Tucked down a side street and away from any main road means you’d never stumble across this restaurant but there’s a reason why it was packed on the evening we visited and I’d recommend securing a booking if you want to try it out. The staff were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. It’s not a large place, so the tables are close together and expect to feel a little cramped at times, but that adds to the atmosphere. Coat hangers are available near the door which helps save on space around the table area. The menu isn’t massive but clearly helps ensure each of the present dishes are cooked wonderfully. As soon as we’d ordered some homemade rye bread was brought - opinion was divided on the taste but it was a nice touch and very well presented still. The starter of scallops was served surprisingly fast, almost too fast, but was super tasty with wonderful presentation and flavours. The homemade meatballs were equally as impressive - great portion size and super tasty with incredible flavours, particularly with the pickled cucumber side. There’s a nice range of drinks available on the menu, with a large selection of the wines provided by the glass as well as bottle. The small choice of cocktails are served well, strong and flavoursome. Overall the value is good for a central Stockholm restaurant given the quality of the food. There’s a wonderful atmosphere, great staff and the super tasty food; I’d happily return and highly recommend.

We went there at lunch on Moday in August, 2023. It's mandatory to book in advance even lunch time. We enjoyed Swedish cuisine. It was little bit tough to call the server because they were very busy.

I just came without reservation, luckily we have table. Normally, no table for you without reservation. The restaurant is not big so the table is also small. It can handle 1 portion for each. Atmosphere was great. Staff was happy to serve you not only European but Asian like us. Thanks. The cod fish menu was really salty I think the chef might do wrong. The rest of the food was great. I love meatball

We came here lured by the good reviews and their lunch menu which gave one fish and one meat option. We chose one each and wouldn't be able to decide which one was better. Great produce, great presentation and even better taste. The staff was on par with the food. All in all a great experience.

Wonderful dishes but crazy long waiting times for my food… we walked in at 9:15pm and didn’t get the bill until 11:40pm. Also the Swedish meatballs were sold out which is what I googled that brought me here, bummer. It took much longer than expected I would have preferred to go somewhere else to be honest than spending 3 hours to walk to dinner and walk back to my hotel. Server was nice but the restaurant seemed very under staffed. Server had to tend 10+ tables spilling our beer, forgetting the forks and spoons I felt bad that he had to juggle so much he clearly needed another server to help. Anyways, the bread & Scallops were very good and the flank steak was delicious, while the lamb was just ok. Won’t go back because of the extreme wait times…to the owner or manager: hire more staff!

So close to excellent, but just not quite there…. The menu is interesting with some really nice apps including home-cured herring, a delightful scallop crudo with browned soy butter, and a great seared salmon choice. The food is good, but there are a lot of misses - sigh… I really dislike sounding picky, but…. The dishes are consistently off-balance. Soy sauce is a common ingredient and the chef uses a darker and very salty version that only gets more potent when reduced as it is in several of the dishes. The fried fresh broccoli main was way off with oil pooling in the dish and once again, overly applied soy sauce. The over-reliance on sharp cheese overpowers several of the dishes as well. Despite the culinary slips, many of the dishes are enjoyable and good, just not great. Kinda frustrating as you can see talent in the kitchen and it borders on great with just a bit more effort and attention to balance.

Absolutely loved their meatballs! Plan to make a reservation ahead as the restaurant is always fully booked. The Parmesan and truffle crème brûlée was fun.

We reserved a table online. I guess this was the right decision because it was more than full. We had a three course menu which was amazing the waitress presented us the food professionally. The food was amazing! We would definetely come back, everything was perfect exceot our table. We were sitting next to the door and to close to other guests.

It was a hidden gem close to the central station, it was a small restaurant which had offered a warm hospitality to us, the waiter and waitress there were very friendly and welcoming. Food wise it was delicious too we had the Swedish classic meatballs, it was very tasty, the gravy was very creamy, overall it was great 👍

Food is 10/10 and service is 11/10. 1st meal [3 course set + wine pairing] in Stockholm and it is wondrous. Definitely will come back again.

Ordered the meatball dish and it was great! They only had bottled beer but white selection was pretty decent. Restaurant was full during dinner time. Suggest to book to avoid disappointment. Only issue we had was that the tables were ridiculously close to each other and offers little privacy if you are going on a date

I've been in this restaurant on the first night of my stay in Stockholm. I've had the beef tartare as appetizer and the meatballs as main course. Both were quite strange but good. Swedish restaurants have on average higher prices than Italy but in this case they were excessively high: even the location does not justify the price because it's not particularly nice and the tables are very small and close to each other.

