Great value to buy the lunch!! You will have access to an indoor salon/dining room for the cruise, with views to both sides of the ship. The additional cost for lunch is nominal (100 SEK). For another 95 SEK, the dessert was surprising!

Not worth the price if you're not booked for the luncheon. The company takes more bookings than it has in number of seats. Unless you book well in advance for the dining facility, you're competing with a large number of people for seating. In winter, rug up cause you could be standing/sitting outside. Make sure you're there at least 20 minutes before the booking start time to try and get a seat. The cafeteria only opens 30 minutes after the boat sets off. No wifi on board. Make shift seating meant some passengers were standing or seated near crockery. Passengers were coughing around these so you feel bad for the patrons who are about to eat of these plates. The speaker/guide is knowledgeable, and clear. He doesn't have full view yet he knows at which point you've reached each landmark. The boat is quiet and best views are on the top deck. Some passengers will disembark at Vaxholm so if you're quick you may find seating. The natural beauty of the archipelago is what saved this trip from a lower rating.

I think its a great experience to take part of in Stockholm. Highly suggest doing the first tour in the morning and getting off at Voxholm. It is a great way to see the island. Make a day out of it. You still would be done by about 4pm.

Breathtaking experience! Did this tour in January at sunset time and the view was absolutely magical. The tour guide was very enjoyable to listen and the staff on board was nice and served us some delicious food and warm tea. We really enjoyed the wonderful sight of the archipelago and strongly recommend to take the tour during this time of the day.

There were definitely positives to this tour and I’m glad we did it - the guide was knowledgable and the tour covered a lot. The inside of the boat was warm and there were amenities (mini cafe and toilet). However it felt like there were too many people on the boat for the number of seats and we were all squished in which wasn’t very pleasant and we couldn’t see very well. Made it not feel good value for money which was a shame given the guide doing a good job and seeing quite a lot on the tour. We did go an stand on the top deck for a bit but it was too cold to stay up there for long.

It's a long trip on an old boat. There is not enough seating outside. There should be more places. The positive thing is that you get to see a lot of Stockholm's archipelago. It is possible to buy food and drink on board. The boat trip goes to Waxholm, where it is possible to disembark and take a later boat back. The trip back takes a slightly different route. The trip is worth the money.

I think people who have this low ratings must have been looking for something very different than we were. This was a lovey way to spend the morning. We could hear the guide’s commentary easily (speakers were clear and plentiful). We sat outside most of the ride and although it was cold, we expected that in Sweden in April! They did have light blankets you could borrow. Interesting history and neat to see a part of the world few people do. Really unique experience. On board cafe and bathrooms both exceeded expectations and made for a comfortable journey. Ice in the water and boating through a snowstorm made it memorable!

The tour was really nice, it didn't felt like 2,5 hours at all. The lunch we had was delicious and the people were so nice. The view was amazing and it was a nice way of seeing a lot of Stockholm.

We went on a boat “tour” today. It was overbooked and there was nowhere to sit. They left some chairs in corridors and in front of the toilet?! Who want to do sightseeing there?! This boat is not sightseeing boat, it’s more of a place for a dinner cruise. So called guide say one sentence in each place and shut up, if you are outside you can’t hear anything. Upstairs there is a restaurant and the whole place smell of food. So if you didn’t book “lunch/dinner cruise” you will sit or stand downstairs. Set up of this boat is not for the sightseeing. Tourist trap and a rip off. We payed £83 ( for 3 of us)for nothing. Do yourself a favour and spend your money somewhere else!

Best to book the tour with meal in advance, so you will have a table and seats in the restaurant, or else it will a bit windy to stay outside for the beautiful scenery.

My partner and I took a tour and were very happy with it. The tour guide was very friendly and informative, she made the time pass very quickly onboard. The sights of the tour were also breathtaking - we were fortunate enough to sail through some frozen sections of the archipelago which we were told only happens roughly every 5 years. The boat passing through the ice was incredible and allowed us to get unique photos. We went on the tour that happened around sunset which allowed for fantastic views and pictures. The boat itself was cute and well maintained and there were plenty of seats both indoors and outside. There were blankets available to help insulate yourself against the cold should you wish to sit outside which definitely helped! Would love to visit again and do a tour in summer.

