Great hotel. A bit pricey, but you get a lot of value for that. Great location: direct bus connection to the airport, metro station is two minutes away, you are in Stockholm central within 15-20 minutes. Supermarkets and restaurants literally around the corner. Awesome breakfast with a large variety of food, fruit basket, optional paper cups for coffee if you are in a hurry, cozy atmosphere. During day and evening, the breakfast area is used as burger restaurant (Phil's Burger). Rooms are tidy, cleaned everyday, there is a room service, a safe, and complementary water bottles everyday. In general quiet - the tram passes right in front of the building, if you are sensitive to that. We liked it very much, definitive recommendation.

Great location within walking distance to the train and tram station, making getting central very simple and quick. Hotel staff are very friendly, and the room is nice. Really liked the bathroom and shower. They did provide a fan in the room since it does get warm, but the fan made it nice and cool enough to sleep.

Story Hotel Signalfabriken is located in Sundbyberg which is a 10 minute train ride from the city centre or about 20 minutes on the metro. It is about half an hour away from the airport, ARN. The advantage of the hotel is that you have plenty of restaurants and shopping around the hotel and the prices are better than centre of town and you are only a short ride away from everything. The hotel is located in what used to be a town hall and fire station, and the rooms are nice, unique and cosy and have very nice amenities. Whilst the hotel doesn't have it's own gym, they send you across the courtyard to a full service gym which is fantastic. The lobby area is also part of the restaurant and coffee shop and has plenty of space for both eating and working. Overall a great hotel at a good rate to explore Stockholm

This was my first stay at Story Hotel Signalfabriken, and to be honest, my first stay outside Stockholm City Center. First, the location: Story Signalfabriken has an incredibly convenient location. The Tvärbanen tram service is right outside, making for a convenient commute to Solna Business Park and other business locations along the route, even in inclement weather. For an airport commuter, the Flygbussarna transfer bus also stops right outside. For trips anywhere else in Stockholm, the Sundbyberg tunnelbana (underground) and pendeltåg (commuter rail) both stop nearby, meaning you are 10 minutes from central Stockholm and can easily transfer anywhere the subway goes. The hotel itself is comfortable and well-appointed. My room we especially spacious by Stockholm standards, with a queen bed and large-ish bathroom with shower. Amenities are of high quality; the botanical essences in the shower gel were especially refreshing. Breakfast is typical Swedish: fresh breads, meats, cheeses, vegetables were all available. No pickled herring, though - a disappointment for us hard-core Swedish cuisine fans. On the sweet side, they had three varieties of house-made muesli, including one with chocolate cookie pieces and a great cinnamon variety. Couple this with lots of yogurt and top with a great mixed berry compote and you're in for a treat. Lunch and dinnertime, Story Hotel serves up Phil's Burgers. Riding the wave of Stockholm burger greatness, Phil's creates juicy, tasty American-style burgers and thick milkshakes. This is definitely not Max or MickeyD's! The surrounding area has a variety of tasty pubs and restaurants, too. The Bishop's Arms, across the road from the hotel, has a great selection of beers on tap and an even better cooler. Highly recommended. In summary, the Story Hotel Signalfabriken is a great choice, whether you have business in Solna or just want a comfy base from which to operate on a Stockholm vacation. Update 2022: It's the same great hotel. Everything above still applies. There are many more good restaurants in the area, too. Still my go-to in this part of Stockholm.

+: great location even if outside central Stockholm, the reception is great, the design is stylish. -: however, some of the electric outlets needed repairing for safety reasons, some of the lights in the room were blinking continuously, and… the breakfast is very disappointing, not much variety at all, no pastries…

This would be 5 stars all around but the rooms are not soundproofed, and can be quite noisy. The room lighting is very low level (almost dark) but nice vibe. All the staff were super friendly and polite and really helpful. Location was perfect for local transportation and a great hotel for work clients.

SUPER! Werde definitiv wieder dort buchen! Very clean, nice and helpful staff and great designed rooms and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was rich. As a vegetarian I would only have wished for more than one type of cheese. But there was plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables and juices every morning. EXCELLENT! Will definitely book there again!

Slept well and really enjoyed the breakfast. You can see the train and pram station from the hotel entrance.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - FRAUDULENT HOTEL - DO NOT VISIT - First I am a globalist with Hyatt, the top tier of their loyalty program and have been for years. I had a booking here and I called to canceled my stay due to an unforeseen issue while in Sweden. I was assured it wasn’t a problem and was all taken care of. A few weeks later I was charged for the stay anyway. They stated their no show policy for the charge and ignored that I had called and cancelled. I have never experienced this. I contacted the globalist concierge who also didn’t do anything stating it was up to the local hotel. At this point I’m disputing the charge and Hyatt has lost my business. They stole my money. Completely fraudulent and unapologetic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location is great with walking distance to train, tram, and metro station. Our room was small but very stylish and well equipped. The bed was comfy. The restaurant on first floor served Scandinavian sttle breakfast in the morning and becomes a popular burger joint in the afternoon. The only concern we had was that the hotel does not use key but instead door code which may have security issue.

The service there was very good, all in all I found the hotel interior too dark. The ventilation in the room was rather loud, I couldn't switch it off manually, as it was centrally controlled.

If you get lucky, a very affordable and stylish place to stay in Stockholm. It's not super central, but close enough to the centre of the city after all. Breakfast was really good (try their special MĂĽsli!), and everyone friendly and forthcoming. Everything was clean and well-designed. Only downside: The area is quite loud if you have a room towards the road, so you might enjoy sleeping with windows closed.

Great location if you have business in Sundbyberg. The employees are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is nice.

The breakfast was a joke, at 0930 there were no bacon or even coffee mugs. Told the staff they had no clue how to run a breakfast. The rooms drain was clogged and the ventilation was filled with dust. We had to change room due to the noise from the restaurants.

Very nice hotel, coY room, helpful team and nice breakfast. Additionally very nice old school elevator. Metro and tram line nearby. Nice burgers downstairs.

Bad sound insulation (woke up to children stamping in the room above ours), too warm and therefore slept terribly bad & underwhelming breakfast. Toilet malfunction. In fairness to hotel though, I have not asked how to fix air conditioner or toilet.
