The museum is extremely small and is not worth the journey there plus a 130 krones entrance fee. There is literally a couple of rooms with contemporary art by no names and a cinema room. Just by contrast, Fotografiska costs around the same and has floors of world famous stuff. There is a "museum" on top floor but you can only see the interiors from the corridor window, which is weird. The ad said that the terrace offers a 360 degree view, which is true, but there is nothing to see there, just a part of a park and some residential buildings. The cafe is grossly overpriced, we paid 145 krones for a small portion of a "fish soup" which literally had 3 microscopic pieced of fish in it and was quite bland overall. I regret visiting this place and I don't recommend it.

Perfect weekend place. Great terrace on the roof (for summer). Best coffee in the cafe Guld. Exhibitions are changing periodically. Main part is copy of Sven-Harry’s villa on the 6th floor.

I took the guided tour (in swedish) for the temporary exhibition July 2023 and the tour guid was phenomenal. She was talking with great passion and I would imagine that it would be impossible to not be interested in the art after listening to what she’s saying. Together with the national museum, these were the two best guided tours I ever had at a museum. Wish it was longer than it was =)

This is a unique museum in that the entrance fee does not include access to the permanent collection. In order to see that you need to pay extra for a guided tour, at fixed times of course. Even then it is obvious that the permanent collections is tiny. There are a few works in the stairwell that are probably there permanently plus a few sculptures on the terrace. The bulk of the place is given over to temporary exhibits (in our case it was about gnomes and Santa) and the very spacious gift shop. In fact the main thing on display is Sven-Harry's ego.

This art museum worths a visit. Take the guided tour to learn more about the owner's impressive collection. The tour takes you to the replica of Sven-Harry's former home Ekholmsnas on the top.floor with all or most of the original art works and furniture. Though only in Swedish but you will be given a folder full of info in English which I found useful enough.

Very nice art gallery near Vasaparken. Beautiful view from the roof top terrace and interesting to experience the story behind the gallery's existence.

Small but beautiful exhibition about craft. The museum was a great venue for this. Sven Harry's house replica looked really interesting, but sadly wasn't accessible when we were there.

The outside of this museum is cool and the rooftop sculpture garden was really nice. The exhibit on Santa was a little disappointing for the cost (~$15 per person). A lot of the art is in the stairwells, so this museum is definitely not wheelchair accessible.

Interesting architecture, eccentric founder. Great space for small exhibits as well as the private collection.

Little opinion about the founder of the museum. A rich guy who can't afford to collect first tier artist, but loved art. He ended up collecting second or lower tiered artists. He knew that if he donate his collection to major art museums, they would end in the inventory. Therefore he founded this museum. 3 stars for the museum. 5 stars for the staffs and the architect.

The museum is small and the price is high for what we get to see. You can do the tour in around 1:30 easily. Prices at the shop are also high for the product.

We enjoyed it here, the exhibition was well explained, with a logical layout and background information. It's a rather small gallery on two stories and a nice rooftop to enjoy fresh air and the view.
