Really good service. We arrived quite late at the evening and our smaller kid wanted to have same kind of bed as bigsister. We said that to reception and took one drinks. When we arrived to our room, there was extra bed made for our son. And they did not took any extra charge for it. Also breakfastwas really good. Really nice and clean hotel in good location. Parking carage under the hotel was quite expensive, but probably standard cost in Stockholm. Only downside was the trafic noise from the street, but this hotel is in the city central, so there is noise.

Man hat alles was man braucht. Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Insgesamt ist das Hotel für seinen Preis wirklich schön gestaltet.

I was looking for a hotel to stay for 2 days in Stockholm that's central and has a reasonable price. And this hotel was my best option. Amazing hotel in the heart of Stockholm. The location is perfect and central, near all cafes and sightseeing locations. The price was great for my two nights stay. The room was clean and had nice decorations on the wall. The staff were friendly and quick with the check in. I highly recommend it if you're in Stockholm for a quick visit.

I only used the lobby which was warm and comfortable. It would have been great if it was in a quieter part of town close to the water though. Too much traffic passing by the hotel in my view.

Located right in the city center, the Scandic Anglais is the perfect hotel to stay. There is a nice park around and a delicious breakfast buffet. The hotel room includes standard amenities and was rather small but the view was nice. Gym provides basic equipment plus wellness area with sauna. Good hotel to stay when on a business trip. One elevator was out of service so waiting times were quite long.

Rooms are well maintained Smiling faced receptionist. Breakfast is very good and unexpected 1st class quality foods. Varieties of foods , drinks , juices etc in the buffet system. Based on local surveillance, the prices we afford are quite higher, but it's 100% worth it. The views from the rooms are very superb and classy. All time cab facilities are available from Airport and many parts of city.

How can someone have the idea to build small hotel rooms in the basement without a window? It can't get no worse.

Hotel is nice, service at reception is friendly. Restaurant is horrible but that seems to be a standard Scandic thing as it seems to be the same issue in every Scandic hotel. Service (at the restsurant) is really, really bad and slow, the food (caesar salad) was borderline disgusting. I mean who in their right mind seasons chicken for caesar salad with a thick layer of store bought taco spice mixture 🤢In an almost empty restaurant we waited drinks for 20 minutes. I would have liked another glass of wine but didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes for it to arrive.

Great hotel located just opposite a lovely park. Breakfast was super as was cleanliness and staff friendliness. A bit on the pricey side but if you are looking for quality it is worth it

Had an alright stay at Scandic Anglais. First of all I'd like to say that the best part of my experience was the staff. They were so friendly and welcoming and helped make the stay a much more enjoyable experience. 5 stars to them! 😊 The breakfast and cleanliness also get the same rating! (: What I found to be less exciting about my stay was the room I was staying in. It was underground and therefore had no windows. One thing is the problem of fire safety, with only one way to get out of the room. The other, outside of emergency situations, is that it wasn't a particularly pleasant place to spend time in. It felt like being stowed away in a box underground, which isn't too far from the truth either. I would only recommend Scandic Anglais if one stays in a room that has windows.

We went to eat for dinner, it had an amazing atmosphere and the best service (the girl working there was really nice and helped us with food allergies we had meeting our needs), I am gluten free and I got an hamburger on the plate that was very good with a side salad (since fries were not gluten free), it was a very good healthy and quick dinner😋

Hyvä hotelli. Siistit huoneet. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Parkkihalli hotellin takana. Pieni kävely matka sergels torille ja stureplats:lle.

Must say that the service was exceptional. The breakfast as well. Had a lot of nice things. I often use the toilets to check the quality of the place, and this was just totally ok. Nothing to complain about there.

Nice place to stop and work on the go. The loungen is quite and cosy though we are in the middle of the business district. Staff is both friendly and knowledgeable. Good sizes for meeting rooms. There is space on the 1st floor when you can sit and wait in an ever quite place.

Excellent hotel. Spent the weekend there with my husband and our 15mo daughter and we had such a lovely experience. Hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of options, including lactose and gluten free. The hotel bar had a very good vibe. They had DJs and there were kids around what made us feel comfortable to have a drink (or two) with our little one. The rooms were very comfy and safe for the baby. Great location. Very easy access to the main tourist attractions in the city. I totally recommend it and would definitely stay there again!