A must if you are in Stockholm. Michelin star level cuisine and the best wait staff in Scandinavia! Superbly creative cocktails and appetizers... down to the bread and butter. Don't think twice, just make the reservation!

A wonderful restaurant with very friendly helpful staff. We had one 3 course meal comprising the Diced Salmon, Tender Flank Steak and Creme Brulee. We also ordered Chanterelle Toast, Seaweed Salted Cod Loin and Chocolate Truffle. We also had some of their home-made bread. Everything was full and rich of flavor. And things looked so great when served. My only advice would be to have a bigger size table. Tables are small so you feel a bit cramped and afraid of pushing over your drinks. But they told us they will be getting new furniture soon. Lovely experience.

The staffs welcomed me warmly and were so kind. It was the first swedish restaurant during this trip. So it was a little challenge to me, but the Homemade meatballs are really good and it comes with tasty mashed potato and pickled cucumber. It's bit pricey, but worthy to try.

We had the scallops as starter, meat balls and arctic char as main course and the chocolate mousse with caramel as dessert. Every one of the was full of flavor, touching all senses of our palate. The attention to details and the quality of the ingredients make the food a five star. The staff, specially Paula, made our experience much richer and nicer. We definitely recommend this restaurant!

Truly excellent and fun dishes! My girlfriend and I each got a different starter, main, and dessert, and everything was great and surprising in its own special way. There’s a sense of playfulness and discovery in everything here - every dish feels like an intriguing project and art piece that tastes delicious and rewarding. I think my favorite was the cod, but it honestly feels like you can’t go wrong here. Fantastic choice for a fancy night out in Stockholm!

Due to the national Midsommar season we had some trouble finding a good place for dinner. Then I remember passing by this one on our first day walking from the main station to our hotel. Luckily it was open and we managed to get a table even though it was fully booked. Staff was extremely friendly and food delicious. Prices are a bit higher but okay. We, 2 persons, had the mushroom toast and the tuna tartar as starters followed by the cooked char and the lamb roast beef as main course accompanied by a bottle of wine. All in all about 1.800 krona (168 Euro) but totally worth it.

Great taste, friendly service, average portions. Worth making a trip for. Came here with a friend late and they kindly managed to sit us. Everything we had tasted delicious, from the bread to the mashed potatoes that came with the meatballs dish. Would come again.

We had a lot of lovely dinners during our 10 day visit to Stockholm, but this was our favorite place out of all of them. It was exquisite. The wine, the cocktails, the appetizers, the main course, dessert, everything was exceptional. The music and atmosphere were also lovely. I highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner for two.

We ordered Swedish meatballs and lamb sirloin at the restaurant. The hand-made meatballs had excellent flavor, paired with a spot-on, smooth, and creamy puree. The sirloin was cooked to the perfection, melting in the mouth. The crème brûlée was also smooth and creamy, and the delightful service added to our overall restaurant experience. I will definitely come back here again!

We all four left with a very very positive impression about everything: -The food was amazing! -Very good selection of whines -Very good deserts -Reasonable prices and good quantity of food -The aesthetics of the restaurant are very good too. Extra points for the super welcoming and polite staff. Absolutely loved it 👏 If we good give more than 5 stars, we would.

Super friendly staff and excellent food. The lamb was out of this world. Would definitely come back. They only have a couple of tables so I'd recommend to book a table in advance. However, it might be a bit cold if you're unlucky and get the table next to the entrance door.

We randomly found this restaurant on Google map and it exceeded our expectations! It's quite a proper dinner place but the vibe is quite cozy and relaxing. We had the mushroom toast and beef tartare and although both were good I think the roast really blew my mind I loved it. The mains were delicious and big in portion too. We had the venison, meatballs and lamb. I have had swedish meatballs but this is by far the absolute best, the sauce is so creamy and flavorful, the meatballs so juicy and everything just goes well together. The venison is also divin, didn't want the dish to end while I savor every bite! The lamb is a bit too gamey for me though I do enjoy it when you go with the tomato / radish. Unfortunately too full for dessert, will just have to go another time!

