Five out of five. We booked a table in advance to celebrate our anniversary, and it was really nice. We were allowed to choose a table, and decided to sit outside. Don't be afraid about the temperature — there are blankets and a heater at every table. The service was really nice and friendly, the wine was good, and the food — it was beyond my expectations. I will definitely go there one more time to try other dishes on the menu. And I cannot say it was pricey — we ordered two meals and 3 glasses of wine, and spent around 110 euro. I think that was OK. I thought I was going to try a dessert as well, but I was too full after a huge plate of tasty pasta 😅 My recommendations!

Our party arrived nearly 20 minutes after our reserved time but we called ahead of the time to let them know that we were running behind our scheduled time. When we arrived the staff took us to our table. We ordered appetizer to share and it didn't come out as overlapping with main dish. The food was just so tasty and portion, plating and the atmosphere were just amazing. They also have great wine pairing! We chatted with one of the server. He is the chef's brother. Around the closing time there was one guest sat in the corner table by herself. She was polite to the wait staff and to the other guests. It turns out she is the owner/chef's wife. This restaurant is run by a family. They seem very nice and kind people. We enjoyed the evening with delicious food and awesome atmosphere. The price was reasonable and the bill came with candies for every guests at the table. The only con was we felt the room was too cramped of the space.

Our dinner was absolutely delicious. Nothing could have been better. I bet you don’t find a place in Stockholm which serves food in that high quality and quantity for such fair prices. The waiters were incredibly attentive and charming and the ambiance in the room was cheerful and romantic. Please go there and try it out! Reservations are needed. Thanks for this unforgettable dinner, we will come back.

While I do like what they’re going for, DalaNisse did not live up to my expectations. At the price level it’s ok at best. The starter toast was hardly toasted at all and the salad lacked the freshness you’d expect from a good restaurant. Other that that, the dish was ok. The main course was also just so-so. The vegetarian Portobello based dish lacked distinctness. But like the starter it was ok. As for the place overall it was too loud. There was only six of us but still it was hard to hear what everyone was saying. If you’re curious about the place, by all means give it a shot. Just make sure to manage your expectations.

First dinner ever in Sweden didn’t disappoint at all! Amazing köttbullar served with mashed potatoes and lingonberry sauce, best typical & high quality Swedish food

They immediately brought fancy sourdough bread without a question, plus olive oil and cream cheese to have with it. The garlic bread was really good and crispy too. Super recommended!

This place had such a buzz to it and is incredibly popular. We had an amazing server who was incredibly friendly and made us feel really welcome. The food was good, not amazing but the vibe and service made it a great meal overall. Glad we stopped for dinner!

Very nice meal - the service was so pleasant and attentive. The place is pretty small so not as relaxing as some restaurants. The menu is small and as a result didn't appeal to me fully but that could be a cultural thing potentially. The lamb fillet was cooked perfectly but I wasn't mad about the accompanying assortment of vegetables - all a bit messy and could have benefitted from being simpler I think. The dessert (parfait) was good but nothing special - I wanted more richness and something more substantial. Prices are about what you would expect for a decent restaurant in Stockholm. So overall a good restaurant but I wasn't quite as overwhelmed as the reviews would suggest - this may be down to my own tastes admittedly

I've been here twice, and both times the food and service has been outstanding. The restaurant itself is quite small, but cozy and intimate. They serve Swedish dishes, both traditional ones and modern ones with a twist, and the menu has a great deal of variety. Considering what you get, the prices are very fair. The waiters are attentive and friendly, and the food is delicious. We were here for a dinner on a Saturday night and my boyfriend and I both ordered the veal pasta. They accidentally brought out the vegetarian pasta for both of us, which we said was fine, but they insisted on bringing out some veal on the side for us and at the end of the evening only charged us for the vegetarian pasta and also offered us our sodas on the house. The pasta itself was delicious—flavorful and creamy, with well-balanced tastes. Our waiter was also very attentive regarding my food allergy, which I really appreciated. All of us loved the food and all the dishes were very nicely presented and well prepared. We were very happy with our experience here, and our visitors really liked getting to try such high-quality Swedish cuisine. I highly recommend DalaNisse to anyone looking for a nice experience and great food in Stockholm.

I’m a vegetarian! I had a fantastic experience. I’m very particular with the standard of food I eat, I really enjoy quality food and I can be very fussy about it. Today’s food absolutely hit every spot I was craving !! So delicious, full flavoured and hot (so hard to find restaurants that serve their food really hot). I have the baked creve, croquettes and Gnocci (amazing). The atmosphere is lively and exciting. The Malbec is delicious. The waiters are attentive and very very friendly 😅 Can’t wait to come back here again.

