Do not stay here if you value your privacy! If you value your privacy do not stay at this hotel. My wife and I stayed at this hotel and drone of the staff used her keys to enter our room (101) while I was naked. There was a do not disturb sign outside the door when this happened. The staff didn’t knock or announce themselves in any way. Any responsible establishment will take responsibility and deal with it but they obviously don’t care. They acted like it was not a big deal. We asked for compensation for the intrusion and they refused. United Hotels Care have also contacted the hotel several times and they refused to offer a compensation for the flight intrusion. A hotel that is responsible will not allow their customers to be treated this way.

Gym is not always accessible so don't book here if you want to train, was refused access with both of the hotels cards with no explanation. Breakfast is overall very good. Would probably not stay here again.

Good located directly beneath the central station and busterminals there. Breakfast buffet was great and offered a wide variety of choices. Room was small but has a nice vibe. A bad thing is that you cannot open the windows - but from what I heard is that normal in hotels there. And what I really missed were electric outlets. In the bathroom there were no at all and in the room only one under the table and one beneath the entrance door also on the bottom. So a bit strange if you want to plug in a hair dryer or want to charge a mobile phone. But all in all very nice and to recommend.

Very good central location, yet tucked out of the way in a peaceful side street. Impressive reception area and residents' lounge. Fantastic customer service from Bjorn, a true gentleman, who went out of his way to help me in a difficult situation. My van, containing removal goods, was too large to park at the hotel and he kindly found me alternative accomodation with secure parking for my vehicle, giving me peace of mind. I would be very happy to stay at the Thon next time I am in Stockholm, with people like Bjorn on the staff team.

Great location, everything you need as a tourist is near hotel. Got a free upgrade of room. Had some electricity problem, but really nice staff solved it quickly. Good breakfast, luggage room available.

The hotel might seem value for money but the rooms don't have a window. Moreover, the hotel staff might seem nice at first but they charged my credit card wrongly and accused me on using minibar in the room which was a complete nonsense. My wife and I were astonished at this when we came back to our home country and the hotel staff did not do anything when I raised this issue with them at booking.com. Clearly the hotel is a fraud and can charge you extra for nothing and one cannot do anything about it. Only the location is good about the hotel. Please refrain from reserving the hotel.

The hotel charge us for an extra 1000SEK to get a window we can’t open. The airflow in the room was trash, so it was hard to sleep at night. The bed was to small. They also charged us for en extra 1000SEK because out room was to dirty. Never visit this place scammers.

This hotel and its staff were amazing. Our room was small but we only slept there. The breakfast was amazing, the staff so congenial, polite and helpful. If you are going to Stockholm, this is a great place to stay, very close to the train station too!

Short business trip, slept well in the room without windows. Cleanliness was good and also a big plus that it’s close to the central station. Breakfast was also nice. The room could maybe be modernized with outlets close to the bed or even USB ports but other than that, thumbs up.

It’s a perfect choice in the center, just next to the central station. Thanks to that it’s close to the old town and all main attractions. Standard rooms are tiny but cozy and clean - it’s cleaned every day. The breakfast is great- lots of choice, always something hot, a lot of cold things. The staff is very kind and helpful. Good job!

It is a very good hotel in general. It isn’t pricey. The location is on top of the central terminal, where you can find pretty much all types of transport to take you around Stockholm. We booked a Queen room without windows + a Superior room (the only option available to fit 3 beds). The room was very clean and cosy. My wife loved the mattress, although I felt that is a bit soft for me. I highly recommend you book with breakfast. It is amazing. The staff is friendly and willing to help you.

