(Translated by Google) Vasa Museum's garden Step back in time among the vegetables, medicinal herbs, and flowers that were a feature of the gardens in the 1600s. The Vasa Museum Garden has a wide variety of flowers, herbs and medicinal vegetables, many of which can be found in the gardens today. In the 17th century, lavender, mallow, radish and cabbage were as common as they are today. No chemical pesticides are used in the garden. Instead, plants with good disease and pest resistance, such as marigolds, are bred. Bio-char is used in the soil to help it retain water and nutrients better.

The Museum it`s self is on the water because of the story of Vasa Ship. Inside you have the opportunity to see the ship which has been amazingly preserved by the staff. Also it gives an insight of how people would have lived their lives on a ship during the 17th century.

Must visit when in Stockholm. Been to thousands of museums; this is one of the best. 1429 raised, restored galleon with 20,000 items are well curated and explained. In Swedish with some English. Movie available at specific times in other languages.

(Translated by Google) Definitely a must-see during a trip to Stockholm. Beautiful old ship, immaculately preserved. The museum itself is also very nice and certainly worth a visit (Original) Decisamente tappa immancabile durante un viaggio a Stoccolma. Bellissima nave antica conservata in modo impeccabile.

(Translated by Google) The Vasa ship, which today is one of the most visited museums in Stockholm, has a unique destiny. It is hard to imagine a ship with a more deplorable and at the same time unusual fate: the sunken ship of the 17th century is still alive.

(Translated by Google) When entering the room you feel very small! I liked it so much that I went back the day after my first visit. 6 levels allow you to see the Vasa from all angles and seeing a boat "in real life" from the keel to the top of the mast changes the perception that one can have of it. Do not hesitate, go see it. I also recommend the museum restaurant.
