We were lucky to meet the polkagris making process, during the videos and photos taking, the staff was nice to share the polkagris just made, the honey flavour still in my mind.

A really beautiful place with friendly staff. We were offered to try homemade fudge for free and it tasted beyond amazing! Candies from this store is a perfect present to bring home, and they even make such offers where you can buy 3 or 5 bags for a cheaper price per unit! All the candy we picked was super tasty, so I recommend! If in doubt, you can always ask the staff. The atmosphere in the shop is like in a little elf workshop- so beautiful!

Really fun old-time candy store with various hard candies including sticks. It was great to watch the candy maker at work hand rolling and working the sugar, and then walking a few steps away to take home a bag or stick of candy with you. There were a lot of unique and yummy flavors, like elderflower, mint molasses, and cherry cola. Give in to the temptation and buy more than one to get their 5 or 10 discount deal. Big plus that they offer paper bags and not just plastic. Other things to note: It appears they also do children’s birthdays here as there was a hoard watching candy being made. Do not bite the hard candy as it will get stuck in your teeth and feels like your teeth or fillings will get pulled out. Suck a piece on your tongue only.

We stopped here to see how they make the candy 🍭 We got one with strawberry taste and i am looking forward to try it. The tour guide mentioned to us how this swedish candy is the origin to the US one! It came with the Swedish immigrants.

A must visit if you have a sweet tooth. They have a plethora of candy and chocolate sweets of all sorts and varieties. You can even see them making candy in the kitchen, and they distribute samples as you're browsing the store. Did not disappoint!

Nice store with some great candy! The polkagris was excellent and we wish we would have bought more candy home as they do not ship to the United States.

Gefährlich! So viele leckere, handgemachte, traditionelle Süsswaren.

Fun! Old fashioned hard candy shop with alllll the flavors. And who can resist bringing grandma home some “granny’s silk pillows” (a multi colored mix of rectangular hard candies). Fun front display window too.

The best fudge, toffee and hard (polka) caramels ever! Try samples and watch the cooking live. Pricey but worth every penny!

Traditional candy on the bit more expensive side. Then again, it's in Gamla Stan, so that is to be expected...

Visited during my first stay in Sweden, to specifically bring back some gifts that are a little bit different for friends the UK. Lovely bright and clean shop, you can see the sweets being made at the back, and the cheerful staff offer free samples. The prettily paper wrapped sticks look so charming and classy, and with so many flavours to choose. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Stockholm.

In one of the numerous charming cobbled streets of Gamla Stan, this sweets shop is not to miss ! Caramel, liquorice, fudge...sweets are homemade and the shop is smelling so good you can't help but buy some 😉 Bonus : the workshop is open on the shop and if you're lucky, you can see how sweets are made

It was wonderful to watch the candy being made from beginning to end. This is a delightful shop with very friendly staff. It felt like stepping back in time to an older time where you could watch traditional handmade methods being used. A welcome relief from so many tourist shops all selling the same cheap tourist items! Thankyou for the demonstration and such friendly service!
