    A different dental clinic with different areas of expertise. After the first examination, you will be sent to different experts in dentistry depending on the type of action needed. It is a slower process but seems to provide higher security. I gave up after waiting three days for their call.

    Very happy with the plan and the results of the treatment. The doctor, Maria Jansson, is super nice and very competent! Also very good atmosphere during each visit from the doctor and personnel.

    Use my referral code 7034200 and get 150kr for your visit! Super Epic Work! I really want to thank, my dentist and her team. I came in with a broken and nasty tooth that caused an infection bulge thing. I came in on late Wednesday, got it checked out and they booked a time for me Thursday morning, the next day. I arrived and they ripped out my tooth in like 30-45 mins and i was done! Excellent work!

    A bit complicated and not very helpful if you're on German GKK (mandatory health insurance). Would be nice if they clearly and distinctly stated that their prices are about 75% higher than the standardized German prices that German GKK insurers will reimburse. You can expect to pay 75% of the costs yourself (which is fine if you know that upfront). They could also mention that we could possibly find a less expensive dentist since Sweden doesn't have standardized prices for necessary dental work as covered by insurance. The whole process is a bit cloak-and-dagger with price.. Feels like they want your business to the point of not being interested in being 100% transparent and they seem to leverage your lack of understanding of the details to get you committed to owing them for their service (they are not necessarily very interested in their services meeting your budget.. it's more like going to a restaurant with no prices on the menu then getting a mystery bill afterwards - I've been to these places and it's fine for a glamorous night out, but not what I want in this situation). But that's more typical of U.S. style medical systems that try to maximize profit in medical sales based on more sales related tactics versus being more of a public service like in countries like Germany. We could have saved each other a lot of time and some headaches if it weren't for their lack of candor in this situation. As far as general politeness and superficial ambiance (can only speak to what we see on the surface, didn't dig much deeper), it is a lovely place. I imagine if you are not on a budget this place would strike you as great (and probably genuinely is on that level - no dig on elite service for elite clientele) but they could steer you more clearly and frankly away to a better fit if you express costs is a concern. Review meant to be constructive to improve your interactions with poor German insured kids that may randomly walk through your door in the future. ;)

    I visited Distriktstandvården Drottninggatan on 30th of July with a gingival/gum bleeding and recession problem. I had an appointment at 13.00 p.m. with Katina Stenström and that was a really bad experience. I was at Drottninggatan 65 at 12.58 p.m. There was a man who was struggling to enter the code to open the door who I waited for, then offered my help after losing time. Realizing the clinic was on 3rd floor and being in the risk group (I am 7 months pregnant) I avoided taking the elevator and took the stairs. Being pregnant, I get out of breath easily and had hard time climbing stairs. Finally I was at the reception at 13:03, asking for my appointment, and I was invited to the examination room by Katina, who was apparently at the reception. I asked her if I can use the bathroom first by mentioning my pregnancy. However, she said “No, you cannot use it because you are late” with a very rude tone. I was shocked and I could only say “Yes, I am late but only 3 minutes”. And she responded “Yes, but you are still late” and eventually did not let me use the bathroom. I think it is unacceptable not to let a person use the bathroom when they need it. Later she asked me why I was there and after short explanation I sat in the chair for her to examine me. The examination took maximum 15 seconds. She lifted the chair up and said that “it is totally normal to have gum bleeding and recession in pregnancy, there is nothing I could do and if I am looking for a magical solution from her, well there is no magic”. I was shocked again and only could say “No, I am not asking for magic but wondering maybe there could be a mouthwash or a vitamin solution that could help me. I mentioned her my pain, my gums are bleeding even though I am not brushing my teeth and I always have blood in my mouth. Also I am afraid that my teeth could be harmed in long term because of this situation. She again said, “no, there is nothing to do, don’t believe everything you read in Google, pregnancy does not harm your teeth”. And she finished the examination and invited me to leave. I got out and did the payment at the reception. Finally use the toilet and left the clinic. However since I was so stressed and shocked with the behavior I faced, I started to cry. I walked down crying on Drottninggatan, called my husband and to finally calm down. As per above, I had a very bad experience in this clinic particularly with that staff member both from behavior and medical perspective. I chose that clinic with the reference of my husband who had two separate operations and he was very happy with the service he received. I want to believe this is not the clinic’s general approach towards patients, however I had an incident which for me was unacceptable due to behavior from Katina Stenström. Hence I am providing this feedback with the hope that the clinic’s responsible people would take necessary actions so she does not repeat such attitude to other clients.

