Nice environment and beautiful artwork. Unfortunately, the guards ruin the atmosphere when they cannot agree on what applies. Three don't say anything about a backpack, one says to put it in front of you or in your hand and the last guard at the top of the museum directs us to floor 1 to leave the backpack in custody.

I had high expectations for this restaurant opening for the first time in several years. Admission was free, but you might not even have to line up to get in. There was a work by Hiroshige Utagawa.

There are several interesting paintings by famous artists, but as is the case in the national museum, they mainly show their own, i.e. Swedish, artists who are generally unknown. But it's worth a visit to see what the Swedes have collected. There is also a painting showing the procession after the death of the Swedish king Charles XII, whose patron was chosen by Swedish nationalists.

Good mixture between historical and modern art. Great food at the restaurant, their marinated tempeh with red cabbage is to die for.

Free entry to most exhibitions, well organized and a huge collection of historical items to see. One of my favorite museums in Stockholm ❤️

Finally we get to see our art treasures. Hope new treasures are found. Have read Juvilaren and then think of Kristina Nilsson's emerald jewelry that was so carelessly sold at auction. Now it is at her museum in SmĂĽland Looking forward to experiencing the national museum many times Honor to everyone who worked on this project
