It has a classic city centre park vibe. There's a bunch of different people there: some on coffee breaks, some in suits, some drinking beer, parents with strollers and teens meeting up. The fountain is really nice, the sound resonates the park - blended with the sounds of the city. Close by you have the metro and a host of cafe's and bars. It's also walking distance to Slussen. I personally drank vodka there with some friends before hitting the bars - it's cheaper that way 😃

Love this tiny park. Very central and a nice fountain, but would have been nicer if the kids could get into it and play.

Awesome park. After 10 years of going there, I noticed there is some kind of automated underground trash cremation system. There was a rumbling from below and I noticed the trash can had venting fixed into the base, behind the grating. It was pretty cool and strange. If anyone can provide a link to this system and perhaps the design specs, that'd be awesome. I wish to know the wonders of the underground Mariatorget furnace monster... :)
