This was our first time in Sweden and we decided to come here for our honeymoon. I must say, my new husband and I were very impressed! I picked this hotel because of its Parisian vibe and the hotel did not disappoint! Although there was a small issue with the shower, I was quickly accommodated and offered a larger more grand (if possible) junior suite. I was also received a credit towards my dinner! Who couldn’t be happier with that! The daily complimentary breakfast was exceptional! Those croissants, Madelines, and macarons are the real deal! Not the chewy dried ones we get in the USA. Again, my new husband was in heaven! The elegance of the stained glass, the old world elevators, and the marble stair cases transported you back to old world Paris. Also, the sheer convenience of being in the center of the city with all of the high end stores within walking distance and a gorgeous park behind the hotel was more than we could ask for! Please also check out the Bistro for a sumptuous dinner! We will definitely be back!

This charming hotel is located close to everything you might want to do in Stockholm. It's only a few blocks to a harbor, where you can catch a municipal ferry and just sail around the archipelago that surrounds this enchanting city. The service is excellent, the breakfast is delicious, and it's very comfortable. The elevator is fantastic, right out of the late 19th century! Highly recommended.

Spent one night (was supposed to be two but Norwegian Airlines canceled our flight from Helsinki). Quirky property in a cool, old building. Room was very small but had everything we needed. Breakfast was extensive and very French, great if you like that kind of food and not if you don't. The front desk staff was wonderfully nice and helpful. It's a pretty far (20 minute walk) from the central train station and even further from tourist sites, so you have to rely on transit or enjoy walking. Overall, The Sparrow is perfectly fine but not necessarily enough to stay there again. I'd book someplace more convenient, and a little less quirky, next time in Stockholm.

Hands down one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff were all so kind and patient. The breakfast was extravagant, boasting the largest assortment of gourmet foods I've ever seen at a hotel breakfast. The hotel room was beautiful and comfortable. The shower was amazing in my room. The location was ideal, because the docks are just a short walk away, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in between. This hotel is excellent keep it up proud of you :)

Perfect and central location at ‘Stureplan’. Modernly furnished rooms with respect for the building and the special Parisian atmosphere, which has been very much appreciated. At the entrance to the hotel, a sign says "Paris is only a check-in away" - and this is completely in line with the experience, if you choose to stay here, from the decor of the rooms to the breakfast, which all oozes Paris. Also try the bistro, which serves elegant French dishes and has a very fine wine list. Particularly service-minded, friendly and committed staff. All in all, a great pleasure to stay here and highly recommended. Car park just 2 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Great location, really friendly staff and exceptional breakfast (like really really really good - the eggs were lovely) but the room was a little small

A nice hotel with friendly staff and nice room. A good bed and quiet surroundings gave me a good nights sleep. The breakfast was a bit "different" from the normal scandinavian, with some refreshing dishes and options. I would stay here instead of the normal hotel chains if I had the choice.

Really delightful boutique hotel in downtown Stockholm. Highly recommend it for anyone, including families with children. Comfortable bed, room overlooking nice, not too busy street. Great service from the friendly, approachable GM to the restaurant staff and maids. I would return in a heartbeat.

Sehr nettes Hotel in zwei Altbauten.

Everything was great during our stay. The room was stylish and comfy. The breakfast was high quality and everything tasted homemade. And the location is about the best you can get in Stockholm.

Very good location. Service level very high. Excellent breakfast with fresh juices and strong coffee. Pricey bistro. Can recommend it.

Nice hotel. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was great. However, rooms and building itself do not have AC. They have air blower but that brings a lot of noise during sleep and the bedroom is still unbearable on hot summer days. We had to ask for a fan in the room because it was like a sauna

Perfect spot for Our family of 6 (3 rooms) in downtown Stockholm. Rooms were beautifully kept, service was friendly and prompt and breakfast was incredible. We loved this historic building and all its charm, large windows in the rooms and big bathrooms with heated floors. The location provided a great jumping off exploration into Stockholm & its many treasures. You cant miss here, Rooms, Location, Service, Food, Comfort.. A+!!

Kind of noisy location with some rooms are facing their own bistro and the hotel are located close to Sture plan. Last thing expected, however the hotel needs to upgrade windows to more noise isolated windows. It noticeable that hotel is newly started. Beyond that the hotel has great breakfast and are nicely located nearby almost everything Stockholm has to offer. Not very wheelchair friendly.

