The Max restaurant near Kungsträdgården is, sorry to say, disgusting. It's incredibly poorly managed, chaotic, and dirty. We waited at least 20 minutes for the food to come out, which isn't particularly fast for a fast food place, and when it did it looked everything but presentable - the salad filled a fourth of the bowl and looked as if it had been dropped onto the floor and been put back into the bowl, and the burger packaging were wet with the carton disintegrating and the burgers soggy (!!!) as if they too had been dropped onto a puddle of water or something! The staff were clueless as to why we thought the food looked gross as well, very immature and not people you want serving you food.

Max in Hamngatan is located in a good location in the inner city of Stockholm. It can be reached by tram line 7 and many bus lines. The restaurant has self-service cash registers and the service has been prompt on both visits. The quality and taste of the food are excellent by the standards of fast food places, as is the case at Max's in general. The comfort level of the premises is average, and the restaurant has a free toilet. Max is a very good change to American fast food chains.

It is located almost in the City center of Stockholm. It is a McDonald like fast food restaurant. It remains crowded all the time. I had vegan burger. It was good. Price is a bit higher for a combo meal. The staffs cannot speak in English though they understand.

Right in the middle of the city, super busy place, yet super fast and friendly service. Of course finding a seat might be tricky, but there's plenty. I ordered a medium meal cheese burger with large fries, worth the money and delicious.

Very delicious burgers for fastfood! As long as you're willing to move past from the looks. But you know what they say, never judge a book by it's cover~ Also; the fries were delicious! The best you can find and a lot better than McDonald's!

I like the fact that you can choose gluten free bun or a salad wrap instead of normal bun for every hamburger. The taste of the patties was very nice, the creole loaded fries were tasty. For a fast food joint, good bang for the buck.

The crispy nuggets were burnt and super old. We called and the staff tried ti gaslight us and said it was a “new recipe”

My bad review is not about the taste of the food. That was fine (as any other fast food chain). It is because of the service. The burger I ordered (fish burger) was so hot that it burned my palate, I asked if I could talk to the supervisor and his answer was that the food was perfect, I have never burnt my palate before with any other food, so I don't think that was perfect, unfortunately I'm touring in Stockholm and leaving tomorrow atherwise I'll seek for legal advice, not fair, you shouldn't serve food that hot without telling customer to wait at least few minutes before digging in

The avocado spicy burger is just so delicious! Also glutenfree, and contamination free. Everything is not a problem. So no problem with celiac disease. For me it was one of the best burgers from a fast food restaurant, that I have ever eaten. The glutenfree burger is also delicious. Just great. Great company, and so good that they care about people with allergies. Thank you!

Nothing to do with FAST food! Takeaway-order took over 20 minutes to get finished. The reward for waiting was a mediocre burger and fat-soaked, overfried onion rings. To round it up, they didn't even put napkins into the box so that I can get rid of the fatty fingers. One of the worst fast-food-experiences ever!

I stumbled onto this place during a day trip to the city on a long layover. Similar vibe to a Shake Shack. This place was packed at 3:20 am with people coming out of the clubs. Crisy fries and tasty burger. Nice atmosphere. The machine order is a bit slow though, my food came out even faster.

Let’s phase it: everyone loves Max burgers at 3am after a night out. Yet, on my latest desperate mission to pre-cure my tomorrow‘s hangover the other day, I was very disappointed to find the cheese on every of my 4 Hamburgers to be still cold and „non-melty“. So here we go: 1 star for existence of Max. 2nd star for the burgers. 3rd star for the delicious meat and being quick at 3am. 4th star gone because of non-perfect cheese. 5th star gone because half of the self-ordering machines were broken. Anyway: would probably come back!

Food is tragic, burger with beef have not even flavor of meat its stincks. Fries is the worst i ever have in my life. I dont recommend MAX fastfoods.

A good place to have an easy cheap meal. Their spicy chicken burgers were extra crispy, spicy, juicy and satisfying. Their fries are thinner than McD but a lot crispier and are called Crispy fries. The dipping sauces were alright. I'd recommend it if you're looking for fast food after shopping in the area. 😁

I got salmonella from the chicken burger I had last night. It was completely pink and should not have been served like that.

I had a gluten free bun cheese burger. It was very tasty, bun could've done with being toasted longer as it fell apart quickly (gf problem). However, it was very tasty with plenty of filling. The restaurant was very, very busy, so I let them off with the toasting. Plus, I was fine afterwards so no cross contamination too. Quick and easy self ordering system. All in all a good fast food place and I recommend it.

MAX is always great but only one toilet is ridiculous… I had to wait almost 30min because there was a huge queue. It is absolutely ridiculous to offer only one toilet for paying customers

I really liked the place, but as a tourist myself, I found the place a bit hidden and very closed from the environment of Sergelstorg. Apart from that, nice people and a very minimalistic design of chairs and tables, which is appreciated to fit as most people as possible.

The food overall tastes great if you likr fast food. The place can get very crowded in the afternoon, and it can become hard to find a table.

This is a good swedish fastfood brand. They are really good at making delicious fast food. Their food are healthy, tasty and mostly green based. Max hamngatan has a good location, available sitting options, friendly stuff so I recommend them for you.

There are more than 3 outlets of Max burger in Stockholm.This one is located at the heart of the city.This place is very crowded during my visit.The orders typically served within 5 to 10 minutes.More number of staffs were employed for ensuring hasle free ordering. The customer service was good.However the place is very much small.But it was lot crowded.Most of the people were standing and eating.Regular maintenance were done. We ordered chicken burger.The patty was good and the bread was soft.
