I
have
been
to
Fröjdas
a
couple
of
times.
Once
about
a
year
ago
and
the
second
time
this
winter.
It
is
a
fully
vegan
restaurant.
During
this
winter
they
had
a
special
Christmas
menu
with
a
vegan
take
on
the
traditional
Swedish
Christmas
food.
The
place
itself
is
very
cozy.
Lot
of
light
hanging
and
decorated
in
a
way
that
makes
you
feel
like
you
are
in
a
garden
even
though
you
are
inside.
It
is
hard
to
find
a
places
like
this.
It
is
truly
unique.
The
Christmas
menu
consisted
of
three
plates:
cold
dishes,
warm
dishes
and
self-serve
dessert.
It
is
a
buffet,
although
compared
to
other
restaurants,
you
tell
the
staff
whenever
you
want
more
of
something.
The
food
mimics
traditional
dishes
but
with
fully
vegan
ingredients.
Salmon
is
replaced
with
well-cooked
carrots,
the
herring
is
done
with
mushrooms
and
aubergine
etc.
Overall
it
was
very
well
composed
dishes
and
you
can
tell
that
they
have
created
the
dishes
from
ground
up
to
suit
vegans.
The
price
was
a
little
bit
expensive
for
the
regular
menu,
the
Christmas
menu
is
about
the
same
as
other
restaurant.
Consider
this
a
little
bit
more
of
a
fine-dining.
Overall
I
was
happy
with
the
food.
There
are
a
lot
of
dishes
that,
as
a
vegan,
you
can
only
get
here.
I
personally
think
it
is
worth
the
money
and
I
would
recommend
people
to
visit
Fröjdas.
