Had a great day here with our 2 young girls. Lots to see and do. 2-3 hours is a good time to be there. Good amount of interactive exhibits. I would have given 5 stars but several things were broken (see how fast you run, how hard you throw). Oh and it is free.

There is potential to make it so much better and you don't have to make an immediate effort. Over 70 specialist sports associations organize more than 250 different sports. A few were represented here. Funniest from a nine-year-old's perspective. -The meter for hand strength -The hockey game

Museum is free, has great expositions about experimental sports technologies, real life stories of great Swedish athletes and interactive exhibits about training, muscle work and human anatomy. Very narrowly themed, might not be interesting for non-sport enthusiast, worth a visit still since it's free and right nest to Police, Technical and Ethnographic museums, all great by the way.

If you have half an hour to spare while in the area, check out the SportLab where you can try out different sports. With kids you can easily spend an hour in the museum and the playground outside. Free entrance.

It is a small museum where you both learn about the highlights of Sweden's sports and practice some of them. It has a small sports lab, where you can actually practice a bit of athletism, climbimg and a phew other. I shouldn't take long to see it so I would recommend you to combine with a visit to sjöhistoriska, polis museet or etnografiska since they are very close to each other. If you're fast you can even see 3 or all 4 the same day, but maybe you shouldn't combine them with techniska (you can spend a whole day there, especially when they have activities).

Fascinating museum for Swedish sport but also sport in general. Take your time to explore the museum, and dont forget the Upper level, where the most fascinating things are!!! And its free!!!

There's not so much things to see in this museum. You could tour it in 30 minutes easilly if you're not with children. But this museum is free and it's always a good thing to see in this City.