We (two people) booked a room for Sept 13th-14th but due to the train connection we only stayed there during the day, resting, and couldn't stay over night. The room was nice, clean and well equipped with a few bags of tea, a water boiler, a small fridge and a comfortably big bathroom. Even though it didn't have a window it was really nice. The common area is big and comfy and you can buy snacks and ice cream there. There's also a restaurant and a bar we would have liked to check out but couldn't. The staff was extraordinary. The two receptionists and the bartender were incredibly helpful and warm in meeting our needs as people who try to live vegan and have tons of food allergies. Since we couldn't stay for our breakfast in the morning, we got a caringly packed breakfast bag which really moved us. The receptionist really made an effort to pack us something vegan. We will absolutely come here again the next time we come to Stockholm! :)

Great central location. Friendly staff. Very reasonable price, yummy breakfast and complimentary hot drinks 24/7. Room was on the small size but was comfortable and had everything we required. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Location is great. Great value for money. Good breakfast, though lots of people. Since I spdnd most of my time outside the hotel, I didn't care about the small room and lack of window (which was know to me at the moment I performed tbd booking). Think of it like a nice ibis without windows and it's fine.

Excellent location, amazing included breakfast and free coffee + tea in the lounge. Friendly and helpful personal. The rooms are small and not exactly luxurious and many have no windows or power sockets near the bed. But the price is reasonable for that and affordable for Stockholm. So I would recommend this hotel, if you don't plan to spend much time in the room.

I do not recommend the hotel as there are serious unprofessionalism and privacy violation: I was a visitor of the hotel along with the person that shares the same business client. He has been charged for my minibar expense and all the details about the product was sent to him. Please note reservations were done from two different Booking.com accounts, different credit cards and had different invoices. He's got the response from the property, quoting: "I recommend you to ask him for a transfer of this 25 SEK". When booking, please consider that you may be charged twice by the hotel. And, what's more important - other persons (including business people that you relate to) may be informed about your private expenses and they may be charged for it!!

Perfect location, close to all accesses. Breakfast is great with a lot of offer. Rooms don't have a perfect view but they look great. I was not a big fan of the bed but it was alright. Bonus points for the free coffee/hot chocolate. Would stay again.

Great breakfast (a mark of all the Thon Hotels actually). The staff was very nice and so was the cleaning department who did their job including during the Christmas days. The only drawbacks: the room was quite small even though we chose the big one with a window and so was the bed which in my opinion doesn't qualify for a double given its width of only 1.3 ( on the website the dimensions are different). Overall a pleasant experience.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. First I was concerned about the windowless room, but it actually didn’t bother me so much as we just needed the room to sleep. For the price rate, the room size and bed was comfortable, breakfast spread was better than we expected with good selection of cold and warm breakfast. Coffee is available for free at the hotel lobby all day and they have nice big space for lounging or working. Customer service was pleasantly great. We requested for late check out and it was ok (and if you’d sign up for the hotel membership which doesn’t cost anything). Location is the best as it’s within nice walking distance to everywhere in the Stockholm city center. And if you don’t want to walk, metro station and other public transportation are just nearby too. - Stayed in January 2024 for two nights.

Wish I could plot in 0 stars, cause the service at this place is the worst service I have ever come across in Sweden. As has been written in previous reviews they offer absolutely no help when you inquire altering your booking - which I tried to another date. Refunds are completely out of the question.

Instantly when I entered room without windows I realised it was quite warm and damp, so I asked if I could get my money back and go to another hotel. The friendly staff tried to help me but their system would allow me to get a refund. I could barely sleep in the ill ventilated room and the following day at work was quite a challenge.

Receptionists were so welcoming, helpful and so nice in general. Unfortunately rooms had no windows, awful decoration and once in a while a weird smell....location just ok a bit of central station but not the best.

I wanted a cheap, clean, centrally-located room for a couple of nights, and that's exactly what I got. I stayed in a room without windows and it was ideal for my needs. Staff were helpful and friendly, lobby area had a nice vibe. Will definitely stay here again! Buffet breakfast was really good.

