I
visited
Distriktstandvården
Drottninggatan
on
30th
of
July
with
a
gingival/gum
bleeding
and
recession
problem.
I
had
an
appointment
at
13.00
p.m.
with
Katina
Stenström
and
that
was
a
really
bad
experience.
I
was
at
Drottninggatan
65
at
12.58
p.m.
There
was
a
man
who
was
struggling
to
enter
the
code
to
open
the
door
who
I
waited
for,
then
offered
my
help
after
losing
time.
Realizing
the
clinic
was
on
3rd
floor
and
being
in
the
risk
group
(I
am
7
months
pregnant)
I
avoided
taking
the
elevator
and
took
the
stairs.
Being
pregnant,
I
get
out
of
breath
easily
and
had
hard
time
climbing
stairs.
Finally
I
was
at
the
reception
at
13:03,
asking
for
my
appointment,
and
I
was
invited
to
the
examination
room
by
Katina,
who
was
apparently
at
the
reception.
I
asked
her
if
I
can
use
the
bathroom
first
by
mentioning
my
pregnancy.
However,
she
said
“No,
you
cannot
use
it
because
you
are
late”
with
a
very
rude
tone.
I
was
shocked
and
I
could
only
say
“Yes,
I
am
late
but
only
3
minutes”.
And
she
responded
“Yes,
but
you
are
still
late”
and
eventually
did
not
let
me
use
the
bathroom.
I
think
it
is
unacceptable
not
to
let
a
person
use
the
bathroom
when
they
need
it.
Later
she
asked
me
why
I
was
there
and
after
short
explanation
I
sat
in
the
chair
for
her
to
examine
me.
The
examination
took
maximum
15
seconds.
She
lifted
the
chair
up
and
said
that
“it
is
totally
normal
to
have
gum
bleeding
and
recession
in
pregnancy,
there
is
nothing
I
could
do
and
if
I
am
looking
for
a
magical
solution
from
her,
well
there
is
no
magic”.
I
was
shocked
again
and
only
could
say
“No,
I
am
not
asking
for
magic
but
wondering
maybe
there
could
be
a
mouthwash
or
a
vitamin
solution
that
could
help
me.
I
mentioned
her
my
pain,
my
gums
are
bleeding
even
though
I
am
not
brushing
my
teeth
and
I
always
have
blood
in
my
mouth.
Also
I
am
afraid
that
my
teeth
could
be
harmed
in
long
term
because
of
this
situation.
She
again
said,
“no,
there
is
nothing
to
do,
don’t
believe
everything
you
read
in
Google,
pregnancy
does
not
harm
your
teeth”.
And
she
finished
the
examination
and
invited
me
to
leave.
I
got
out
and
did
the
payment
at
the
reception.
Finally
use
the
toilet
and
left
the
clinic.
However
since
I
was
so
stressed
and
shocked
with
the
behavior
I
faced,
I
started
to
cry.
I
walked
down
crying
on
Drottninggatan,
called
my
husband
and
to
finally
calm
down.
As
per
above,
I
had
a
very
bad
experience
in
this
clinic
particularly
with
that
staff
member
both
from
behavior
and
medical
perspective.
I
chose
that
clinic
with
the
reference
of
my
husband
who
had
two
separate
operations
and
he
was
very
happy
with
the
service
he
received.
I
want
to
believe
this
is
not
the
clinic’s
general
approach
towards
patients,
however
I
had
an
incident
which
for
me
was
unacceptable
due
to
behavior
from
Katina
Stenström.
Hence
I
am
providing
this
feedback
with
the
hope
that
the
clinic’s
responsible
people
would
take
necessary
actions
so
she
does
not
repeat
such
attitude
to
other
clients.