The hotel had a unique ambience to it. It seemed to meld old character features with modernity. The shared spaces had a nice comfortable feel to them. The reception staff was efficient and friendly. I also liked that they provided hand wipes at the front desk. There was no ramp from the outside sidewalk to the lobby and elevator area which had about 8 or so steps to navigate. It wasn’t enough steps to make handling the luggage a big problem, but someone with a mobility issue might have difficulty. The location was perfect for us especially being close to a metro station. The room was huge and had plenty of sitting space, a wardrobe, and lots of closet storage. There were large windows allowing lots of light even though we were on the second floor. The curtains worked fine to keep out the light in the early morning. The pillows were soft, and the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was large and had heated floors. The shower itself wasn’t large and did not have a place to put our shampoo/soap. The water did not stay in the shower; it went all over the floor. However, the water does dry reasonably quick with the sloping floor and heat. We quickly learned to not put the bathmat down while taking a shower because it will get soaked. The towels were large and there was a large ledge to store toiletries. The cooling didn’t seem to work well even with the room card inserted in the slot. We couldn’t get the room to cool below 23.5°C. Luckily the windows were operable so we could cool the room a little bit by opening them at night. I’m not a breakfast person, but the breakfast was so tempting that I ended up indulging myself every day. There was a wide variety of items, and everything was tasty. There is a wine bar at the hotel which was a nice place to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. The staff and service at the wine bar was excellent.

A nice hotel right in the centre of Stockholm. Lovely bright large room, comfy bed and an amazing breakfast. The selection was excellent, everything was so fresh and well attended to by lovely ladies.

Had room 311. + Location. Close to many good restaurants and bars. + Friendly service. + Breakfast that has a little bit different items than other places. French theme. Coffee from Lycke kafferosteri. + Comfortable beds. + Shower room, meaning a lot of space. + High ceiling. - Noise from the streets. I could hear people TALK outside during the night.

Very nice indeed, certainly living up to the label "boutique hotel", but with a really decent price tag. Apart from top quality in the room I particularly appreciated the friendly staff, from reception to breakfast waitresses, everyone had a genuine smile and helpful attitude. Last, but not least, the breakfast!! Mmm!! High quality and well chosen offer. I'll be back!!

The hotel is overrated. Room service is not attentive. Mini bar wasn't refilled every day and there was a bottle cap under the bed for 5 days. Everywhere one finds dusty bouquets of dried flowers. The best thing is the location, but that's about it. There are better places to stay in this beautiful Stockholm.

Incompetent front desk. We left laundry at 8 am, they forgot to call it in so our things were returned dirty. Taxi to airport arranged night prior, not called in. Surely at these high rates there would be good service?

This hotel is branded/priced as a premium boutique concept but feels a lot more like a budget hotel. It’s in a very old building and they weren’t very mindful of details during the remodel which is a shame given how gorgeous the building facade is. The finishes feel outdated - especially the bathroom. They also could have done a better job with the decor. One thing that annoyed me was how overtly “French” the property was trying to be - like French flags outside, Parisian replica paintings level of gimmicky. The food at the restaurant was just ok but I will say they had a very cute courtyard. Overall not a bad option if it was priced in the > $200/night range.

Really lovely breakfast in a calm setting. But the value of the room isnt worth the price Id say. We were put in a tiny top floor room where you had to duck with the low ceilings, for 270eur a night. Also front desk is a hit or miss; sometimes a bit snooty and other times you get someone nice. Would only recommend coming for the breakfast and staying elsewhere

Beautiful building with many classic original details, tasteful rooms and awesome beds with amazingly soft bedlinnen! Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Perfectly located. Only on Saturday night it’s rather noisy on the street.

Lovely, spacious and very clean room. Rooms are well designed and furnished. Within walking distance from city center. Shopping, cafes, restaurant and metro station are nearby. Friendly staff. Thanks to Fredrick, the receptionist, for his help and kindness, his welcoming smile makes you love the place.

Came here for a one night and it was very pleasant. Check-in was easy, location is very convenient for grabbing food and drink, the room was quiet and of decent size relative to the region. Excellent staff experience from someone who cares as they can make up for anything and everything. I truly recommend it.

I had the unpleasant surprise of house keeping stealing my eye cream. The hotel was informed but did nothing to either reimburse or make me feel secure. It’s never happened to me before though I travel a lot, and it’s a very unpleasant experience. To have someone intentionally remove some of your personal items when you’re leaving them all in their hands and in good faith. Besides that, breakfast was really good, the rooms need some updating, but comfortable. Location is perfect. But staff is key.

Such a beautiful hotel with so much character and charm. The staff were so helpful and friendly and we could not fault the service. Our room was gorgeous and no regrets whatsoever about staying here! Also, the breakfast was one of the best I have had at a hotel before in Scandinavia!

Nice hotel. Very warm and welcoming staff. Got an upgrade, nice surprize. Really good breakfast, and the beds was perfect. Location also pretty perfect with short distances to plenty places to eat, cinemas, shopping and parks.

Amazing experience! We went to Stockholm for a long weekend to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. Not only the location is great, the hotel is new and clean and breakfast is superb, the staff made everything possible for us to have an unforgettable experience!! Absolutely recommended and we will definitely come back!

We are very disappointed with your services and goodwill. We booked and paid for a room for three nights in your hotel for July at the beginning of 2020, for 8400.- SEK. Since the flights were canceled we had to cancel the booking. However, the amount paid was not refunded to us, we only received a credit for the paid room. Since we could not make the trip even 2021 because of Corona, you have extended the credit until the end of 2021. When we wanted to book the room at the beginning of January 2022, we received the answer that the credit is no longer valid and we have to pay the entire amount again! We find this an absolute impudence, that 8400 SEK are simply kept without providing a service for it!
