Wonderful evening... despite some technical problems with the booking, which the staff solved gallantly and smoothly. The food and dessert Wonderful... and a different good mojitos... really delicious flavors. Strongly recommend a visit to Knut Regeringsgatan.

Came here for New Year’s Eve dinner … and I have to say that the food was amazing. Everything we ate, from the starter to the dessert, was perfectly prepared and flavourful. And the presentation was on point. Loved the vibe in the place, cozy and intimate. The only miss was the service. From front of house to table service, everything was a bit of a miss. The front of house forgot about us and then remembered and sat us after 20 minutes even though we had a reservation, and then during the 4 course meal the server forgot us and we waited 40 minutes between the 1st and second course. And then they tried to rush us thru the last 2 courses to make up for time. Nice enough about it but it disrupted an otherwise great experience.

We visited in 2020 and came back to Stockholm in 2023. This is the first restaurant I booked. Amazing food, service and atmosphere!!!!

Even though it was full it didn't feel crowded. This is something very few places manage. The atmosphere was great, food very good (very!) and staff friendly and attentive. We were actually mostly attended by an intern, and she was acing it even though she was noticeably nervous. A bit pricey and not somewhere you can go everyday (at least not us ordinary mortals), but we'll worth a visit every now and then.

The food was amazing, we had the North Platter (the reindeer tartare was so good!), the fish and the reindeer steak (surprisingly tender), and everything was delicious. I took some videos as the presentation was also quite beautiful. :) Also had really friendly staff, they were super nice when we asked to get reseated to the windows, explained everything in English and answered questions when we asked about one of the spreads for the bread!

It was a good experience, i went with my office colleagues for afterwork, the place is nice , had great food, I had mushroom flatbread pizza but there other Swedish menu like moose and raindeer you can try if u like, The staff was very polite and served well.

Wir waren heute da und es war sehr lecker. Uns wurde Knut als eines der besten Restaurants für nordisch-schwedisches Essen empfohlen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Absolut empfehlenswert und auch das Personal ist super sympathisch. Weiter so!

Given the huge amount of positive reviews we must have been unlucky. Had flatbread for starter, elk/reindeer for main and cloud berry/Knuts dosa for dessert. Tasty but slightly small portions for my taste. The service was really confusing. All dishes were placed to the wrong person even when telling what we ordered. The first question if it tasted good came around 10 seconds after we had recieved the mains. Then 2 more within 3 minutes. We got dessert menus but didn't get to order until 20 minutes later. This has never really happened to me in a restaurant before so i don't understand how it could happen so many strange things. Will probably not return in some time.

A combo of tradition and creation, this place offers wild meat with a modern touch. The food portions were generous, we barely finished our mains after the starters. The cold cuts preserved the aroma of different types of wild meats, and removed the odor perfectly. Each meat offered different texture and flavor, and the blackberry chutney neutralized the heaviness of the meats. The creative pizza was a pleasant surprise. The moose meat matched perfectly with thyme mayonnaise, and the texture was crunch with the thin pizza dough. Together with Västerbotten cheese and berries, this dish brought new experiences to traditional Nordic flavors. The improvement could be done at this place is that the service was very slow. We waited for more than half an hour to get the starters, and another half an hour to get the mains. Also the tables were too close to each other, we have to excuse our neighbor table to make any movement to our chairs.

We wanted to try some dishes, but it was so crowded that we preferred to order to takeaway. Unfortunately they told us that it only could be pizza. Ok, we ask for pizza but unfortunately (again) after waiting quite long next to the nasty toilets, they tell us that they ran out of pizza boxes and suggest that we stay. During that time a couple of tables got empty. Unfortunately (again), we already ordered pizzas with the idea of takeaway and we wouldn't be able to taste the dishes despite staying. The restaurant is a bit small, but they added seats on the windows with high tables so they can fill it with more people, but it makes the space too tight. I don't think it is the best way to enjoy good food The pizzas were tasty and with a surprising crunchy base. It was interesting, but also makes incorrect to call them pizza indeed. Pizzas have a specific type of base and if you change the base, they receive other names. These so called "pizzas" were closer to a coque as they were using the typical swedish crunchy bread (spisbröd or knäckebröd), but good anyway. And it was hard to cut them with the provided knives. Mine had reindeer meat. Personnel was nice and continuously pending of our needs despite all the previous mistakes, but they could have offered some compensation for all the mess. Nor a dessert or a drink was offered. At the moment of paying you can tip, but you are not obliged and they don't tell you anything nor take it bad as I have read from some reviewer. You tip if you want and if you feel that your experience deserves it, nothing more. If you don't, they will be gentle and smile anyway.

A very cozy place and chill. The waitress was kind and helpful. We got there a bit before the kitchen closed so she recommended us some things they could make at that time. Anyway, they ware amazing. The asorted meats are almost melting in your mouth and the flatbread so tasty. Overall i highly recommend this location.

I came with a group to eat at a restaurant for a three-course meal. The meal took three hours and seemed to last forever. We were a large group, but it still wasn't justified to sit for three hours just to get food. The waiters were very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice, although it felt a bit too dark in the resturant.

Excellent service, warm atmosphere, wide selection of drinks, and great dishes! The composition of the reindeer sirloin was divine and the meat was perfectly cooked.

Was here for their brunch. It was good but maybe a bit small. Not too small but if you do not like 1 or 2 items it gets too small. For example you get scones. Well half a scone per person. And very small dessert. But it all tasted good and a really cozy place.

I went there last night as was in Stockholm for the first time, so looked up a review on this restaurant, When I got there I was warmly greeted sat in a lovely table surrounded by some beautiful plants served by a lovely waitress by the name of Alex the food the service the ambience of the place is very very nice and should I be back in Stockholm again I should certainly go there to eat I recommend this restaurant for authentic Swedish food with excellent friendly service.

The food was very unique, serving northern Swedish food. We ordered the Northern plate appitizer with moose, deer, and pork that was served with goat cheese, lignon berry and cloud berry jam. For mains we ordered char and a pizza with apple, smoked bacon, cheese, a truffle sauce and caramalized onions with two glasses of wine. All the food was really good and quite unique except for the pizza which wasn't my favourite and was the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. I wish I ordered something else. The waiter was also very attentive and nice. It ended up being around 1000 krones which we didn't feel was too expensive.

Had a great experience at Knut. The service was very friendly, and food very tasty. My colleagues and I got different dishes and all looked very great. Mine was the pizza one, which I super recommend it, the taste was superb, ingredients were fresh and the sauces were great. Recommend you to try the mayo with mushrooms!

Enjoyed dinner at Knut with a group of friends. Friendly service and excellent food. However, one of the ordered dishes was forgotten and we had to go and find the staff to get it. Vanilla ice cream with warm cloudberries was the perfect ending of the evening.

Well situated in the center of Stockholm, this local restaurant is perfect to discover Swedish food in an authentic place! The menu covers most of the local specialties and the food is really good! Great to enjoy some drinks and local dishes with a group.

First time visitor of this restaurant. Went with work colleagues. The set meal we had was lovely. The decor and settings is really nice. And the service was great. Highly recommend.

Had a great dinner at Knut! Food was well portioned and delicious. The restaurant serves traditional swedish food based on wild deer, raindeer and moose. I had the wild deer stew which was served with mashed potato and mushroom. We also had the cheese board for dessert which was very tasty. Not 5 stars because the service was slow, and for a weeknight you want to eat sooner than later.