Quick sightsee of some Stockholm islands - full ship during our journey ... so little bit disturbing but good way how to get small perspective about area

Had the lunch included option with the archipelago tour with my partner, and we enjoyed it so much! The food is great, the staff are very friendly and the view and sights you see throughout the tour is beautiful. We were extremely lucky to have had the tour on a sunny day at 21 degrees temperature. Definitely recommend for anyone going to Stockholm! For reference, we went during early May and its warm enough to wear shorts and dresses.

it was amazing, but I need to give a tiny advice to this lovely staff and tour planner. the narrator was so professional however she talks non stop during the journey. it's so so annoying and nobody listen to her especially when you sit inside and having a peaceful dinner. nobody cares about a long stream of speech with a static voice that continually explaines about everything! that was amazing but can be better and more fun

I really can't strongly recommend. The boat is small and old. There's nowhere comfortable to stand or sit outside to see the sites. The only outdoor seating is a narrow ring of benching around the boat with hard wooden seats looking out. They fill quickly. The staff and guide were very nice and the island tour itself is beautiful. There's no seating or standing fore or aft, only the sides. Standing up outside is difficult because the roof of the boat is low and you have to crane down to look out. The alternative, again, is the horrible seating which was overcapacity anyway. The tour guide speaks into an audio system that's difficult to hear. We ordered lunch and had a table reserved in the dining room. It felt like being in an old creaky hotel. Perplexingly the dining room windows don't open. On a beautiful 70F day with lots of wind it was hot and stuffy. Again, the only alternative to sitting in the stuffy dining room is the outside corridor. They need a better boat.

Enjoyable, excellent value, and very worthwhile to get a general sense of the Stockholm area. Tip for foreigners used to more flexible attitudes: get there at least 20 minutes early, join the queue, and grab seats on the deck ASAP, because people get so territorial that even if their companion is off to the bar for 30 minutes or is standing up for most of the trip, if you lost the Musical Chairs game they will actually refuse to let you use that seat while it's unoccupied (of course you all paid exactly the same price for exactly the same ticket). There can be a whole empty row of seats and you will be expected to stand up. So stake your claim quickly and then you can of course set an example and be nicer to people.

Very nice boat tour showing and thoroughly explaining the different monuments of Stockholm! One of a kind trip where you can sip your coffee, watch the water and the beautiful city while listening to a nice tour guide :)

Lovely cruise for scenery and points of interest narration. Nice staff. Even had blankets when it got a bit too chilly. I finally sat inside which was fine too. Lunch was sold out but the salmon wrap was good. Recommended.

Great experience, just make sure you sit on the left side of the boat, as that's where all the views are.

I had a lovely tour with Stromma. Online booking was easy, the queue on the day was well managed, and the tour itself was very nice. All round a very good experience.

Sehr schöne Tour zu den Schären. Sehr netter Service an Bord. Da sEssen war sehr lecker. Auf jeden Fall ist das Buchen mit Essen zu empfehlen, somit hat man dann einen festen Sitzplatz.

Great tour, expensive food and drink on the ship but that is to be expected. The MC was a don I’m not sure how he knows all that stuff off the top of his head. In Feb it was too cold to stay outside the ship for long

This is the essential part of a trip to Stockholm. This is a different world. The vistas are breathtaking. The islands are superb. The whole experience is worth remembering. The cruise gets very crowded though so get a good seat for yourself. There is a small cafe to buy coffee etc. worth the experience!

Booked to stay here but unfortunately it got cancelled due to lockdown. Tried to book again but rooms had gone. Went to have a look at it during our stay in stokholm and it looks lovely.

This tour is basically a boat transfer from Stockholm to Vaxholm. The sound system is poor and if you're in the caffe you won't hear anything. The route is nothing special, too expensive and too long.

Always a joy to take a boat and go anywhere in the Stockholm archipelago! Stroll to Vaxholm for a coffee or Grinda for nature and sheep. Plenty of choice, close your eyes pick a destination and enjoy!

I've a bit of mix feelings about this tour. Good: We took the lunch option your and the food was great! The waiters also top notch. Would definitely bring a date here. The tour guide points out points of interest along the way and you get to see a lot of islands and houses on islands. They also had freshly baked cinnamon rolls so that was good. Bad: But inside the restaurant it was very noisy and we couldn't hear a word of what the tour guide was saying. Also the windows kept fogging up and we couldn't see anything so we had to go outside in the cold from time to time.

We took our visiting parents from America on this trip, including an excellent lunch for 4, and they absolutely loved it! The guide, Pia, was an engaging and entertaining storyteller and we learned a lot about Swedish history while enjoying the beautiful scenery. The elegant surroundings and delicious food were icing on the cake! This tour provided a delightful way to spend time with family while enriching our knowledge of the beautiful Stockholm archipelago. Thank you!

😠 I don’t recommend their services. First we were cheated by their employee, who told us that the bus trip ticket costs 25EUR - it turned out in bus that it costs 30EUR (and amount on ticket is 350SEK). Lots of people confirmed the same scam experience. During the day, bus skipped half of its road and...

😠 Very dissapointed! The boat was 1.5h late and when it finally arrived, there was nowhere to sit. The tickets for the Cinderella boats are significantly more expensive than Waxholmbolaget and definitely less reliable. I would not recommend it.

👍👍 The royal canal tour was amazing! Audio guide is available with many languages on boat. The tour took around 50mins and took you around the museum island and a beautiful canal. The scene was stunning. Online booking is cheaper than buying ticket on spot.