Not worth opting for a room with a window as the view is nothing special. The room was clean, with minimal space and equipment. The beds were good; someone who typically has issues with hotel beds was pleased. Additionally, I overheard a comment at breakfast about the good beds. Having a smart TV and free WiFi was nice. Unfortunately, the TV service was down the first night but worked the rest of the time. The breakfast was good, but the breakfast area was a bit crowded. All the staff I encountered were super friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff and a splendid lobby/bar, very cozy. Falafel for breakfast? Yes please! Sadly no washing machine though. And the hallway is a bit of a maze.

The room is a no frills room and it is on the smaller side. Having said that we had a great stay for six nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had two minor issues with the room and they were fixed right away. When we needed to find a laundry on short notice the front desk called around and found a laundry that could take care of us within an hour. The breakfast buffet is outstanding with a wide variety of items and it is continually restocked. The common area by the front desk is very comfortable and we spent a couple evenings there having drinks from the “bar.” The hotel is a short walk from the train station and an easy walk to the historic parts of Stockholm. We would gladly stay there again.

We spent a few days in Stockholm through Christmas and this hotel turned out to be a great choice. It's located right next to the central station so access is easy. Staff are helpful and friendly. The room is quite comfy. Very nice breakfast is provided. Some rooms don't have windows but there is a spacious lounge with plenty of room to seat down, chat to friends or work/study. Free coffee, tea and glögi is a great bonus!

The best stay of my 3 week vacation. Great location A good value especially with the hearty breakfast. And the service was great. My interaction with staff was always good and I want to mention the receptionist, Sandra who was very attentive. Thank you

This is a great hotel for the price. The rooms are efficient. If you can live out of a suitcase you will be fine. They are as described. The breakfast is great and makes the value even better. It is close to both train and bus transportation. Making it easy to move around the city. If I'm ever back I will stay here again.

A great hotel, with very friendly staff, in a perfect location in the middle of Stockholm with an amazing breakfast that includes halal, vegan, gluten free and lactose free options. The room was a bit small, but very good for the price nevertheless

A somewhat worn down hotel in the middle of the city. The price is more than reasonable though and it’s not bad by any stretch of the imagination. The rooms are more spacious than what you’d find in a newer place, and the bar is nice. The breakfast area somewhat cramped.

Extremely cold room, cleaned by a person that had een sweating profusely and since there was little ventilation the smell stayed, the staff cleaning the tables next to me and the buffet with detergent during the breakfast. Not recommended.

With the price and location in mind, this is a great hotel. This is the second time I visit First Hotel Kungsbron, and I will come back the next time as well. Of course, the rooms are dark, but then again, when I'm in Stockholm, I'm not inside at a hotel, so I feel like as long as the bed is comfortable and it feels safe, I'm happy. The staff are super friendly and helpful, fresh rooms and bathrooms.

Solid choice of hotel for a stay in Stockholm. Very close to the central station provinding you quick access to other locations. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was enjoyable offering a comprehensive set of options

Great location, very helpful staff especially Erik who warned us about delays at the airport which allowed us to (just) catch our flight. The rooms without windows are both a pro and a con. It improves sleep but I’m used to waking up to natural light so I overslept twice and this wasn’t ideal. The breakfast was good. Much better than many places I’ve stayed. The table game at the front of reception was an interesting experience too.

Perfect location for central train station, the cheaper rooms have no windows which was perfect for a good nights sleep. Breakfast is fantastic with lots of options. Friendly and polite staff, very clean rooms would define you recommend and will be staying here again on my next visit to Stockholm.

Location was great. Close to everything. Breakfast was really good. Lots to choose from. Very smiling and nice ladies in the reception. A bit strange to have a room without windows, but it worked. Only thing, I couldn't see how the weather was that day, until I got out😀

Very satisfied with the services of the hotel and especially with the services of the staff. Breakfast included, unlimited coffee and water, relaxation area. I recommend.

Great location and a fairly comfortable room. Me and my friend shared a room so it did seem a bit cramped but would be fine for a solo traveller. The only downside is the lack of windows and ventilation. The hotel has a super breakfast though.

