👍👍 This was a very unique place to stay and the overall quality was great. The rooms are small but clean and up to date. Breakfast was very good every morning. Great location, just minutes from train station. The staff was friendly and provided everything we asked for. We stayed here for a wedding... Small and interesting museum about the history of the prison. Due to the huge popularity of the books 1793, 1794 and 1795, and the fact that the prison is playing a big part in them, a little information around this would have been a bonus. But there is always room for improvement.

A very cool and interesting place for those who are interested in history, specifically relating to crime. It was well looked after, not overly long so worth a visit if you're in the area or staying in the hotel. It went over the history and details of those who were there, how conditions were and other cool bits of information. Also a lovely wine cellar!

I didn't stay here. But visiting the prison museum is one of a kind experience. You would find it too silly from the outside and if you didn't read what is written on the walls. There is content both in English and Swedish on the walls. Trying to imagine the times when people were housed there and listening to the audio stationed in one of the prison rooms gives a unique real feeling. The staff cleaning the hotel above are also dressed in jail dresses 😊.. so you might some hang over 😊

When you have the chance to stay in Langholmen hotel, don't forget to visit the museum, it gives you the knowledge about the prison's life and history.

Great museum although it is not massive in the actual museum, I would like to stay in the hotel though it looks very cool!

It’s a interesting place to visit and now a bit more about the history of Stockholm. It is simple but still interesting, and the entrance fee is very affordable. Not a must go, but still something different.

Very small, almost nothing kept of the original building and thus no prison feeling at all. A bit interesting to learn more about Stockholms history however.

Small but interesting museum. A bit out of the way for the usual touristy things but if you like doing some less typical stuff like us and maybe combining it with a nice walk around the Langholmen island we would definitely recommend!

Very small museum which gives insight into what life in the prison was like, but frankly isn't particularly interesting.

Too little museum, but very special...an old prison that is a museum and hotel.