I waited at the door to be seated as it was on the welcome paper. Nobody came to me but a group of Swedish guys arrived after me and took the free table. Nobody asked me if I wanna sit or something, it was just ridiculous. I know it's lunch time and busy but this is an awful experience.

Fantastic restaurant, a little gem hidden away in Stockholm a little further out of the centre. Food and service were beautiful, everything was perfectly cooked, honestly can't find a fault with dinner.

One of the best restaurants I have been to so far. Both the ambience and the service I found very pleasant. The waiters were very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. My meal was perfectly matched and I have never eaten such deliciously prepared beet and yellow. We would recommend the restaurant to others and revisit if we visit Stockholm again. Thanks for the nice evening!

We have had the nicest meal at this restaurant. The portions are huge and it tastes lovely. We had medallions with mash and pancakes with bacon and lingonberry jam. The waitress was super nice, she bought us mulled wine and even topped it up once we finished, some lovely bread as well to start it with. As we couldn't finish the pancakes she offered to pack them for takeaway, gave us some chocolates and ginger cookies to take away as well. The atmosphere and the attentiveness of the waitress made the whole experience so lovely, highly recommended. Should probably book as tables filled up fast when we arrived at 6pm (we did book in advance)

Stumbled on and decided to try it shortly after arriving in Stockholm. Really good service, food and atmosphere. It was a busy evening but the staff managed to figure out how to accommodate an extra small table for the two of us. The food was wonderful. Must try the mushroom croquettes! The lingonberries that came with the meatballs had a juicy pop as you bite into them. The seafood stew was full of flavour. Thank you for the amazing, delicious meal!

Fine food with a master assembly! Great place discovered by chance. (Make a reservation) Walking is the only chance to know the unknown. Enjoy Stockholm!

DalaNisse is an extraordinary restaurant located in Stockholm! My experience here was wonderfull and I therefore recommend everybody to take a visit at this beautifull place. The employees are as kind as can be. They immediately helped us with our orders and even brought apple juice from another place nearby to satisfy our needs! Additionally, they occasionaly checked in if everything was okay. The food is perfect. They gave us tasty bread at the start followed by my order which included a calf filet and crème brûlée. These could not have been made better as every ingredient added it's own wonderfull taste. It was more than enough food, so no worries about the size. The best dish I have had in a long time! The restaurant offers a nice vibe and has beautiful decoration. The restroom was nicely decorated with candles and had a fresh odour. Overall, this restaurant was amazing and it would be a shame if you did not give it a chance when visiting Stockholm. Perfect!

Very good restaurant, nice ambiance. We had to wait a little for a table but this got made up nice with great service and free coffee. The food was delicious and they have a very nice and rich menu. Definitely recommended to visit when in Stockholm!

It's a rare phenomenon to find great service in Sweden and DalaNisse excels at that. The food was OK, if not a bit bland, definitely not as good as expected after reading all the reviews. It was still a very pleasant evening and the establishment is small yet quiet enough to hold a conversation.

Excellent restaurant, I had an amazing time with a friend there. The atmosphere is cosy and extremely soothing (subdued lighting, candles, chill music). The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to make yourself if feel comfortable and make sure you spend a good time. Excellent value for money. I would come back if I come to Stockholm again. Thanks so much for the amazing time & Keep up the good work!

The service here is amazing and super friendly. The food is well made too. Gets busy so book a table in advance. I love their classic steak with mashed potatoes

The food was good but the service was exceptional. Everyone was extremely kind and attentive. Probably the best waiters I have encountered in Sweden in my many years here.

Superb service and high quality food in the hearth of Stockholm. Quiet area in Stockholm central and service above all expectations. Really good appetizers, main and wine.

One of the best restaurants I’ve EVER been to! The food was unbelievable (we had garlic bread for a starter, a beef tenderloin and a flank steak for mains, and a vanilla ice cream and creme brûlée for dessert). And the service was one of the best I have ever experienced - everyone was very friendly, and made us feel incredibly welcome. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! :)

Nice atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Not too comfortable outdoor seatings. Good service - nice and friendly. They were available as soon as we needed something. The food was served quickly. Food doesn't have any moment of surprise, but is generally of good quality. The beef & veggies served on plank could be better though as they didn't have completly right flavours. Big portions.

Great atmosphere, all the tables were filled yet we were able to hold conversations in normal voices. Amazing service and the food tasted great. Did think my entrecote had too much sauce on the plate as the meat was kinda swimming in it. But otherwise good. Happy valentines! 💕