Very well located downtown Stockolm. Staff is super nice and helpful. They yielded an early check-in (11 vs standard 15) at no additional cost. Room 605, 1 floor down from reception, sits just above street level and faces a building in a back hallway. The room is small with a twin size bed tucked in a wall niche, ok for one person but not suitable for a couple. The room window does not open. The air conditioning is remotely operated in energy sensitive mode: that means the air is totally still. Not great given Stockholm humidity. The smell of dampness is quite evident. Even worst after taking a shower: at that point the room becomes a steam room. I had to ask for a fan and leave the door open, in order to circulate some air. The desk is quite small. No place to work at a laptop of to stretch your legs while sitting. The gym is in a different building. Customers need to retrieve the key at the reception, and walk about 5 minutes outdoor. Be prepared to wear a jacket for the commute, during winter. Gym time 5-23.

Payed extra for a room with a window and the view was of the alley and the backside of another building. The only sunlight was for a few minutes a day and that was only because of the reflection from the windows of the building. That building a garage that would beam light right into the room everytime someone used it. The room itself was tiny, barely could fit two people despite being advertised for two. Even the bed was small, undersized for what they advertised. No closet, no safe, no microwave. The shower was poor. The water pressure was actually weaker than the pressure of the faucet. Plus, with no shower pan and only a flimsy curtain, the water was splashing well outside the shower area.

Great location to airport transportation, shopping, and the Old Town. I walked everywhere. The rooms are no frills, but everything was immaculate in terms of cleanliness! The lobby is a super cool communal vibe; like a cafe! And the complimentary buffet breakfast is absolutely incredible. I will definitely stay here again!

Central location, friendly staff and amazing breakfast. The rooms are small but comfortable (without windows). Just one downside : there isn't any extractor fan / ventilation system in the bathroom...

  • 5/5 Anna J. 1 year ago on Google
I stayed there for 2 nights. The price is very good for the quality of the hotel. Location is also great, because it’s close to Arlanda express. Breakfasts- amazing! Huge variety of food. Staff was also very friendly all the time and there was no problem with keeping the luggages in the storage.

Very conveniently located beside Stockholm Central Station and walking distance from major sights. Room was very clean with comfortable beds. Although the room did not have windows, it did not feel claustrophobic. Wifi signal was strong and bathroom was spacious. Breakfast had lots of options and was delicious. Seamless check in and check out with good customer service. The walls were a bit thin, you could hear movements near the walls, but the good thing was the occupants of the rooms beside mine were quiet. There were no sockets near the bed.

  • 1/5 ConfusedTrix 1 year ago on Google
Payed 1000sek just for some windows we couldn’t even open. The next day we had to pay another 1000sek because the cleaning ladies thought it was to much to clean. Air is thick so was hard to sleep at night. Would not recommend.

Honestly I found this hotel to be a diamond in the rough. I was looking for a cheap hotel or hostel close to Central Station, arriving late at night and planning to leave early in the morning. I ended up picking this hotel over the cheaper hostel because it was a bit closer of a walk (with my luggage) and I wanted my own shower and bathroom. The description said windowless room, and I just thought that this place would be a dump, but that's okay for the price I was paying and I wasn't staying very long. I was extremely surprised at the quality I received! The location is great. The staff were very nice. The room was very clean, warm, spacious (for Europe), nicely decorated and the bed was absolutely incredible. The sheets were very high quality and the bed was very comfortable. This was the biggest surprise because again, I thought it would be very low grade quality for the price. I had an incredible sleep with the windowless room and high quality bed. Breakfast is also included, which I was expecting to be of lower quality... again I was proven wrong. The breakfast is great and rivals that of a Scandic hotel. 10/10 would recommend this place to someone who wants to be close to Central Station and doesn't plan to spend a lot of time in their room. I will definitely come back here if I'm in the area again.
