One of the best places in Stockholm to walk and take pictures. The river is amazing, the waters are so clear and the reflections from the boats and the buildings are breathtaking. After a short walk you will reach the långholmen beach which is totally worth it as when thh weather is good many people are swimming and it also has a magnificent view so it is ideal even for just sitting or having a picnic. Totally recommend visiting Långholmen.

Any tourist in Stockholm should rent some Kayaks and enjoy the beautiful views that the city has to offer by boat! A must!

You can't find a better place. Of course the cells are small but they also have bigger rooms. The service people, the people in the reception, the staff in and around the kitchen, they are all so guest friendly.

Langholmen is a piece of natural landscape in the large city of Stockholm. A bridge leads to this gem where once the Stockholm prison was situated that today is a hotel. There are beaches with clean water for swimming in the Malaren and cafes. In the Western part of the island you will find well tended colony lots for growth of veggies and fruits tended to the Stockholm citizen who maybe does not have a summer house (that many Swedes have).

A great hotel to stay in. The included breakfast was delicious. Their staff was super kind. The rooms were surprisingly spacious though I hit my head on a bunk above me a bit. Windows gave a good view. Next to the hotel is a good spot to swim in or to have a picnic. There is also a garden nearby. The hotel is a short walk away from an airport shuttle. I would highly recommend Långholmen for anyone who is new or revisiting Stockholm.
