Stay far away if possible. Ten hour wait at emergency, and still no sign of a doctor. No information, no check-ups from staff. I understand that it is busy and that there are more urgent cases, but when nurses are discussing their music taste across the corridor, you would think they could take some time to check on patients as well. The Swedish health care system is not functioning well, and this hospital is one of the clearest symptoms of that.

Too long of a waiting time. Healthcare in Sweden better get some reform soon, its a disgrace that it is worse than in Ukraine and Hungary (where I have lived before) where you get help faster and don't have to wait for hours with serious problems. The staff at the reception doesn't even seem to care. Sweden, it's time to live up to the expectations.

Practically carried my friend here who suffered a laceration to the back of her head. Only after one hour was she offered water. Seven hours later, she is still waiting for stitches, blood in her hair and a wound just waiting to be infected. No medication offered. She can’t walk by herself as she faints, yet nobody has come close to her for hours to check if she wants to go to the bathroom. The nurses were too busy chit chatting about their favourite wine! This is not an ‘emergency’ room, it’s a disgrace.

I ended up falling on my face with a concussion. The treatment was good and the awareness of my situation was explained properly and I was allowed to stay the night and in the morning I was escorted to a taxi to get to the terminal, also a course of medication with me. Great staff.

Avoid at all costs! I injured myself quite seriously at home. Had to wait about 35 minutes for an ambulance. The worst minutes of my life, I was in so much pain. The staff in the ambulance gave me morphine and cleaned the wounds. They said I was prior 2, or orange as they call it. When I arrived, they put me in a waiting room and there I had to wait ... and wait ... and wait. No one came and checked on me at all. The wound just looked worse and worse. After 2 hours I went home, could just as easily patch up myself at home. The receptionist did not even care that I went home. The sick thing is that when I was waiting, several others told me that they had been there waiting for 12 hours.

Was sent here by my GP due to concerns about a pulmonary embolism. As of now I have been waiting 10 hours to see a doctor. I have been told I will need to wait a further ten hours. They have tested me twice now for COVID, and departments do not communicate with each other. Nurses pedantically talk down at patients about how they prioritize. Nobody spoken to me about my blood test results. DO NOT COME TO THE ER here if you can help it. Go to Rosenlunds narakut instead.

I'd like to thank the Förlossning department, the reception, the nurse and the doctor for the care, the professional and the support during my visit at week 32 pregnancy. I was listened, tested and treated nicely. They also had a spare room for me to rest while waiting for the CT scan. Best experience I have at Sös. Thank you very much for all the staffs at Förlossning.

Kicked us me and my doughier out with ear pain. From barn akuten. Because she did not have fever. But she has not fever because she is under ibuprofen. Such a stupid desision.

Have a couple experiences with SÖS. I was rushed by ambulance here for life threatening arrhythmia. After I was stabilised I was told, verbally, which bizarre values I had had when I arrived and that I should go back to my normal doctor to receive regular check-ups starting within 48h after being discharged. These values were not registered in my journal, because their system had been down. AKA I was deemed a mythomaniac by every single doctor I managed to see thereafter, as they would wave me off saying I'd had a panic attack. Uhu convulsing, 240 HR, 6 doctors over me etc etc — a panic attack. Nothing was in my journal. I was 23. Years later I'd have an emergency gyno issues which they turned me away with the words "take an ipren" (paracetamol). Lady pain is apparently so normal so not being able to stand up due to the pain of a cyst is just a shoulder shrug to them.

kind staff while there, AWFUL as soon as I left, they did not disclosed that I would be charged as a foreigner even though I was living legally in Sweden when I got the bill the lady was very rude and dismissive when I explained I was not Swedish and didn’t speak Swedish telling me “in Sweden you have 30 days to pay not 3 years” and I explained that I was struggling financially, unemployed and homeless she said “It dosent matter you have 30 days to pay” I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BELIEVE THIS there has to be another option, subsidised care or something instead of a 7000kr (710$) bill for an asthma attack that required a singular steroid shot. I have been treated by people as kind and gentle as a brick. If this hospital cares at all contact me to resolve this awful matter.

Awful emergency room. I waited for 9 hours for absolutely nothing. I got checked on maybe three times during those 9 hours where I was struggling to breathe. This place is massively understaffed. Don't go here.

I wonder why my post was taken away. Nothing that was not true has been said. We waited for 16h at emergency. My partner wasn’t offered a bed or similar even though he was visibly in pain. At the end the nurse said “you are not priority”. !!! How did she know this? We went to other emergency - he had surgery next day. Our biggest mistake was that we did not report the neglect of patient and poor behaviour.

Stay far away if possible. 3 hour wait at emergency, and still no sign of a doctor. No information, no check-ups from staff. Had a terrible experience, once again. The doctors are careless, passive, appatic and have no sympathy towards the patient. Very poor and bad hospital . They are all racist. My sister was having a severe stomach pain and we had to wait at the emergency waiting hall for more than 3hours and then after that I had to ask the nurse about our position . And she said soon just for us to wait again for 30mins. I realized they took everyone who came after us and attended to them . Staffs are very rude . Swedish healthcare workers - you show some empathy and consideration for patients who come to the emergency please . Too long of a waiting time. Healthcare in Sweden better get some reform soon, its a disgrace that it is worse than in Cameroon wr I lived before .

A man brought by ambulance (fainting and vomiting) waits for 12h to be seen by a doctor, then the doctor tells the patient to move to another section and wait again at least 12h for the next doctor. 1 star is way too much. This hospital is a really bad joke.

I have been going here since I was a kid. I love the staff and they have helped me tremendously. They are kind and so organized even during caos. They have really thought about how they should behave towards kids with rooms that are decorated to not feel so clinically and cold. They are truly heroes! Your work is Amazing and I am so impressed how, even though the job is unpredictable you guys still manage to get it to work.

The 2nd time we go here for an emergency but due to long queue times we had to leave after 6 hours as there were not enough doctors. It’s embarrassing. Healthcare in some third world countries are better.

I just had the worst experience at this hospital. Went in This evening with extreme dizziness and vommiting along with the worst headache I have ever experienced. They took me in and did blood pressure etc only to tell me that I will be waiting until the next morning to see a doctor and that a antisickness tablet will do the job. I started to cry because I felt like they completely disregarded my symptoms. I ended up stumbling out of there and went home. I wouldn't even give this one star, it deserves zero. This isn't the first time that I have had a very bad experience with the healthcare in this country. Avoid the place and go elsewhere.

I had the worst experience in my life. The undersköterska tried to take blood samples 3 times and she missed my veins which has never happened to me before. My veins are very visible. I got a pretty big, hard, dark bump which was painful many days. There was no empathy on her side or any attempt to stop the bleeding. Pure robotic poker face. Swedish healthcare workers - you show some empathy and consideration for patients who come to gynnakuten in pain.

Waiting times were somewhat long, but not too bad since they gave me sufficient pain relivers. I was diagnosed reasonably quickly (with appendicits), was offered a very nice and comfortable room and then was operated on a few hours later. The staff were all very pleasant and nice to me and, as I said, provided sufficientently much in the way of pain killers for the waiting not to become overly strenous. I felt taken care of throughout. They were perhaps somewhat understaffed, which is of course not good, but still the hospital was still very much operational. The appendectomy itself had no complications and I'm feeling way better now, a day or two after it. I'm not entirely sure but it is my understanding that the whole cost of my visit cost me a measly 400 or so sek, very cheap. I'm satisfied
