A very beautiful place but since this place is popular for bird watching and I saw none (in November) I was disappointed. But it was because they must have migrated for the winter. Nevertheless we clicked great pictures there!

Beautiful place to do some city hiking. Highly recommend autumn. plenty of small paths both to walk on as well as go for a bike ride. You might even encounter horseback riding. Sometimes this area is full of migrating birds.

Experience the lovely nature of Djurgården and the small lake Isbladskärret which is very popular with the birds. Ducks, geese, herons and so on. There are also friendly gracing cattle in the area around the lake (during the warm party of the year) as well as some viewing platforms and fixed picnic tables. The herons nest in the trees in the north end of the lake.

Simply beautiful!

Isbladskärret have some resident grey herons and there should be some owls around but I have not been lucky enough to see them. In the summer you can quit often see deer out in the water eating seaweed even in the middle of the day.

Not the most stunning park you can find in Stockholm but if you are interested to see bird habitat then it is very nice. In summer you can see lots of bird nest 🪹 on trees and how they gather in evening is fun to watch