The Scandic Anglais was perfect for our stay. The location was great and a good base for exploring Stockholm by foot (and bus, tram and boat). The room was spacious and we loved having the view over the library/Park. Surprisingly it was very quiet despite the central location. Breakfast was great, including vegan options. We loved the fact we had to pre-book a table but surprised that this did not guarantee a table. I understand that the hotel was busy, but I feel pre-booked guests should have been prioritised. Maybe split the restaurant for "booked" and "walk ins" to manage the influx of people in the mornings? The bar was a great place to relax but I was very disappointed that there were no soft drinks for children (only pineapple juice ) and only one mocktail on offer. Variety for children/non-alcoholic drinks would have been amazing!

The hotel location is perfect for business an leisure trips on the one hand, on another hand-situated near Stureplan and surrounded by dozen of nightclubs made it really noisy. Rooms are ok,rather outdated. The worst-lining….Horrible blankets and pillows filled with cheap synthetics made me feel burning…. Breakfast is ok.

They never cleaned our room for days. After several complaints at the reception and bookings (because you need to book a day in advance for every time you want your room to be cleaned) the housekeeper did not show up. After an other call to the reception, finally she shows up but without clean sheets because you have to SPECIFICALLY request for that at the reception. I’ve traveled a lot in my life and this is the poorest, unprofessional and unwelcome service I’ve ever had in a 4 star hotel. Especially in a global pandemic situation cleaning and sanitizing should be implemented efficiently.

I stayed here one night for work and there were no noice isolation in the windows. So take ear plugs if you must stay here.

We were there with a 3 months old baby. We enjoyed our time in the hotel. They have a gym and a relaxation area, which was empty in the morning. Sauna needs 20 minutes to heat up, so you need to ask the reception to turn it on. The breakfast was awesome and absolutely satisfying. Also a very good location.

In a busy city like Stockholm, Scandic Anglais is centrally located, offers nice and comfortable boarding and lodging facility at reasonable price.

Nice hotel in general but a bit too close to some nightclub which plays music the entire nights.

We stayed two nights, with two rooms. They never made our room and our bed. When we complained, they stated it was to protect the environment. I was not asking for new towels, and I m still wondering how making the room, and bed has anything to do with the environment...

Very good location, rooms are pretty small, especially those below ground level. Those rooms do not have windows but I like them for sleeping. Lounge bar is good. Check in is average in speed. Hotel gym is a bit bigger than normal and there’s a sauna and jacuzzi.

In the heart of the club and designer store district of Stockholm this hotel will make sure you do not miss out on the clubbing experience as the sound of disco and laughter makes their way in to your room... making it just a little bit harder to get a good nights sleep. HOWEVER the beds are really comphourtable so make sure to bring airpluggs and all will be fine. Most of the sights are within walking distance, and the royal library and park are right out the door. The view from some of the rooms is pretty nice too. The Hotel terrace sells overpriced drinks (common prices for that area) to the sound of overhyped elevator music and again lovely views of the park and rooftops of Stockholm. The breakfast was lovely, though I did not try the bacon, scrambled eggs etc... they offered all from porridge, hot and cold vegetables, fruit, over night oats... I hear the bacon was a bit of a disappointment but the rest was fine. Nothing amazing but overall good selection for vegans, vegetarians, and people with several types of food allergies. Also the carpet had unicorns which my kid loved. Beside the noise, we also experienced quite some waiting time for the elevator and parking was expensive (as it is in that erea). Still I'd say this is a pretty good hotel, it is clean, well located, the staff is friendly and breakfast was good.

Not stayed here but used a conference room, the roof top and ground floor bars here. Close to centre. Will definitely stay next time.

I came here 12 years ago and it's still a fun, happening kind of place with a good vibe. The rooms need perhaps a little renovation. The food is good if slightly overpriced and the breakfast is outstanding.

Basement room had mechanical fresh air and was pretty quiet so it was good for getting some sleep when in the city for business. Great breakfast, hygenic bathroom, shower worked great and not much noise from other rooms. Staff seemed to really want to help. Price didnt break the bank either.
