What
a
dreadful
shop,
please
do
not
waste
your
time.
My
partner
had
€1500
gift
voucher.
The
original
plan
was
to
buy
a
Hermes
belt,
but
in
the
end
she
was
forced
to
use
it
in
a
boutique
that
actually
(radical
idea
trigger
warning
here)
allows
customers
to
come
in
and
buy
things
.
There
was
a
queue
of
maybe
4
customers
waiting,
4
staff
members
inside
and
only
one
customer
in
the
store.
So
what
do
the
rest
of
the
staff
do?
Well
they
look
at
their
phones,
do
small
make-work
jobs,
opening
drawers,
moving
items
slightly
to
the
left
and
then
stand
around
some
more.
I
am
all
for
job
creation
schemes
and
I
think
it
is
wonderful
that
Hermes
provides
employment
for
people
who
have
only
managed
to
develop
the
skillset
of
standing
around
or
using
their
phones.
But
perhaps
Hermes
could
help
their
staff
develop
and
give
them
training
in
some
exotic
skill
like
-
oh
I
don't
know-
sales?
Just
a
thought.
Now
some
people
in
these
reviews
have
mentioned
that
anyone
could
book
a
visit
and
so
no-one
should
be
complaining
about
the
queues.
I
might
have
some
small
amount
of
sympathy
for
this
truly
asinine
point
of
view
if
the
hermes
store
actually
had
a
sign
or
notice
ANYWHERE
explaining
this,
or
perhaps
one
of
their
salespersons
could
have
taken
5
minutes
away
from
their
precious
"busy
doing
nothing"
schedule
and
explain
this
alternative
to
people
waiting
in
the
queue.