    A very good experience here today. My dentist was very understanding about my situation and tried to accommodate my queries and needs. He also told me what else needs to be done on my teeth and told me problems I didn't even know existed aside from the tiny clues I'm feeling sometimes. Definitely a top notch work and more accommodating when I compare it to my other visit here in Stockholm. 🫰

    After 2 sleepless nights and a significant pain, I was able to make an appointment on the same day. It was a very pleasant visit at a very caring dentist. My situation was not easy to diagnose. I don't know yet if the treatment that I received will work or not but the clinic and the staff added up to a very positive experience.

    The way to request an appointment all goes online including informing me that I wanted an English dentist. People were very nice all around from the receptionist to the dentist. Everything was explained beforehand from cost to procedure by each appointment.     Kajin was very professional and considerate of my mild discomfort of dentists. She explained what was going to happen and took regular breaks while keeping my mind off the procedure, provided advice and recommendation what to adjust in my cleaning technique and what could be a good plan going forward that considers my needs. Very recommended, would come again

    150kr Off Use My Referral Code: 4359188 Applies to new clients age 24+ I agree with the majority of reviews: Distriktstandvården (DTV) provides good, solid dental work. I've been going to them for 4 years now at a couple locations and every time they go the extra mile. Their "Last Minute" (sista minuten) bookings come in handy with 50% off teeth cleaning or examination. Had a Last minute clean the other day with Emilio P. M. and yes even the discounted treatments are performed with excellence. Highly recommend him. Plus they provide a 5 year warranty which is longer than most on tooth implants /other complex work. 2 year on repairs, like fillings. If you compare, DTV's prices are comparable to most. Let me tell you, before I ever tried them I went to City Dental which comes across as cheaper but be aware they got 6 month warranties for nearly all treatments. I did root canals with them, failed twice. Redid one within 6 months. Second relapse within a year went to DTV for implants instead. I ended up paying more in the long run by going to the latter. There it is.

    I requested treatment in English as my Swedish doesn’t stretch far enough to feel comfortable talking about dental treatment. I have had numerous bad experiences in my home country especially regarding communication and consent in my dental care. For this reason, I indicated my nervousness in the pre-appointment questionnaire. Sebastian and the dental nurse were both immediately welcoming and calming. Every step was explained clearly and they took time to listen to my concerns as well as informing me about what the potential next steps could be. We looked at my X-rays and discussed necessary as well as preventative treatments and financial costs. Booking an appointment online was extremely easy and surprisingly quick. I was impressed with the information and communication prior to my appointment. The dental centre was also a very clean and calm environment following COVID-19 guidelines.

    I been visiting this clinik for few years. It always give me a pleasant feeling when I enter the building. It is quiet, clean and tastefully decorated. The personnel are very welcoming. Zoreh Gheidi is my dental Technician. She is very kind and pleasant and always receive the patient with a glad face. Zohreh is very professional and responsible technician. she cerates a sense of trust and you can be very relax on her dentist chair. I recommend both her and the Distrikt Tandvård on Drottningsgatan 65 warmly.

    The first impression before visiting was that the dentist is very high-tech: got plenty reminders of the booked time and even a survey to fill out what specific help you require from your visit. In my case I appreciated that there was an option where you could identify as having fear of visiting dentists, although this did not seem to make any difference in the session with the dental hygienist. Overall it was a standard treatment. I was grateful that the dentist was open on Sundays because otherwise I could not get treatment because of work. The receptionist was also exceptionally kind, helpful and knowledgeable about how a non-Swede can use Försäkringskassan for possible support. Finally, I got a discount due to a referral code.
