Restaurant

🫤 Nothing special. As vegetarians we were looking forward to a fully vegetarian fine dining experience but the flavours were quite basic and the taste journey of the different dishes wasn't thought through. The desserts were good Not worth the price unfortunately and service was nothing special. Shame... Vegetarian menu. What a place! They have 2 amazing options for vegetarian tasting menus. The food is innovative and absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic and it's very stylish inside. I would say the food is excellent value for money but the drinks were a little on the pricey side. However, it was definitely one of the best vegetarian menus I have experienced in a long time.

Absolutely blown away by the food and the service. Could not recommend highly enough. We had the 'large Rutabaga' tasting menu with non-alcoholic drink matches and a cheese board. All the flavour combinations were utter perfection, no dish was too heavy, the entire evening was wonderful. From the moment we walked in the door the staff were friendly and attentive with different wait people swapping in and out delivering dishes to our table seamlessly. We cannot wait to come back!

Love this one Michelin star vegetarian restaurant! We tried the large tasting menu for SEK 895. This includes 7 courses and I enjoyed the interesting combination of flavours! The cookies that were served at the end of the meal were delicious too! We went there on Friday night at 9:30pm, and was lucky to get a table at the last minute.

Wonderful place that will convince even the most hardcore meat-eaters that vegetarian food can be phenomenal. Cozy, nordic-casual setting with excellent service and outstanding food. Every single serving was an elegantly executed treat. Creative and visually pleasing. Will absolutely be coming back.

Outstanding all vegetarian dining experience 🌱 Located in the Grand Hotel of Stockholm - Mathias Dahlgren creates a green journey for Dinner! We enjoyed every course - every foam and freshness we got served! The set menu, followed by drinks and wine is a tasty scandic journey.

As a vegan, it’s rare to find fine dining catering to your dietary preferences. I appreciated Rutabaga’s attempt to provide some flare to a type of menu rarely even attempted. To be totally honest, some of the menu felt a bit uninspired for how long and expensive the meal ultimately was. A dressed up lettuce wrap, roasted asparagus dipped in mayo, and roasted cabbage leaves all seemed a bit mundane; however, the bread service was phenomenal with the most clever item was surely the green pea cappuccino.

A great restaurant to visit at least once. Fully vegetarian and high quality. The price is steep, but this is not your "once a week" place anyway, so that's okay. Food is delicious, staff is friendly and accomodating and it feels like a place where you can relax and eat.

Excellent fine dining experience. Obviously more expensive than other places but the staff and food were fantastic. The experience hit the mark and would highly recommend going there.

My girlfriend treated me on my 40th birthday with one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. I don't even know how to do justify to the experince in a short review but I'll try. We both had their vegan dishes with the accompanying assortment of wines and everything just matched perfectly. The staff was great and accommodating, the wait between the meals was just right, the description of each wine together with each meal was very informative and appreciated. And then the food. Oh the food! I know I'm hyping it a bit too much maybe but it really was an amazing experience of quality cuisine. I think we had about 7(?) dishes in the end with everything from delicious soups to Japanese inspired leaf wrapps. Just book a table and give it a go. It wasn't the cheapest meal I've hand but not the most expensive either. But it was worth every krona. They apparently swap out one dish each month to match the ingredients of the season, so we'll definitely be back again.

I enjoyed my experience at Rutabaga. A warm greeting upon arrival, an attentive server offering a drink within few seconds. All of the staff are lovely, well dressed in contemporary uniform and communicating in a professional but sweet manner. Their bread is delicious. The green Pea cappuccino was a pleasant surprise. The truffled green foil gras was lovely and was matched with a tasty none-alcoholic drink. The salad was fresh. The Japanese inspired dish was divine. The roasted cabbage and cheese taste was a pleasant surprise. The berry dessert made me smile with joy. Rutabaga is lovely and delightful.

Far too noisy for the attempt of making good food. Tables far too near. Team compensates almost all.

Amazing food. The coolest thing we ate was the tomato soup, which was clear and not acidic, but tasted just like fresh tomato. The flavors were delicious and fresh. The service was wonderful and the decor was really fun.

Had to head here for my wife’s birthday - she’s vegetarian and had read great things about the place. I’m not vegetarian, but happy wife, happy life eh? Food and service was spectacular. Had some very interesting dishes and local beer. Highly recommend!

Great to find such fine dining restaurants with focus on vegetarian food. It was a memorable experience, with such a vibrant spread for your taste buds. Menu was customizable for specific allergies/preferences.

Great vegetatian tasting menu. Excellent Ambience and Service. If you are looking for large portions, this is not the place. Also, be prepared to pay premium prices, but the location and view make up for it. Some point reductions for not having espresso drinks and missing details on presentation, plating, seasoning, and timing, otherwise up there in the top 10.

Dear Rutabaga team, My sister and I had a wonderful evening at your restaurant on 26 November. The food was delicious (our favorites of the night were the salad wrap and the cauliflower soup), every member of the serving staff made us feel welcome, and the atmosphere in your beautifully designed space was warm and relaxing. What impressed me the most, however, was the non-alcoholic drinks pairing: each drink a special creation designed to complement the specific course it was served with. More often than not, non-alcoholic pairings end up being an assortment of (plain) fruit juices... but your drinks offered unique and truly complex flavor profiles, just like a wine pairing. We enjoyed every last drop. ✨ To anyone who likes supertasty non-alcoholic drinks that are actually flavorful and interesting: Order the non-alcoholic pairing, it will add a whole new layer of enjoyment to an already great experience. Our evening at Rutabaga was some of the best money we spent this year. We'll be back! 😊

Amazing food, honestly it was great. A very fun concept, they only had medium sized portions (see picture's). I absolutely loved how it all plates looked and the taste was great. The lemon sole is a real nice one because it fills a lot and the pumpkin & broccoli with truffle was perfect after the fish. Very sweet and nice waiter with a great memory.
