    What a nightmare experience! After 12-years with Folktandvården in Stockholm, 10-years with frisktandvårdförsäkring, and 8-years at the Folktandvården clinic Vasastan I suffered from a root crack and a nasty infection that pushed me to get an expensive bone implant just before having to pay for a tooth implant. I was forced to obtain a second opinion at a different FTV clinic just to get an antibiotic prescription for the infection. Looking back at the recent experience with the clinic in Vasastan I observed terrible customer service when having to contact them over the phone. When describing my situation and requesting an appointment the receptionist did not consider my needs nor tried to listen but I was hurried and interrupted mid-sentence. When dealing with frisktandvårdförsäkring questions the receptionist refused to directly contact their colleagues at the clinic in Fridhemsplan causing me to use my time at work to mediate between the two clinics. During an ordinary dentist appointment, I observed a fast-food core values. I experienced my interactions were made in a hurry with very little time to listen to the patient! Sometimes the consultation was interrupted by employees barging in with their own questions or asking to borrow the card to log in to their system. At times they even overlook closing the privacy door. During one instance, I needed to log in to the 1177 app on my phone to show the dentist the journal notes made previously because they forgot to sign and close my journal in their system. After a phone conversation with the Vasastan clinic-manager she confirmed that they are momentarily understaffed. Nota bene that complain with the clinic, patientnämnden and patientförsäkringen Löf for compensation is filed and is under investigation. Frisktandvårdförsäkring contract is also terminated by me.

    To have my son (after 2 previous unsuccessfull visits), to finally open his mouth, get a complete overview of all the tools at the dentists disposal, and a quick preliminary ^once over" was all due to the caring and nurturing nature of Folktandvården Vasastan.     I’m not rating this clinic as much as I am my dentist here. I’m not going to say her name out of courtesy. I always hated going to her. She was unfriendly and asked the same question every time I saw her about my past that she could have clearly known if she ever read my file before i saw her. 8 months ago when I saw her for a check up, I desperately wanted a polishing for some coffee stains. She clearly thought it was more important to have unnecessary orthodontic work done over the polishing that I actually wanted. Was to wait almost 6 months to get my polishing. And 3 months after I get my replacement permanent retainer that she did, it falls out. At least I have insurance on it. Thankfully have changed to a new clinic now.

    Dr. Zora is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of Anvi Joshi (My Daughter) Teeth and Oral wellbeing, but also she is lovely in engaging with Anvi at few appointments we had with he. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of Oral medical care.     Very good (resource) dentist and fast, painless treatment despite emergency time. But it is very problematic that the clinic does not manage to retain regular talented dentists and that there is a six-month waiting period for a dental hygienist!! I have been a patient for about 10 years in Vasastan and never saw the same dentist or hygienist the following year. It's not ok. You are in a trust industry and expensive care providers. Revise your employer offer so that the doctors stay, so that the patients want to stay. And feel free to hire receptionists who can take this discussion seriously and don't get angry when you point out the inconvenience to us patients.
