Riddarholmen (Swedish: [ˈrɪ̂dːarˌhɔlːmɛn], "The Knights' Islet") is a small islet in central Stockholm, Sweden. The island forms part of Gamla Stan, the old town, and houses a number of private palaces dating back to the 17th century. The main landmark is the church Riddarholmskyrkan, used as Sweden's royal burial church from the 17th century to 1950, and where a number of earlier Swedish monarchs also lie buried.

This church is also one of the oldest churches in Stockholm. This is near to Gamla Stan. You can either reach here from central station or take a tram. The sun view from the church was beautiful. The building architecture is very rich. You can take good photos here. There is separate price for entry here.Better I recommend you can take daily pass so that you can enter other places too.

A fabulous small islet in the centre of Stockholm, Riddarholmen is the place housing famous Riddarholmen Church which is the final resting place of most Swedish Monarchs. Great views of City Hall from a terrace in Riddarholmen too. Riddarholmen is one of the postcard spots in Stockholm for Photographers. I post my postcards here.

The oldest stone building in Stockholm. A very beautiful place to visit and the view beside it is so mesmerising. Its really worth to visit. You can have a calm date or just to relax or why not to jump in the water and swim a little bit there. A perfect place for a picnic as well. The car parking is a little bit expensive around 20sek/h. Visit it by the sunset. Its the best time to be there. You can get here from gamlastan metrostation Or just by walking from the t central

Riddarholmen is a great small island in Stockholm, Sweden located in the old town called Gamla Stan. There are breathtaking views around and you enjoy every part of the day. Sunsets there are just the best. You can see Sodermalm and the City hall from Riddarholmen, and in the pictures I have uploaded for this review. Have a look in my other pics in google maps as well. Sometimes there are ships parked here and you can enjoy great dinners at the ships restaurant. Or just grab some drinks and sit by the lake enjoying the view. Let me know if you need free guides in Stockholm 🤗🤗

A small island in the heart of Stockholm that is interesting since the place is quiet as compared to others. For a person who does not like crowded places, this one is perfect. It was cloudy when I went there, yet the view was still captivating!