Loved the food here. 😋 Prices were decent enough but most importantly the food was delicious. We're just so thankful the dishes weren't super salty as some places can really pack on the sodium. If you're looking to have a birthday surprise done well, we witnessed a couple of tables who got just that... (if the same staff continues to stay on) you'll be sure to get some harmonised singing along with your surprise cake!

Definitely Michelin Star worthy - this sophisticated bistro served dishes with wonderful flavors and local ingredients. The ambiance is relaxed in a stylish space. The food has been amazing in Sweden. Our server was so friendly and attentive. My husband ordered the 3 course meal which was very delicious & so rich in flavor, the flank steak perfectly cooked. I ordered the fired char so tasty with a lot of local ingredients. My son ordered the handmade meatballs which my son loved so much. So much better than the meatballs at Ikea. The variation of strawberry dessert was delicious with different texture and flavors. Everything tasted so pure with yummy flavors of local ingredients. Would definitely visit again.

Delicious food. Need to book in advance as it is quite a small restaurant and was busy every night. All of the food and drinks we had were delicious. The service was also very good. The portions were not too big so it was fairly easy to eat 2 or 3 courses. There were also options on the menu to have a set meal which was slightly better value than the standard menu. They have an outdoor seating area as well as indoor which had heating and blankets. My colleagues and I had a lovely evening here.

Found this place by chance while it was raining. Hostess was super friendly and seated me after telling me my options (cold and rainy: outside had heaters and blankets/covered). Food was delicious!!! Had the same starter and meatball entree. Absolutely delicious

I'm amazed about the food and the friendliness of the staff. So professional, and always serving the food from the right side - you barely see this nowadays! I will definitely stop by during my next stay in Stockholm.

Didn’t get a reservation, but walked up about an hour after peak times on a Friday and they were able to squeeze us in! With that being said, it only our table, but many of the tables are so close to each other that you are nearly bumping elbows with the person next to you, not to mention everyone being able to hear each other’s conversation. Service was good, nothing great. Food truly didn’t strike me as anything spectacular, probably wouldn’t come back again.

Starting off with the starter, the tartar was excellent with the mustard compliment and delicious sides of beets and cornichons. Salmon and strawberry with roe and a raw veggies was nice as well. Mains: my partner went with the cod with green pea sauce was very light and could be enjoyed through and through. I had the meat buried underneath the sallad which can’t be seen at the picture but it was good. Another person had the same dish but meat was way undercooked for her and could not be eaten even though we said that we wanted it well done (pregnant). Hit and miss. Dessert: pear dessert with ice cream and a sweet sauce made from pears. Very good finisher and créme brûlée with shaved truffle was very nice and had a deep flavour profile. Nice restaurant with staff that talks a lot to you and makes jokes. Calm setting and nice cleanliness. 4/5

Very comfortable and welcoming place. The waiters could not be more kind, and the food was delicious. I had the best salad I have ever tried, with a wide variety of different flavours that complemented each other perfectly. The lamb was cooked to perfection, and the choice of vegetables and the gravy also tasted beautiful. Certainly a place I will go to whenever I am in Stockholm.

I went to the restaurant for my last dinner in the city, i did enjoy the meatballs but the desert( creme brûlée with truffles was not good for my taste but if you remove the truffles it was just perfect. Very good and fast service and good quality food. They also give complimentary bread traditional recipe.

This food was delicious! We all ordered a classic Swedish meatballs which were perfect. Weiters were very polite and helpful. They told us about local dishes. I think the prices are standard for this quality. The restaurant was fully booked so I recommend to make reservation.

The food was very tasty, everyone in a company of 7 was left satisfied. However the portions are on the small side so it is highly recommended to order a starter as well or go with the 3/5 course options. Will visit again.

Best meal we had in Sweden! We always look at restaurant reviews before trying and many end up falling short of expectations but this place is really exceptional and exceeded our expectations. First, the food was phenomenal. We had the lunch special fish and chicken and both were delicious. We got a very generous pour of wine. We prices are amazing for the value you get. And best of all, the staff is so friendly and attentive. The owner himself is super nice and funny and his daughter also works at the restaurant. It’s a true family owned business. At the end I left my sunglasses at the table and she walked almost two blocks to find me to give them to me. Such nice people, amazing food, and exceptional service!

We went to this restaurant for dinner as part of a couples trip in June 2023. The food was fantastic, it is a fine dining place, and we had starters and mains. The food was really the best we’ve had in Sweden and we would love to go there again! Strongly recommend to other travellers.
