Stockholm's DjurgĂĄrden, a snuff and match museum operating in the Skansen area. The snuff favored by Swedes is spreading to Finland.

A great little museum in a corner of Skansen, with plenty of interesting objects on display in antique settings and informative, clear texts.

Who would have known the scale of the match industry in Sweden?!

Absolutely horrendous food! Paid 165kr for meatballs with potatoes - one potatoe rotten, the sauce tasted flour, the bread was hard like if it was a couple of days old. The meatballs themselves tasted nothing at all. One would expect something else for the prices and the prestigious location. Absolutely disappointing, never again!

Not really worth the price of admission (skansen in general)

The "Gubbhyllan" restaurant is definitely the nicest one in Skansen. Both interior and exterior is an amazing blast from the past. Often small musical events (like jazz mondays) with outside barbeque in the summer. Nice beer selection and godd, traditional swedish food served.

I couldn't go because they only offer addmission if you pay to get in the the skansen town. Nothing else was of interest so cost to get in was not worth it. Major bummer to walk all the way there for nothing.

The entrance fee to this museum is included in the ticket for Skansen as it is located inside it. The size of the museum is relatively small but it offers interesting insight to the relationship between the Swedes and Snus, and also tobacco products. Got a lot of additional information about the role of women and child labor in industry (particularly tobacco industry), but I don't know if these information will be included permanently in the exhibits. It has a cafe in front of it, great for fika.

Interesting museum that many people probably miss when they are at Skansen.

Great information, beautifully presented and great exhibits. Unfortunately, the structure is a bit confusing and you have to be careful to move through the boards and rooms in the correct order. A visit to the cellar is definitely recommended.

One of the best museums in the world. Unbelievably clever cooks, an interesting exhibition in a perfect combination of the past up to tobacco plants today. Good laboratories for children. Too bad we were the only visitors, hope many more visit the place.

Interesting museum, unfortunately hidden in the park, so you miss this piece of history.

Only gets 4 stars because the really interesting stuff was only in Swedish. And there could be more to the story.
