If you like French Boules and good food, this is a good place to come. Nice and laid back atmosphere, which had a good level of staff to support any orders for drinks/food and assistance. Food was also tasty with good steak and nibbles available. Definitely worth a visit if you want to challenge a group of friends or team.

Bad experience, ordered burger with curmalized onion. Meat was unser cooked and onion was not curmalized. Waitress totally unfriendly.

Summer evenings like this Sweden is hard to beat. When you can sit outside in only a t-shirt and it's still light outside. Went for a walk with some energy boost stop at tanto mattorg which is a cool little place with with a couple of different trucks and good vibe

Boulabar Tanto, Tuesday June 19, 2018. The location is excellent, situated between the shore and the Tanto garden houses. White it has high potential it falls short on 2 accounts: the food is pretty bad and the serving staff are snorky and lack service-minded ethics. I've been there several times. Food has been equally bad every time, Staff is more hit and miss.Today we were forced to sit in the far corner despite being the only food guests at the time. When we left we counted 48 free spaces on the benches, we could have sat where we wanted.. why in the far corner? (yes we were presentable and sober). The mussels were served tepid,, those on top of the pan were actually cold. The sauce lacked any spice and just seemed a water and flour mix. Tip to cook; a pan of mussles shout be HOT, (as in heated) with garlic and spices in sauce. The ceviche they serve is not a ceviche. It's just shrimp and bits of fish in vinegar with diced raw vegatables (ceviche should have marinated fish and preferably also marinated vegetables with the only fresh ingredient avocado. As a result, the "ceviche" only tastes of vinegar, I think you can actually see that in my attached pic On top of the above, the bread was dry and coarse and I was served the wrong beer, lol. Sounds like too much but I've been here before and its not the first time they disappoint. Two only good things with Boulbar Tanto 1) location and ambience is excellent 2) their french fries are very good So, they get 2 stars, not a single more earned. Visit, drink alcohol, play boule and have fun but don't order the food. Sorry, but honest..(Tip to establishmen, educate your staff on who pays their wages, we the customers)

Very nice lunch offer! A beef or vegetarian plate + fries + bread + water + salad + coffee + two pralines for 125 sek. Plus 30 min boule play included. Best with friends!

Great spot for some boule activities along the beautiful waterside walk though the southern parts of Stockholm. Only tried the food at the boule area which are more like small bites and bar snacks. Go there, rent a court and enjoy!

Excellent service and nice place to eat at during hot summer evenings.

We stopped here for a Friday lunch. The nice surprise was that Friday lunch includes 30 minutes of pétanque playing afterwards. We had lovely time with my parents and a friend of mine. The two options, meat or vegetarian dish, were both very nice. And we decided to give Pastis a chance too and it was a fun experience, especially the blue color of it :) On a hot summer day there ain’t much better place in south Södermalm than this. Can recommend especially their Friday special.

its actually a bit shocking coming to sweden, i thought the restaurants here would be serving swedish cuisine but apparently that's not the case. this is the first restaurant i visited and i have to say, while the food was nice, the food was not swedish at all. my family is 1/11 swedish but keeps the culture and cuisine alive better than modern sweden does. its shocking to see how far the motherland has fallen...

Fantastic street food, generous portions, sallad and watermelon as sides and kind and helpful staff!
