Sannadalsparken
is
a
park
and
playground
at
GröndalsvÀgen
43
in
the
district
of
Gröndal
in
southern
Stockholm
within
Stockholm
municipality.
Sannadalsparken
stretches
along
the
southern
side
of
GröndalsvÀgen
opposite
the
district's
well-known
Terrasshus.
To
the
west,
the
building
for
Gröndal's
church
connects.
Officially,
the
slope
of
Sannadalsberget
right
up
to
the
buildings
in
the
neighborhood
Ljuskronan
and
Ljussaxen
also
belong
to
Sannadalsparken,
as
does
the
part
road
that
stretches
between
the
buildings
to
Charlottendal.
The
park
area
at
GröndalsvÀgen
was
originally
laid
out
in
the
early
1940s
with
a
playground,
ball
field
and
splash
pad.
A
wall
prevented
the
children
from
rushing
out
onto
the
heavily
trafficked
GröndalsvÀgen.
In
the
1990s,
the
park's
play
areas
were
upgraded
and
expanded.
Between
the
years
2011
and
2012,
the
park
underwent
a
total
redesign,
with,
among
other
things,
a
new
splash
pool,
new
play
equipment
and
a
skateboard
track.
There
is
also
a
sand
court
for,
for
example,
bowling.
During
the
inauguration
of
the
new
park
on
September
28,
2012,
the
group
Cool
Pans
performed
playing
oil
drums.
The
park
got
its
name
from
the
now-disappeared
farm
Sannadal,
built
around
1885
and
named
after
Susanna
"Sanna"
Dahl
(1850-1921),
wife
of
the
farm's
first
owner,
war
archivist
Carl
Johan
Lovén.
Sannadal
was
located
directly
west
of
the
Charlottendal
property,
approximately
at
today's
SannadalsvÀgen.
The
farm
was
demolished
at
the
end
of
the
1930s
when
the
area
was
developed
by
Stockholmshem
with
a
few
children's
houses.
Here
is
also
the
oldest
part
of
Sannadalsparken,
which
was
laid
out
in
the
late
1930s.
