEA, so if you’re in the area, it’s not all bad, but it’s not good either. I left with cold feet, so don’t go here to warm up! ❄️😂

They were super friendly and helpful. We got recommendations according to our interests and complimentary vegan desserts as he heard that one of my friends is vegan. :) the meatballs were amazing! Homemade, and the hot chocolate with homemade cream was delightful! Thank you!

I visited Jerntorgiths Cafe after walking past it a couple of times during my Stockholm trip. A small place located in the heart of the very touristy Gamla Stan, the chance of finding a local in here is very, very slim. However I didn't come here for the locals, it was the Swedish meatballs that were advertised outside that drew me in and they did not disappoint. Savoury and well made, this typical food was well balanced with the lingonberries and mashed potatoes although I missed the pickled cucumbers I had with it at other places. The fresh one didn’t give that sweet taste that cleanses your palate as well as the pickled ones. The local vibe is not really strong here, it's more of a cafe that you walk into, have a quick bite and leave again. I've seen similar places in Paris, London, and other big cities. It doesn't invite you to stay here with friends and hide out against the Scandinavian cold. If you want a place like that, I recommend you look elsewhere.

The cafe situated in the city center. Has very nice prices in comparison with other places from the Centre. Very nice place, and very tasty food. The salad with shrimps really has a lot of shrimps! I like it :)

Very friendly staff. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We would eat there again.

Very poor experience. In my opinion one of the worst locals I've been in my life to be honest. This is not meant to be a rant of the place more like an honest review from a person who himself worked within gastro for years. Personnel unprofessional and hygiene standards pretty poor with the table being not prepared from previous customers. The food especially the schnitzel was absolutely uneatble as the meat was not properly prepared and it stinked with old oil. The glasses proportioned were not clean at all and the water *St. Pellegrino* as from a previous review tasted more like tap water. My partner had Swedish meatballs as wanting to try a proper Swedish cuisine experience for the first time but the meat was raw and not finished cooked. I definitely do not recommend this place as its a tourist trap to make easy money from a top tier location being near the well known Gamla Stan.

Warning!!! A disastrous experience to say the least. 7 in the party. Everyone was unhappy with their food. (2 caesar salad, 5 hamburgers) The same drink came in different glasses and not at the same time, which in itself is proof of a non-serious place. 3 got hair in their food, burgers that were inedible, french fries that make mcdonalds fries look outstanding. The pizza on the neighboring table looked like the kind you buy at Willys and heat in the oven. The arrangement on the plate was under all criticism. Nobody ate their food. A typical example of a tourist trap that many unfortunately fall into. Finally paid for 3/7 dishes Never let hungry children choose the restaurant :)
